  1. logfile.txtI woke up this morning and I noticed two things: 1.) I cannot get into the WebUI 2.) My end point is no longer the Netherlands, even though that's what's set in my wgo, conf file. I've upgraded to the latest version, and I've downgraded to 5.1.1-1-01. Any thoughts on why I can no longer access the web UI? I've since reupgraded to todays latest image
  2. Automatic moves Currently, qBittorrent is moving my completed files. I've been trying to set this up so that the ARR apps move the files and then delete the torrents themselves once the copy operation is complete, also using hard links. Can y'all share with me some of your troubleshooting you used to get the ARR apps to remove the completed torrent files and not qBittorent?
  3. Is there a way to download forum threads? I want to be able to ingest long threads (188 pages) into ChatGPT so I can do more research before asking the community for help on a question that may have already been answered.
  4. With the Name Servers set to 1.1.1.1 and 1.0.0.1, will this produce a DNS leak when using the container's VPN? If so, are there other recommended privacy name servers?
  5. I did a search for a plugin and could not find an answer. Is there a way to add third-party plugins to the container? I was unable to find a means to do so. Thank you for your feedback Edit: I figured out I was able to map an external folder and install the plugin via the preferences> advanced menu
  6. I am just setting this up for the first time. I just thought I'd put up a post with the keywords for the next person who tries searching for the phrases START ORDER and STOP ORDER like I did, but didn't notice the extra words on the screen...sorry...when you get older, it gets harder to see all the words ;) This is an awesome plugin. Thank you for making it easy.
  7. Gotcha…what is the manual user input?
  8. Thank you. I installed the System Temp Plugin. All I could find now is the settings page which seems to be showing whatever 2 temps I selected...I don't see anything that resembles temperature meters or a reporting module for the dashboard. Is the settings page the only info output from the plugin? Thanks for the help...
  9. Hi there. Did you ever come with a solution? I’m currently using a Rackchoice case with their 5 tray x 3 bay hotswap cage, but my disks are running hot. I’m also looking for a better solution that is a short depth case.
  10. Hi All. I noticed that for the Dynamix System Temp plugin it requires Perl. I also saw a note about it being needed for V6 and below? Maybe? I do not see a package or plugin for PERL. Is this what everyone is noticing? Are we installing temporarily via CLI? Thanks for your input.
  11. Thank you. I haven't had to troubleshoot in the Dev Mgr for years! Thank you for pointing it out. I updated the serial driver. There is also a missing driver for another PCI device...would you happen to know if there is a device during initial setup that typically needs to be addressed?
  12. In the Unraid Docker installation, I am unable to pull some feeds. ChatGPT indicates that the error log suggests I'm being refused because I appear to be an unknown user agent or an automated bot. The setting it suggested does not seem to be in version 1.26.3. Would anyone know how to get around this?
  13. I have installed my Win11 VM. I am trying to use RDP from the VM panel, and therefore installed the Guest Agent service from the VirtIO CD. The service is running, but Unraid is not reporting the IP address. After several reboot, it still shows Requires guest agent installed. Have I missed a step? I also see no references to this in the VM settings. FWIW I can successfully use RDP from another Windows machine, it's just that I cannot launch it from the Unraid web interface. Thank you for your feedback
  14. That was awesome. Second time I did not realize an icon was clickable. Thank you for showing this to me.
  15. I installed used enterprise drives. After a few reboots and adjustments, I received a UDMA_CRC_Error_Count of 4. This has not increased after subsequent reboots and checking cables. Is there a way to suppress this error on the Dashboard so that there is not a persistent error message until it happens to increase again? My research suggests that this can happen on occasion, and it is nothing to worry about unless it increases again. I tried setting an ignore rule in smart-one.cfg to no avail. Thanks for your feedback
  16. That’s awesome. I’ll test it out!
  17. After a few days and a couple false starts I finally have my array up and running with two parity disks. We got lucky and didn’t lose power during the storm last night… But it sounds like the repair efforts have necessitated turning our power off now. I’ve got the network on a UPS so I was able to get things shut down before the UPS wore out. However, the interface Unraid GUI interface through my phone doesn’t always seem to send the commands through. Until I can figure out how to have the UPS send the shut down signal, can I do a power down by pressing the power button like I do on my windows machines? On my windows machines I press the power button and it initiates the power shut down routine and correctly turns itself off.
  18. @NicoS7 thank you for the reply. Couldn’t sleep that night and ended up doing more research. I needed up with Gigabyte Z790 D DDR 4. It was half the price of the latest and greatest boards, allowed me to use 14th gen processors, and recycle my existing RAM. I decided to leave the latest and greatest spending for my upcoming Proxmox build, otherwise this would have been the perfect board for me. Thank you for the referral.
  19. Hi there. I am building an Unraid box from scratch. I plan to purchase the lifetime license once I have all my components in hand. On the Intel platform, have y’all come across a Mobo/CPU combo that can utilize 6+ native SATA connectors and 2+ native NVMe connectors without lane sharing or disabling one another without going into Xeon territory? I’m indifferent if it is from a mainstream manufacturer or industrial like CWWK or its rebrands. Thanks for your feedback.
  20. @Wody I agree with you...Enterprise stuff is great. I currently run a Brocade 6450P Switch. Unfortunately, every time I dabble in enterprise-grade stuff, I get caught with compatibility issues, one or two pieces of important info that never came up in my research, etc. I tend to stick with consumer-level stuff. If I had local resources to deal with, I would dig in a little more, but dealing with folks on eBay for find stuff wears me out ;) I was hoping to get lucky...my current Windows machine is a series 7, so it's getting converted due to lack of official Win11 support for Series 7 processors...but if I can find a good modern solution that was all in one, I was going to do that instead.
  21. @MAM59 Thanks for your feedback. I neglected to add into the post I need to stay in the Intel orbit for QuickSync. I'll update the post.
  22. Aside from some 680 chipset boards, would anyone have a recommendation for mobos supporting 12th and 13th gen Intel CPUs having 6+ SATA connectors and 2+ NVMe connectors that don’t disable one another? Without using a breakout board?
  23. Hi @Frank1940 , thanks for the feedback I intend to use this machine as my home NAS, share files externally with myself and a few others. I’ll end up hosting a few containers like HA and Immrich. I don’t intend fto use the machine to rip and converts files, it’s I’ll likely stream one occasion. I’ll also likely install a windows VM just to have it available, and I’ll occasionally install other VMs, buy only to play with, nothing mission critical. I’m can start with a breakout card, but i only have one slot on the existing mobo, which then i won’t later beable to use a 10GB nic. ECC…I think I’m changing my mind…but as it’s becoming an option for consumer level DDR5, I’m thinking why not explore it for a system ill run the next 10 years Not really interested in buying a gpu…but i play with Blue Iris, so the intel integrated Quicksync is a requirement.
  24. Hey all. Microsoft's upcoming lack of support for i7 processors in Win11 has me building a new NAS solution from scratch. As this will likely be the last full build I do for a while, I don't mind spending a little extra money on it...But I'm also just a low-level hobbyist, so I don't want to make it a full commercial-grade solution. I'll likely start with what I've got, which is 4 SATA ports and an NVMe port...but the NVMe port shuts down one of the 4 SATA ports. As I'm reading, I'm not finding any build guides for the ideal machine layout...I see some mentions of having 2 parity drives and a mirrored NVMe ZFS pool...but I can't seem to find a build guide with recent hardware supporting ECC RAM and intel iGPUs. Could anyone recommend a build guide that has links to new consumer/prosumer hardware with warranties? I'll handle the drive array sizing based on the number of SATA ports on the motherboard. Thanks for your feedback.
