  1. Hi gang! I have 2x SuperMicro AOC controllers (8 SATA drives on each). The problem is, they don't seem to support larger than 2TB drives Would these controllers replace them (vis a vis, do they have support under unRAID): LSI Internal SAS SATA 9211-8i 6Gbps 8 Ports HBA PCI-E RAID Controller Card These appear to support up to 6TB and are available on eBay for < $100. http://www.ebay.com/itm/New-LSI-Internal-SAS-SATA-9211-8i-6Gbps-8-Ports-HBA-PCI-E-RAID-Controller-Card-/281409936741?hash=item418556dd65:g:p2cAAOSwQItT6Jyk Any advice is appreciated
  2. Just a quick note of thanks for still updating the plugin! Not all of us are excited about Dockers
  3. You *may wish to put this on the OP, as most people will likely scan that page instead of delving into many pages of posts. Just a suggestion to keep your sanity Done, bold red lettering and everything. unRAID 6.1 essentially jails all plugins, which is where the problem occurs when sending commands from php (web interface) to the command line. Assuming I can get around that easily, I'll then need to test if it breaks the applications themselves or not. If not, then updating for 6.1 will at least be possible, and will happen in the next round of updates. Groovy - I'm sure that will save yo-u some (WTF?!?!?!) in the long run I've rolled back to 6.0.1 because, honestly, your plugins are the most important part of my Plex setup

  5. Aha! This would explain why I have to commandline stop/start/update
  6. Uh oh, 404. I was going to test the 6.1RC2 builds, but I get this when I try to snag them from the OP links: "The file you’re looking for has been moved or deleted." FYI.
  7. Actually, I use the TVHEADEND channel in Plex all the time, and it works very well for me. YMMV, I suppose.
  8. Just a notice, there's an update for PMS that doesn't show up in the plugin. The new version is .10 (.8 is the most recent in the plugin). Just an FYI.
  9. So far installed and working wonderfully on my unRAID 6.0.1 server. Looking forward to dumping Calibre!

The thing is, they *do* start properly and run properly. When I shut the server down though, they "kill the process" rather than shutting it down. I'm assuming this is because it cannot find the PID files. Any idea what might be causing this?
  11. How did you go about installing OSX, be interested in the process. I had a Yosemite installer. I'll have to try to remember how I did it, there was a walkthrough: http://blog.definedcodehosting.com/osx-qemu-kvm
  12. I have an AMD FX8350 and it's working very well with KVM. I had to add a special parameter to get it working with OSX though (<qemu:arg value='core2duo,vendor=GenuineIntel'/>) On all other machines it's working well.
  13. You can still use tv_grab_file with the docker if you already have an EPG file. You only have to name it guide.xml. Oh, peachy, I'll try that EDIT: Well, not so much. I used my channels.xml (from SchedulesDirect) and I copied it to where the "guide.xml" was located. I renamed it guide.xml and re-loaded the EPG Grabber and saw this: 2015-05-21 16:46:34.764 spawn: Executing "/usr/bin/tv_grab_wg" 2015-05-21 16:46:35.127 /usr/bin/tv_grab_wg: grab took 1 seconds 2015-05-21 16:46:35.293 /usr/bin/tv_grab_wg: parse took 0 seconds 2015-05-21 16:46:35.293 /usr/bin/tv_grab_wg: channels tot= 56 new= 56 mod= 56 2015-05-21 16:46:35.293 /usr/bin/tv_grab_wg: brands tot= 0 new= 0 mod= 0 2015-05-21 16:46:35.293 /usr/bin/tv_grab_wg: seasons tot= 0 new= 0 mod= 0 2015-05-21 16:46:35.293 /usr/bin/tv_grab_wg: episodes tot= 0 new= 0 mod= 0 2015-05-21 16:46:35.293 /usr/bin/tv_grab_wg: broadcasts tot= 0 new= 0 mod= 0 So it's not looking like it worked
  14. Does anyone have some helpful steps to get the EPG working? I was using tv_grab_file and that was working great, can't get my head around this Web++ thing at all...
  15. My bad, thanks for the re-point
  16. Maybe not the correct name for it, but I think it would be cool to have a script that would "balance" the distribution of files over the disks. For example, if I have three drives - Drive 1 is 95% full, Drive 2 is 75% full and Drive 3 is only 20% full. The balancer would distribute files across the volumes to even out the data spread on the drives. I end up doing this manually but I though some guru might be able to come up with a way to do this automagically. Just my 0.02
  17. I can confirm that the addition of <qemu:arg value='-cpu'/> <qemu:arg value='core2duo,vendor=GenuineIntel'/> Just before the </domain> works a treat!
  18. I found it fine to follow (from a Linux cmdline perspective) I'm not sure how to get it into XML format either, but so far it's installing fine!
  19. It boots in a circle to the Chameleon loader. I should point out that this HDD image never got installed, so should I point to the installer file somewhere as well? YES! It works if I add the DVD lines like so: /usr/bin/qemu-system-x86_64 -enable-kvm -m 2048 -cpu core2duo,vendor=GenuineIntel \ -machine q35 \ -usb -device usb-kbd -device usb-mouse \ -device isa-applesmc,osk="PUT THE KEY HERE" \ -kernel /mnt/vmdisk/vm_images/extra/chameleon_svn2510_boot \ -smbios type=2 \ -device ide-drive,bus=ide.1,drive=MacDVD \ -drive id=MacDVD,if=none,file=/mnt/extra/vm_tools/Yosemite.iso \ -device ide-drive,bus=ide.2,drive=MacHDD \ -drive id=MacHDD,if=none,file=/mnt/extra/vms/Yosemite/Yosemite.qcow2 \ -vga std \ -vnc 0.0.0.0:5 \ It's installing OSX as I type this Now to be able to make it permanent...
  20. Same result as Jude. It eliminates the <vendor>GenuineIntel</vendor> when it starts. I can't post the -v output because it's just a black screen.
  21. Superb guide! I can get everything going, but my VM hangs on the Apple Logo screen when booting for the first time. Any ideas? I'm running OSX Yosemite. I can post my XML: <domain type='kvm' id='11' xmlns:qemu='http://libvirt.org/schemas/domain/qemu/1.0'> <name>OSX-Yosemite</name> <uuid>0ba39646-7ba1-4d41-9602-e2969a3fc26d</uuid> <metadata> <type>None</type> </metadata> <memory unit='KiB'>4194304</memory> <currentMemory unit='KiB'>4194304</currentMemory> <vcpu placement='static'>2</vcpu> <resource> <partition>/machine</partition> </resource> <os> <type arch='x86_64' machine='pc-q35-2.2'>hvm</type> <kernel>/mnt/extra/vm_tools/chameleon_svn2510_boot</kernel> <boot dev='hd'/> <bootmenu enable='yes'/> </os> <features> <acpi/> </features> <cpu mode='custom' match='exact'> <model fallback='allow'>core2duo</model> </cpu> <clock offset='utc'/> <on_poweroff>destroy</on_poweroff> <on_reboot>restart</on_reboot> <on_crash>destroy</on_crash> <devices> <emulator>/usr/bin/qemu-system-x86_64</emulator> <disk type='file' device='disk'> <driver name='qemu' type='qcow2'/> <source file='/mnt/extra/vms/Yosemite/Yosemite.qcow2'/> <backingStore/> <target dev='hda' bus='ide'/> <alias name='ide0-0-0'/> <address type='drive' controller='0' bus='0' target='0' unit='0'/> </disk> <controller type='usb' index='0'> <alias name='usb0'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x02' slot='0x01' function='0x0'/> </controller> <controller type='ide' index='0'> <alias name='ide0'/> </controller> <controller type='sata' index='0'> <alias name='sata0'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x1f' function='0x2'/> </controller> <controller type='pci' index='0' model='pcie-root'> <alias name='pcie.0'/> </controller> <controller type='pci' index='1' model='dmi-to-pci-bridge'> <alias name='pci.1'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x1e' function='0x0'/> </controller> <controller type='pci' index='2' model='pci-bridge'> <alias name='pci.2'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x01' slot='0x01' function='0x0'/> </controller> <interface type='bridge'> <mac address='52:54:00:00:20:20'/> <source bridge='br0'/> <target dev='vnet1'/> <model type='e1000-82545em'/> <alias name='net0'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x02' slot='0x03' function='0x0'/> </interface> <input type='mouse' bus='ps2'/> <input type='keyboard' bus='ps2'/> <graphics type='vnc' port='5901' autoport='yes' websocket='5701' listen='0.0.0.0'> <listen type='address' address='0.0.0.0'/> </graphics> <video> <model type='vga' vram='16384' heads='1'/> <alias name='video0'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x00' slot='0x01' function='0x0'/> </video> <memballoon model='virtio'> <alias name='balloon0'/> <address type='pci' domain='0x0000' bus='0x02' slot='0x02' function='0x0'/> </memballoon> </devices> <seclabel type='none' model='none'/> <qemu:commandline> <qemu:arg value='-device'/> <qemu:arg value='usb-kbd'/> <qemu:arg value='-device'/> <qemu:arg value='usb-mouse'/> <qemu:arg value='-device'/> <qemu:arg value='isa-applesmc,osk=shhhhh '/> <qemu:arg value='-smbios'/> <qemu:arg value='type=2'/> <qemu:arg value='-device'/> <qemu:arg value='ide-drive,bus=ide.1,drive=MacDVD'/> <qemu:arg value='-drive'/> <qemu:arg value='id=MacDVD,if=none,snapshot=on,file=/mnt/extra/vm_tools/Yosemite.iso'/> </qemu:commandline> </domain>
  22. When the new version (1.5.4) of the PMS plugin came out, I got the notification on the page. When I tell it to update though, it just says "not installing the same plugin". Is there a different way to update it?
  23. I moved your post here, as a support issue with the Reiser file system. You only want to use the --rebuild-tree option if reiserfsck instructs you to. Start with the --check option, then follow any instructions given. For more info, please see Check Disk File systems. Thank you for both the advice and for moving the post to the correct forum - apologies for panic posting
