I had to disable and add the collabora its slow but at least my changes are getting saved.

Seems that nextcloud has let this part of the project fail for over a year and have not fixed this issue. workaround is to created a separate onlyoffice instance and tie it back to your nextcloud instance.

Anyone else having issues with onlyoffice not saving edits on spreadsheets or docs. Seems that it broke on nextcloud and they have not fixed it. I have several spreadsheets that would not save the data and had to resort to use google. been googling and it seems until nextclud fixes the integration you may suffer from this.

my Nextcloud docker updated 2 days ago and not it will not start gives an execution error, error 403 anyone have that happened?

I think this all great advice but I wondered what changed? Before few users made the mistake of exposing their servers to the WWW and paid for it. However after the update to 6.9 and 6.9.1 it seems that it became more prevalent and more posts were to be found that stuffed disappeared or their servers were compromised. Just my opinion but it seems that added functionality exposed some of these folks where before 6.8.3 kept them unexposed. Either way, I learned a long time ago what a misconfigure firewall can do when the internet is involved.

up to 18.03 no issues

came up no issues trying 18.03

I went ahead an changed the repository and it pulled the data., started the container and i looked in the log and it looks like upgrading the instance.

I am at 18.01 and tried to get to 18.03 but it will not pull the update since I'm a version behind. that stinks I will have to manually download it and step upgrade

I use splashtop for all my VM and physical machines. I been struggling on my MacOS vm where splashtop just doesn't connect and if it does nothing happens. Can't move the mouse or when it moves its delayed. I wondered if it was the the vm or network, windows vm with splashtop works flawlessly, so I installed teamviewer and man it just worked. So I searched the topic where spaceinvader recommends using the intel nic instead of the vmxnet. I made the changed and tried it again same result. Splashtop struggles while teamviewer just sails. My windows vm no issues and my physical mac also no issues. Any other suggestions?

update, so disregard all I posted, since I use docker proxynet and mariadb, when mariadb update it grabbed a new ip from proxynet. Therefore nextcloud could not to the database. Fix the issue by correcting the config file in nextcloud. Restarted the nextcloud container and boom is working. Keep on learning.

I I am using his docker I was using the other one but I broke it when I tried to set this up as a secondary to play with it. Did a little bit of googling last night and somebody with the same error notice that the permissions or owner of the files got changed and I did notice that a few of the files went from SSHD:root to root:root That was one of the fix is to fix the error however did not fix my problem when I change those to the correct user Exactly what logs are you looking for because I tried to find them and couldn’t find a file with the log in its name Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
