  1. One of my disks just disabled. Not clear to me whether this is an actual HD error or "just" again cabling (which I used to have historically quite a bit). The issue appears to be new / different this time though. I cannot run a SMART test as it says that the disk needs to spin up. Log pre-restart below tower-diagnostics-20180210-0009.zip
  2. I succeeded to get Moonlight running from my IOS device. Still not succeeded to get it running from my Raspberry 2 (using retropie). @gridrunner, you give me hope that there must be a way as you indicate above that it works with your setup. Let me share some more context on my setup below: Host / server Unraid 6.4.0 LAN setup VM with Windows 10 Pro with GPU passthrough GTX1050 GFE with Geforce Driver 390.65 Headless setup, VM accessed via Teamviewer Clients 1) IOS with Moonlight app - working! 2) Retropie with LAN (on same network as Unraid) - not working, successfully paired with the VM, but cannot stream games. After selecting 720p-30fps, the screen turns dark for 1-2sec and then is back to the selection screen. Other info: Raspberry 2 with Retropie 4.3 with XBOX bluetooth controller (working with retro games), moonlight installed and paired with VM via script (https://github.com/TechWizTime/moonlight-retropie) Very much appreciate your help. Would really love to find a way to get gaming in the living with a thin RPi client working. Thanks in advance!
  3. I bought a headless dongle, but it appears not to be working yet. Do I need to install / set up the dongle?
  4. Here we go: root@localhost:# /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.docker.manager/scripts/docker run -d --name="musicbrainz" --net="bridge" -e TZ="Asia/Shanghai" -e HOST_OS="unRAID" -e "BRAINZCODE"="REMOVED" -e "PGID"="100" -e "PUID"="99" -p 5000:5000/tcp -v "/mnt/user/MBZ/data/":"/data":rw -v "/mnt/cache/Docker/musicbrainz/config":"/config":rw linuxserver/musicbrainz REMOVED The command finished successfully!
  5. I have tried two more times and end up with the same issue. Where can I find the docker run command?
  6. so i need minim watch to use the docker as i otherwise can not agree with the gt&c Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
  7. Thanks. I haven't reached the stage yet to start it, but was only installing the actual docker. Unless it auto-started? Will check the logs on the weekend. How to access minimwatch and where can I accept the T&C?
  8. Let me get back to you with the docker run in a few days (away for the next few days). The error message from the log is shown below. It shows up in thousands of lines, so anything older is wiped out and no longer visible. "postgres: could not access the server configuration file. "/config/postgresql.conf": No such file or directory"
  9. Getting an error message in the log and still no file in the data folder. However, I think this is going in the right direction as there is at least some change from before. Error message from log is below: "postgres: could not access the server configuration file. "/config/postgresql.conf": No such file or directory" Any thoughts appreciated. Thanks!
  10. Fingers crossed. It is running now for many hours. One thing I noticed is that the data folder is still completely empty. So, I don't know where it is downloading to. Is this expected behavior after 8+ hours? Anyhow, I'll let it run for a few more hours/days. Let's see...
  11. Thanks for your quick reply. I have followed instructions and download has started. Unfortunately, it doesn't complete and shows: Error: unauthorized: authentication required
  12. Thanks, will give it a try. Not sure what logs exist. The one I am looking at is the one that I can access in Unraid UI in the dockers tab. Next to each docker on the right end, there is an icon that allows me to access a log file. While it is running (before it turns blank), it looks as below: ErrorWarningSystemArrayLogin [s6-init] making user provided files available at /var/run/s6/etc...exited 0.[s6-init] ensuring user provided files have correct perms...exited 0.[fix-attrs.d] applying ownership & permissions fixes...[fix-attrs.d] done.[cont-init.d] executing container initialization scripts...[cont-init.d] 10-adduser: executing...-------------------------------------_ _ _| |___| (_) ___| / __| | |/ _ \| \__ \ | | (_) ||_|___/ |_|\___/|_|Brought to you by linuxserver.ioWe gratefully accept donations at:https://www.linuxserver.io/donations/-------------------------------------GID/UID-------------------------------------User uid: 99User gid: 100-------------------------------------[cont-init.d] 10-adduser: exited 0.[cont-init.d] 20-brainzcode: executing...[cont-init.d] 20-brainzcode: exited 0.[cont-init.d] 30-initialise-database: executing...fetching latest dump from musicbrainz, if this section fails try again later as musicbrainz dump may not be fully uploadedto their site% Total % Received % Xferd Average Speed Time Time Time CurrentDload Upload Total Spent Left Speed
  13. I tried to more time and let it run each for 24 hours to be on the safe side. I have a suspicion though what is not working out. Let me recap what I have done and appreciate your help on trouble-shooting: 1) Template: added Metabrainz key, set /mnt/cache/Docker/musicbrainz/data, set /mnt/cache/Docker/musicbrainz; apply, download successsfuly, docker runs 2) I see in the "log" that something is happening. After some patient wait (24 hours or so), the log turns "empty". I.e., I only see blank log page besides the header: ErrorWarningSystemArrayLogin 3) I have a suspicion what is going wrong. Either my docker image or my cache disk may be full? Actually, I can tell from the Unraid GUI that I still have 10GB free space on my cache disk, but maybe there is some minimum requirement? Or does Musicbrainz save the image inside the docker image? It should also have 4GB free, but you never know how this is allocated and what are requirements to be empty? Any thoughts whether this could be related to this? Or any other idea?
  14. Wow, cool, you rock! This is great! Just made an attempt to install the new fork "fresh". Unfortunately, not successful. Do I need to manually set the host ports 1 and 2 and the host path. I don't mean the content of it, but the actual "rows"/"fields" don't show in the template? Also, your screenshot shows the network type as host and I assume I can set it to bridge instead?
  15. Any thoughts on whether it is possible to update Minimserver from within the docker? Or other updates for a more up to date version?
  16. Parity build has been completed. So, this confirms that my M1015 controller does not work properly with WD 10TB drives. Not a big deal, but worth sharing back and maybe there will eventually a FW update fixing this? Is it safe to say that this is not an Unraid, but a controller issue? With regards to the slow speed, I will probably go the way to remove one of my GPUs. I will need to find a way to pass-through my GPU to a VM from primary slot, which I hadn't succeeded in the past. I'll give it another try though and if this succeeds, I'll remove my second GPU and put my controller back to higher speeds.
  17. Got it, thanks. Does my GPU benefit from the "faster" lane or could I swap my GPU with the controller card? It is still building the parity and I am confident it now completes, but will take some days at 50 MB/s. My sense is that my WD 10TB is not fully compatible with my M1015 and the speed decrease is caused by the change in the lange. Fingers crossed that it completes and confirms this assessment.
  18. Got it, this is helpful. So, UPS may not be the silver bullet. I realized that the reason for the decline in speed may be completely unrelated. I actually added a second GPU and thus had to move the controller card to a different slot. Potentially, the "new" slot is slower. Would also explain why it is exactly half of the transfer speed. Besides building the parity, how does this impact once the parity is built? I could consider getting rid of one GPU as I don't think my mobo has a third fast slot available. I have an ASUS X299-A (https://www.asus.com/de/Motherboards/PRIME-X299-A/). Although looking at the screenshot on the link, maybe there is? I also suspect that this is unrelated to my drive errors, but let me report back on this once the parity is built (or not built). Thanks again for all the help from this forum.
  19. Yes, MB/s. No, not an extra disk though the size of the disk has changed (i.e., 6TB->10TB). Is there any indication from the log what could be the reason for the slower speed. Rebuild will still be running for the next 2 days, but I am confident that it will finish this time as the parity is now on the on-board controller.
  20. One more observation. Parity build has previously running with 100-120k/sec. Since adding a 10TB parity, the build is running at only 50k/sec. Is this expected behavior or indication that something wen south? I am currently running the parity build with the 10TB connected to the on-board controller. Should know in around 24-48 hours whether this will complete. I can already confirm now that it also only running at 50k/sec.
  21. I will give it a try and report back. I am near certain that the disk will not fail on the on-board controller card, but this would not be really solving my issue :-( I had alrady replaced the controller card before, so the card per se should not be the issue. Also changed cabling. I am running out of options what I can still do to get it to work. The "fix common problems" app quite often complains about my restart/shutdowns not being "clean" and suggest an UPS. I could give this a try, but somehow doubt this is the issue as the on-board disks are never impacted. Unless power shortage impacts the controller card somehow more?
  22. True, I forgot. I am quite sure that it will work once swapping the disk to the on-board controller. I never had any disk failing on on-board and failures on the raid controller happen quite frequently. However, I never had a disk systematically failing every single time. So, there is something worse and wrong here since I am trying to use the 10TB disk for parity. Are you suspecting that the controller cannot handle that much data volume?
  23. Thanks. The extended SMART test completed without any error messages. Unfortunately, the parity always fails to build. I am now tried 4 times or so and each times it does not work. Could it be that Unraid does not support 10TB parity disks yet? I am attaching another diagnostic log. tower-diagnostics-20180109-0115.zip
  24. I have been using sabnzbd docker for a while and it is working well. Big thanks for the development! I have assigned the sabnzbd a dedicated IP separate from the docker. I had anticipated that there may be some issues related to folder mappings to the unraid raid (which now is on a different IP) and also about the connectivity with Radarr/Sonarr. However, this does not appear to be the case and things are working. Do I still need to anticipate any issues or does this magically work? If so, I am curious why mapping and connectivity still work now?
  25. That's great. Can you elaborate how to do it? Not just download and install on-top?
