Hi, I was looking around the wireguard capabilities (other post) and in the meanwhile i'm looking around trying to understand which commercial provider is the best one, evaluating also the compatibility with the built-in client or any docker container acting as man in the middle. I saw that some providers implemented their own privacy layer due to wireguard protocol specifications, but I'm disoriented. Do you have any suggestion?

Hello, maybe my question is a stupid one but I got confused. My goal is to use a VPN commercial service to protect the outgoing traffic of some of my docker containers. I can't understand if the best way to accomplish it is using the built-in wireguard functions or use a docker container and route the traffic through it. Thank you in advance.

hello, i'm preparing a machine for one of my friend and i'm trying to use VMs and dockers to concentrate all the functions in the same box.... HW Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-Z270-HD3P LGA1151 ATX CPU: Intel Core i5-7600K 3.8GHz 6MB VGA: Asus GeForce GT 1030 GT1030-SL-2G-BR 2GB OS Unraid 6.3.5 Config i set in the bios the primary video output to the integrated intel, to be sure that i don't have to dump the bios and put the tag in the xml as i read in other articles. i tried first of all to use the embedded openelec vm templace with the GPU in passthrough mode but i think that the embedded version is not compatible with my hardware (nvidia pascal architecture not supported). Then i tried to use the custom template (install .img file as primary disk) to install openelec (And also libreelec) from scratch but i got the same video card issue. I created a new unbutu machine and i installed lubuntu 16.04 LTS with the latest version of the nvidia driver (adding the video repo) but i got some strange issues: kodi was not able to play the video in the correct way (after some seconds, the video was freezing but kodi was not crashed, the play bar was proceeding...), gnome player was able to play the video without issues... the setup is a work in progress, maybe i'm taking the wrong approach, i read several topics but i'm not able to understand where is the mistake.

is it possible that i'm not able to use my new Nvidia GTX 1030 due to a limitation of openelec (nvidia drivers not up-to-date)?

same situation in my side. i've also tried to uninstall the prevision version deleteting the container and the image, remove the docker datas and try to start a clean install. same problems

i don't remember which cpu i've installed, maybe a E3-1240. 16 gb ram ecc ;-) so for you it's better to installa esxi and passthru the lsi to a vm and install unraid? i'm in test and i'm considering if it's enough to use the integrated XEN or KVM....

Regardless of IT or IR, I'd strongly recommend to flash the latest version (19) firmware. It does solve a problem applicable to this mobo. thank you so much doron. i will flash it. any other tips regarding this mobo? it's fantastic

i've the same motherboard, i'm testing unraid with 2 x 2tb hdd. is it reccomended to flash the it firmware or i can leave the stock one?
