Solutions

  1. Dojimaster's post in New Server - after intial parity disk had read errors - pulled 16TB "failed disk" (reading errors) - NOW it is passing smart test on a different, non Unraid PC. was marked as the answer   
    Yeah its dead. Finally failed hours into Extended Smart Test.
