  1. EDIT: I was able to "fix" this by removing all traces of zoneminder form my server and reinstalling. I am having trouble with ZoneMinder. The container installs fine with no errors but when it is started I get this in the logs on the docker page. Current default time zone: 'America/New_York' Local time is now: Mon Oct 26 10:59:38 EDT 2015. 2. Skyhawk, I simply knew nothing about the other program, and also I wanted to keep some of that processing off my unRAID machine since it isn't the most powerful. Maybe I will put it on and test it out when I have time. dgaschk, your suggestion worked for me, thank you.
  3. I am running unRAID Pro 6.0-beta14b on one machine and sickbeard on a different machine running Windows 7. I was previously running the free version of unRAID which, I believe, was 5.02 and had no issues. Upon upgrade, my instance of sickbeard, running as administrator, is unable to write to my unRAID machine. When it processes a file, I get the error "Unable to create the show directory." Two things, the directory has already been created when I was using the older version of unRAID, and two, I am able to drag or copy/paste a file from my Windows machine directly to unRAID. I assume my issue is with permissions, but I really don't know enough about them to repair this myself. Thank you.
  4. Have you solved this? Wondering if you set your windows machine to backup to a folder on your unraid machine? I am unsure as to what the settings should look like and why someone would even need the docker when they could just map a folder. What am I missing?
  5. I am a little confused by something super basic. I have the docker installed and /data set to /mnt/user/xxx/CrashPlan, the client app installed on my mac and the ui.properties on my mac pointing to my unraid IP with the comments on the IP and the port removed. What is the proper setting on my mac app? Am I looking at the folder option in the mac app under Backup tab and pointing to the xxx/CrashPlan folder under the select a directory option or something else? Thanks.
  6. Awesome, approximately 10k hours on the drives, 0 errors on WD Red 3Tb drives. One more question, is there an unmenu/management extension/docker for unraid 6, or are all the features built into to Main page that I just got the hour usage from?
  7. Thanks for the input. How do I check my current drive hours? I am on 6b14
  8. I just bought a pro license and am upgrading my system to include an ssd cache drive and some added storage. My current system has three, 3TB WD Red drives in it right now. 1 Parity and 2 storage drives. I would like to purchase two, 4TB drives, one to upgrade the parity drive and one to add into service along side the current 3TB parity drive. I use my system as a plex media server as well as backup for the computers in my household and will soon be running OwnCloud. Would it behoove me to start using WD Pro Red drives, regular Red, or some other drive? While cost is of some concern, I am more concerned with my data. Thank you
  9. Would someone please weigh in on these two options with their own personal thoughts and how they use one or the other/both in day to day activities? I want to make sure that I understand some of the basic uses and benefits of each before I decide to install one, or both, and how I would use them day to day. The most basic is that dropbox is on dropbox servers which is a security liability to some degree. Most applications have dropbox directly built in, yet owncloud has WebDAV support, which most applications support as well. Thanks.
  10. Thank you, I will try this when I can move a computer capable of speed testing to that location. I am using a raspberry pi and a apple tv 3 with the trailers hack on it, and neither are capable of playing certain movies. My i7 rig which is connected to the same gigabit switch can play them no problem so I don't know if it is the location with the pi and apple tv or if it is the switch/cable in that location. Speed test between the unraid tower and my i7 computer is 40-45MB per second on a 1gig file which was monitored in the unraid Network performance tab.
  11. Nothing specific concerned me, but I am new to this so I was not sure if there was something wrong. I noticed when I boot the computer that there are a few errors that say things like "you should install zip" - I know that is vague because I do not remember the exact phrase. However, I do not see that error in the log I pasted. Is there another log file somewhere? I would like to test my connection speed. I tried installing Iperf through the package installer but it does not seem to exist anymore. Is there another way to do this? Lastly, I have some issues with Plex buffering sometimes when streaming to devices. Do you happen to know how to check those logs to see if the issue is with memory, cpu, or with the device receiving the content? Thank you for the help.
  12. The BIOS update worked and my unraid server now sees all 4gb. I would like to clean up any of the errors in the log if there is anyone willing to help me out with it. Thank you.
  13. Yes, it is old, the newest BIOS update is from 2008. The board is here http://www.intel.com/p/en_US/support/highlights/dsktpboards/dg965ss I am in the process of updating it right now and will report back if it works or not.
  14. I am running unraid 5.0.5 and just installed 2 additional 1gb memory modules to get me up to 4gb but I am getting the following error WARNING: BIOS bug: CPU MTRRs don't cover all of memory, losing 704MB of RAM All modules are read in the BIOS as 1024, I have not tried updating the BIOS yet but will do some research to see if there is one for my board. What information should I post to try to identify the problem? Here is the sys log. In addition to the memory problem, if you see anything that will help me clean up my system I would appreciate it. Thank you. http://pastebin.com/55XEHGxG Thank you
