Had the following issue on rc-4 (didn't try any of the previous 6.80rc builds): Can't run any .py or .sh script (didn't try an executable) on the boot flash. Couldn't execute the go script, or any of my own scripts. They all worked again immediately as soon as I reverted to 6.7.3rc4. If you really need diags - I'll go back to 6.80rc4 to run them, but there was nothing helpful in the logs that I could see, and the permissions on all the folder and files looked correct.

Just curious if I'm the only one who can't get Crashplan to restore a file larger than about 900 MB. I've worked with Crashplan, and they've been no help in resolving the issue. It constantly tries to download the file, but then it stops, and says destination unavailable. I'm about to cancel my crashplan subscription, since if I can't restore anything, it's not very helpful. I've also tried restoring using Windows, and get the same problem....

Ah darn- I'm embarrassed...... I didn't expect them to come back in a wierd order like that (if they were on a single drive - they wouldn't have). Thanks for the tip.....

Very strange problem: ls -l shows all files - note 3e06 find . -type f find . -name "*.mkv" do not see some of the files. All of these files are present on disk1. Any idea why this would happen - it kind of blows up half my scripting if 'find' doesn't work properly... The only odd thing were the "missing files" were first on /mnt/disk8/temp/Star Trek TOS/ (where temp isn't really a shared - it's just a folder I made at some point in the past). I moved the files to disk12 (which is in the array, but is newly added - other files on disk12 in this share ("TV") show up in this share just fine). I thought there might be some issue when the files didn't show up, so I moved them over to disk1, which is where the other files are. Didn't help. That wasn't my issue - I understand that - what I don't understand is why it says the port is not available or changed, when it is available.

I'm getting: Docker Application Sonarr_lnxio, Container Port 8989 not found or changed on installed application Docker Application Sonarr_lnxio is currently set up to run in host mode Docker Application NZBGet_lnxio, Container Port 6789 not found or changed on installed application Docker Application NZBGet_lnxio is currently set up to run in host mode Docker Application binhex-couchpotato, Container Port 5050 not found or changed on installed application Docker Application binhex-couchpotato is currently set up to run in host mode If I change to Bridge mode, both warnings go away, but the fact is, in host mode, the port works correctly - I use <address>:5050 on my local net to get to couchpotato and it works fine. Not a big deal, but seems kind of wierd. (version 2017.04.14)

Just to kind of close this thread out - I reformatted my cache drive as XFS and have had no trouble whatsoever. Once I update to 6.2 (soon), I'll try btrfs again and see how it plays.

Two other things to try (I had this happen to me) - 1) turn off your firewall - for me, BitDefender doesn't handle Samba properly - I had to turn off it's firewall, and turn on Windows Firewall. 2) Do a map network drive like this: \\192.168.1.8\Movies - for me, even though I couldn't "browse" the volumes, I could directly mount them by IP address and share name.....

The other thing of note that happened around the same time frame is that the power connector for 2 of the disk drives came undone - the array got read errors and took the 2 drives out of service. I shut down the array, figured out the power issue - fixed it, and rebooted. At that time, is when the docker images went away. The 2 disks, however, were part of the array, not the ssd cache drive where docker.img was located...... I do have the "defective" image still, if a hex dump (or binary chunk) of a piece of it would help - it's 42 GB, so obviously, we won't be sharing the whole file

Gauges attached

Can't imagine what - there's actually not much to setting up dockers..... Here's my docker setup and the cadvisor status page (sorted by virtual memory usage) - Only thing I wonder about is the memory gauge, but it seems like docker is geared to set it up that way - when I had 12 GB of memory - the gauge looked the same as now, when I have 24 GB of memory... (gauges in subsequent post due to size).

Wow - this forum thing needs work - I tried to attach .log files, which it won't allow, and it totally blew away all my typing.... OK - attached are 2 log files of the ssh session when it happened. logged into ssh and tried to determine why it wouldn't stop. Some of the pertinent info: Automatically protect set to enabled Exluded folders: Backups, Trash, movie_torrent, tv_torrent. <== All but Trash are defined to be ONLY on /mnt/disk7....
