  1. Got it. Will update manually. I am also taking away that I need to keep the auto-updates inside the dockers disabled (e.g., Sonarr offers). Otherwise, I am calling for trouble with the docker I assume?
  2. Thanks, that's quite of an issue... Any pointers on the first two issues? And maybe also any thoughts whether there is a tool around that allows me to check whether port forwarding is even possible with my ISP (and if so what ports).
  3. Thanks for developing this docker. I am on Unraid 6.4.0_rc14. Not fully clear to me from reading this thread whether this is making things easier with letsecrypt or more difficult. I have not succeeded yet to set up the docker. Few issues: * Setting the https port in docker settings to 443 does not work (related to 6.4?). Also tried 445, which also doesn't work (though not taken by Unraid). I tried 444, which happens to work. Would love to understand though why 443 and 445 are not working * I cannot access the UI. Log shows me two error message: certbot: error: argument --cert-path: No such file or directory Failed authorization procedure. myname.duckdns.org (tls-sni-01): urn:acme:error:connection :: The server could not connect to the client to verify the domain :: Timeout [s6-finish] sending all processes the KILL signal and exiting. I have not forwarded any ports in my router yet, so this may be related? Also, I am not sure whether I can even forward ports in my router as my IPS may restrict this?
  4. Sorry, not the OP, but the third post. See above the comment on self-updating. Is this possible now? Same question for other dockers.
  5. Thanks for the development. I started using it and it is very good. I have two questions related to updating the docker: 1) I am only using it for a short time and the docker frequently can be updated. This is weird as sabnzbd only has stable updates once every few months. Am I accidentally using nightly builds? 2) The OP says that an auto-update function exists. How can this be enabled and is it recommended to do so?
  6. First of all big thanks to @Fma965 for the great write-up. This is very heplful. As a first step I'd just like to get Nextcloud to work, but I like to have the options of adding sabnzbd (not specified in write-up?) and other dockers at later stage. Unfortunately, I am failing with some of the very basic, so will need some advice: 1) I cannot specify port 443 as it is used by something else. I don't know by what and "deployed host ports" within the docker settings does not show any docker using 443. Any idea how to find out what is using this port? 2) After setting up the docker, I cannot access unraid with my-IP:81 from my home networK. Any idea why not working. Related to (1)? Below some error messages from the log: certbot: error: argument --cert-path: No such file or directory Failed authorization procedure. myname.duckdns.org (tls-sni-01): urn:acme:error:connection :: The server could not connect to the client to verify the domain :: Connection refused 3) I have not forwarded the ports in my router yet. I have not tried in recent times, but I am not sure whether my ISP allows me to forward ports 443. If so, can I use a different port? Is there some app for Unraid or others that allows me to learn what ports can be forwarded and which ones are blocked by my ISP? 4) I actually "own" a domain and may want to use this eventually. Do I still need duckerdns in this case or how would I set it up directly? It is a domain hosted by strato.de 5) Any reason why sabnzbd is not part of the tutorial? More difficult to do or not suggested for security? 6) This thread includes something alarming. I hadn't thought about what I am doing with reverse proxy would impact what I do in my home network. Can required changes for the respective dockers to still work in the home network after setting up reverse proxies be added to the tutorial? Thanks again for your help!
  7. I finally succeeded to delete all the files. So, things should be good now. Unfortunately, my brand new parity disk now shows some errors. Any insights from the log whether these are HW errors or just cabling? tower-diagnostics-20171122-2026.zip
  8. I followed his video, but didn't get it to work. I have bought a second GPU and now things mostly work. Unfortunately, I have still not succeeded to use gamestream to play games. Any help much appreciated:
  9. Not sure what I did differently, but I succeeded to create the docker. However, it went quite quickly, so there is no way that the 5GB has been downloaded yet. The good news though is that the docker itself is installed and completed. A few things that may be the root cause: * Do I need to add "/import" as path. The standard setting page only asks for input for "/config" and "/data". The openeing post refers to two paths and not clear which ones it means * Is the 18/05/2017 update (remove config and data) also required for newly created dockers? I haven't done this yet * Also haven't changed the IP (edit 04/03/2017) yet, but assume this should also come after creating the docker?
  10. I am giving it a try with the Docker. As it says in the OP, the install looks "stuck". I continue to let it run over-night, but a few things make me suspicious that this is not working. * The initial setup screen did not include \import. I manually added it as third host in the docker setup. Also changed the default for \config * Image pull does not appear to complete: "IMAGE ID [cad5fcb02685]: Pulling fs layer. Downloading 11% of 113 MB" over several hours * Some weird looking and potentially related messages in the log: Nov 18 18:28:06 Tower nginx: 2017/11/18 18:28:06 [error] 8216#8216: *180725 upstream timed out (110: Connection timed out) while reading upstream, client: 192.168.11.24, server: , request: "POST /Apps/AddContainer?xmlTemplate=default:/tmp/community.applications/tempFiles/templates-community-apps/79.xml HTTP/1.1", upstream: "fastcgi://unix:/var/run/php5-fpm.sock:", host: "192.168.11.120", referrer: "http://192.168.11.120/Apps/AddContainer?xmlTemplate=default:/tmp/community.applications/tempFiles/templates-community-apps/79.xml" Nov 18 19:58:09 Tower sshd[24712]: Accepted none for root from 192.168.11.24 port 53477 ssh2
  11. Thanks. Unfortunately Readymedia (on binhex) is not state of the art. Would it be possible to somehow install MiniM directly? Or other workaround? http://minimserver.com/downloads/index.html
  12. Is there a docker that turns Unraid into an DLNA server. I am currently using MiniM for Win10, but would love to move it to Unraid natively. Any advice?
  13. thanks. sounds very good. i’ll give it a shot to install the docker. trying to understand what gets people excited about dockers. after the initial pull from mbz, how much bandwidth does the hourly live pull require? want to make sure that bandwidth use is reasonable. better to put the pulled image on the cache disk or inside the array? I’ve been looking for an alternative to picard before as it feel development is stalling and some bugs not being ironed out. never heard of beets and will definitely look into it. i have three a bit more unusual requirements for music tagging, which picard can do. do you know whether beets can * select a specific release from mbz. i don’t want an auto-select and i don’t like to use anything else than mbz. i really like this part of picard * can i manually add albumart for albums that don’t have anything on mbz? * anything about artist art (picard doesn’t have this either) * support for artists and albumartists tags (pls note the “s”) * what about user scripts (e.g., i have a script changing the albumartist to “soundtrack” for album of release type soundtrack looking forward to replies Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  14. is there even the possibility that the disk is fine and the bad sectors were mis-reported? maybe because of the many small files with xfs issue? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  15. Thanks for creating this docker. I understand that this is very helpful when using headphones. I am NOT a user of headphones. Is there still a use case for this docker? Does this pull a complete local image of the database? How often does this get updated for changes / new additions? Could one use case be that this will allow a much faster use of Picard when adding a very large number of albums?
  16. Got it. Let me go the route with NTFS to "fix" the specific issue. Almost all of my files are rather large files, so this issue hopefully will not replicate. Only exception may be my itunes library with many music files. So, hopefully the disk with my itunes library does not get corrupted. This will be too large though to move outside the array (would like to keep UDs to below 1TB). One related question, which may be obvious. What to do with my "old" disk that had shown the 128 errors. Can I still use it by marking these sectors? Or is it a lost disk and I'll need to throw it away / recycle it?
  17. The linked post does not allow to use LE without passing through a GPU. The unique advantage of the image in this thread that it works without a GPU. However, it seems that it may not have been updated to the latest LE 8.2
  18. mmh... one more idea. i create an UD formatted as ntfs. i then move with “mv -r” from array disk to ntfs. then i delete the files from the ntfs UD. that’s the only working way to get rid of these files elegantly? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  19. in general, maybe the copy process is better outside the array? in other words, i could copy from UD1 (old) to UD2 (new). then add UD2 to array and rebuild? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  20. thanks. so, the answer is that XFS is just not designed for small fires and that’s not unexpected behavior? i now firstly want to delete the files from the “new” disk. not even move them, but just delete. “rm -r” freezes things. i’m sure small batches will work, but this will take forever until i have deleted everything. any other idea how to wipe this folds from the new disk? i could remove it from the array? without parity, it may be easier to delete things? 21. Thanks. This is turning into a total nightmare. I think I now understand the complication. This disk has many (!) very small files. Seems something that Unraid doesn't really like to be moved in or out of the array. I had these issues before. The situation is now that I have copied the initial 400GB form the 6TB disk to the array. I was now trying to delete them again from the array disk. When deleting them, Unraid crashes (becomes non responsive, webui no longer shows up, VM no longer shows disk size and cannot be accessed anymore). Only change is to detach Unraid from power and restart. I remember that I read this somewhere that Unraid has issues with transfer of large amount of very small files. Any thoughts whether there had been some fix or work-around? I tried both MC, RM and also just delete from the VM. All with same outcome. Please note that this is now on a brand-new disk that is part of the array. I still need to fix my original problem of recovering the "old" disk, but feels that I need to fix the array issue first.
  22. I have a keyboard and mouse connected to USB ports. Would love to use the libvirt plugin to pass it through my VM. Keyboard works. Mouse does not. Error message below: error: Failed to attach device from /tmp/libvirthotplugusb.xml error: internal error: unable to execute QEMU command 'device_add': failed to open host usb device 2:2 Any thoughts?
  23. Thanks for your help. Please see below requested information. https://pastebin.com/YpWmqJra In the meantime, I have succeeded to passthrough the GPU with a second Win10 VM with an OVMF bios. I can still not pass it through to my first WIn10 VM with Seabios. I'd still like to use the first VM with Seabios, so your help would still be much appreciated if you can see antyhing that prevents the Seabios VM to work? On separate note, I cannot run both of my Win10 VMs in parallel over RDC. Maybe you have some thoughts? And my ultimate objective of all of above is to get Gamestream to work. Even with the OVMF VM (where passthrough works), I cannot get it to work. I saw in another thread that you succeeded to get it running? Is this still the case and any advice for me? Big thanks again for all your help in the forum and also your youtube channel, which is very well done!
  24. Ok, thanks a lot for your quick help. Working again. Is there some way to protect /backup the dockers? It took quite a bit to set them up and configure and now I need to go through all again.
  25. That's where it is now? Change to a different usb port? I have already rebooted, but didn't help.
