  1. So, what is actually considered a dummy schedule? Just to make sure I really did it right I guess.
  2. So, if I have the 6.12, what do I do? Create a dummy schedule? I just did it and then ran a scan and it went away. So, I did it right?
  3. I have a question on UPS for my unRAID. I have the CP1350PFCLCD from CyberPower. Today, we had a power outage for an extended period of about 15 to 20 minutes. It did go into shutdown mode and turned off my unRAID server. The only thing I disliked was that my UPS shut off also. If that happens when I'm gone, how will I get my UPS to turn back on without physically pushing the UPS power button?
  4. One of my hard drives shows most of the info, but it is missing the Manufacturer. I am so anal that this bothers me. Is there anyway I can add this so it shows the manufacturer? It is missing the part that says Seagate Exos X18. Thanks.
  5. I have been running it for almost 2 days now. It gave me 1 completed task in that time. That seems pretty slow if you ask me. I must have some setting wrong somewhere? Does anyone have some settings they use that I could try?
  6. Do you use it? What do you set it at? And thanks for the info.
  7. There is a lot of info in this post and I must have missed it. What is the CRF that is the most standard to change from 264 to 265? I tried a setting, and it made a 1.7 GB video 211 MB. I don't want it that small, so I think I need to adjust the CRF some more. When watching the film by Josh, he had it at 29 or so, That seems just too much. Is 23 the default setting that will change the size, but not as much as the last experiment did? Thanks.
  8. I used 1 share with multiple folders.
  9. I got it all taken care of. Yep, got 6 right now.
  10. Would I use this along with prowlarr? Do they work together, or do I just need one or the other? I'm learning for sure.
  11. I'll look into that. Thanks.
  12. I have since found some info that helps some. No videos so to speak, but written content. I guess that is better than nothing. I'm almost ready to get started, but now the daunting task of choosing which provider. Too many of them. Everyone seems to have a different opinion on them too. I like this one, but I don't like that one etc. Maybe I'll find the one that suits me best, but I don't know what will suit me best because I have never used them before. Is there one that is best suited for someone in the US? Or does it even matter?
  13. I need some direction on setting up usenet and all of the fixins. What is the best tutorial out there, or is there even one on how to setup for a usenet system? I'm going to be searching, but thought I'd ask before I do. Thanks. SOLVED!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
  14. I have radarr, sonarr, and Plex installed. I'm ready to install prowlarr next. What other containers do you recommend adding to make Plex more robust?
  15. Well,it was almost 100%, but not quite. I finally got time to get the swap from PC to unRAID Plex. It all went pretty well, except 7 of the people I share with are not on the list anymore. I don't know what happened. Why would 5 make it, but 7 not make it on the share list. The ones that made it on the list had been on there a long time. The other 7 had only been on several months. Please tell me there is a way to fix it. They are not the most tech savy people. Thanks.
  16. I used the Linuxserver install. I found that out after installing it anyway. I have it just as host.
  17. Which is what I found out I had to do also. My custom network didn't work.
  18. I tried using my custom network, but I get a message on my new tab that says about:blank#blocked. When I change network type to host, it seems to work. I don't know if bridge is an option??? I'm kind of lost here. I have not found anything that helps me with the initial set up of the linuxserver. I'm sure there is something someplace, I just haven't found it yet.
  19. I just watched an IBRCORP video, and he had the custom network used, so I guess I will to. We'll see what happens. The problem with the TRaSH video is that the one the he uses is different. Is there a place I can find the proper way to set up the linux version of Plex. There is no place for 32400 port and other things are much different than the Plex install he used. Thanks.
  20. And the linuxserver is the one I'm choosing. Since I'm running my sonarr and radarr on a custom network, do I need to run Plex on the same custom network? I haven't seen anything on this yet. It may be out there, but I haven't found it. Thanks.
  21. I have decided on linuxserver for my install. Since I'm running my sonarr and radarr on a custom network, do I need to run Plex on the same custom network? I haven't seen anything on this yet. It may be out there, but I haven't found it. Thanks.
  22. So, support here is better than at the Plex forum?? Does the linuxserver work as well with plexpass? Sorry for the questions, I'm just a week into unRAID, and want to make sure I do it all right. It's no fun having to start over. Best to do it right the first time. Thanks.
