  1. A quick tweaking in the browser shows something like this: I like this better...
  2. Hopefully this will be an easy one. Can you reduce the space between icons in the Dashboard screen? Thre is too much space and when having a lot of dockers and VM's it splits into a second line. Many thanks. H.
  3. unRAID 6 surprises me all the time... wow. Thanks!
  4. Trying to figure out what can do with the "Extra Parameters" field in Advanced Settings on Docker templates. For example, I would like to be able to install Midnight Commander to someone elses container. Is this something I can specify here at time of creation? Thanks. H.
  5. I am testing with your Beardrage...
  6. Tears indeed... The main stuff I do not want to re-do, is like in Sickbeard, to re-add all my shows... and the settings... although settings is not that bad to redo. In CP, the same thing, adding all my wanted movies. Any ideas? Thank you.
  7. Thank you guys... great help... I am doing my testing...
  8. OK... a follow up... Is there a reason why the three big ones Sab, SB, and CP are separate Dockers and not on a single combined docker? Is there an advantage/disadvantage to this? This question probably goes to the root basics of Docker. I know some may use Sickrage over SB, Sonarr or NZBGet over Sab... and I can see why a combo Docker would not be practical for people who have varied preferences. Also, Binhex has template repos for them, as well as gfjardim.... are differences or recommendations which ones to use?
  9. I was dreading this.... I will give them a try... slowly... hopefully I can reuse all the configs and settings from existing install... Thanks...
  10. I have been running the Sab, SB and CP plugins for years and years as plugins in unRAID. Thus, I am reluctant to "fix" something that is working. Are there any advantages of migrating from the plugins to using Dockers for them? Thanks, H.
  11. Love the Plugin.... Easy as can be... using it for first time to pre-clear a 4TB drive. I do have one enhancement suggestion: There is the drop-down list that lest you choose the different actions to perform (clear, test, ?, etc.). It would be very helpful to have a description that clearly states what each of these options do. When, why, and how you would use each of the options listed. This is more of a reference than a functional feature. It would really help the non-power-experts. Thanks for this!!
  12. pssst....I think this is posted in the wrong forum section.....
  13. Any chance getting a Docker template for this? I know I can use the plugin... but a central release for all would be nice.
  14. BTW, I just ordered a new drive so I can test it.... and add more storage... who doesn't need more storage?
  15. Thank you for this... long overdue. Its not often that I add new drives to my array... thus I have to -re-learn how to do it every time. The blond-pressure level goes up, trying to make sure I don't mess up. It looks like this will certainly ease things up.
  16. tell me more about butt photos. They are from CHBMB's wife, do you want me to send you copies?
  17. What would be IDEAL, is to setup in PS, 3 users belonging to following groups: administartor : root hernando: uploader guest: user The code needs to be tweaked to allow "uploaders" group to do everything admin, and NOT display the delete button. Someone with a little php know-how needs to look at the code.
  18. Did you guys read my post about a posisble workflow? Here is my dilemma... I may have folders in my big photo folder that are stuff I dont want on the PhotoShow. Boring stuff like work photos, etc. If I work backwards, and copy big folder from server to cache, I can then go in am=nd delete stuff I may not want. This will I assume delete in /Thumbs and /Pictures. But I have an rsync that syncs back from cache to big folder in array. In case of accidental deletion, hopefully I still have backup in server. There are forks to PS that puts a warning dialog when deleting something. I manually added that edit. I also found, where in the code the delete button is. I can comment that out after loading everything, and be safe that way. I guess my question is, if we set the /Pictures to read-only, and later you delete, does PS get messed up because it will try to erase from read-only? Also, there is NO WAY, to exclude folders like the wife butt photos.... after removing they should come back because it re-reads the folder.
  19. Couldn't you just map your original folder as read-only in the docker config? Problem solved n'est pas? Slapping my forehead.... I just spent half an hour figuring out how to edit the code of Shotwell, to disable that erase thing. BTW, I had to manually edit a file from the code of a Shotwell fork that fixes allowing users in "uploader" group to be able to upload. I am formulating a workflow for this. I will copy my nearly 180GB photo folder (probably in small chunks) to my cache drive in /mnt/user/appdata/shotwell/pictures . Let that build up. Then, I will give my wife and I "uploader" rights in Shotwell. We can upload photos on the web interface... I will teach her how to create folders and upload the files from her phone etc. into it. THEN, I will create an rsync task to synch from the Shotwell folder to my BIG photo folder in the array. Even if a mean hacker breaks in an erases all family photos, they are still backed up. Now if I only could figure out how to enable videos.... I already edited a bunch of .css files to get the visuals right in my book.
  20. Installed the latest, cannot get videos to show up. Avi files. ffmpeg is installed.
  21. I am liking Photoshow....! I am doing a test... there is a nasty "delete" thing on the side pop-out menu, that does not warn or anything and it will delete the original original files. Something to be very cautious about. I copied a couple folder to do a test... and discovered this.
  22. Photoshow looks promising... too bad about RAW... videos? Too much to wish for; but it does 80%. Looks like Docker is available... no template... ahemm... https://github.com/thibaud-rohmer/PhotoShow/tree/master/docker Mr. Sparkly already has this.... wow.
  23. Couple of Icons... Work for Shotwell or anything related: Fancy: http://i.imgur.com/cTr4hHY.png Simple: http://i.imgur.com/Btklk0R.png Off to check out Photoshow...
  24. Hi Guys, Just to chime in.... I think there are a couple of very different user expectations being discussed back and forth. Photo Gallery Some of us want to have some type of program that will take our phpto collection and create an easy way to browse and organize this. My thinking is that this would be a web page showing a bunch or galleries/albums/collections. This is something that Lychee seems designed to do, as well as the program mention in original post. Photo Management This is something more like a desktop app where one can "browse" images, tag, rate, convert, enhance, export, upload, etc. IMHO there is nothing better than Adobe Lightroom for this. Its a way to organize images and be able to "manage" the collection... something a person who makes a living taking pictures would use (or serious shutterbugs - like I can be at times). Personally what I am looking for is the the first option. I have a chunk of images that are just sitting there, unused and unseen. I want my family to be able to see them, refer to them, download them, etc. To basically act as the modern version of the Photo Albums before digital photography. If it has a way to easily add new stuff, it would be awesome. I know there is instagram, facebook, picassa and all the other stuff... but that is sitting somewhere out there in the ether. I have desktop computers and can install fancy software if I want to go for option 2. On this I agree with Trurl (after I initially disagreed with him)... Shotwell, on their web site, seems to have a nice enough icon... I will take a peek at the one Sparkly used and see if I can enhance it. Stay tuned.
  25. Sorry got busy with life stuff... when I get to office I'll read since my review of Lychee and iconize anything....
