[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
I've installed the Plex docker a few months ago and everything is working very well. Big thanks! So far, I have only used it to play direct, but never used the transcoding function. I now tried it, but - much top my surprise - it is not working. I am getting the following error message on IOS and TVOS Plex apps: "Playback was terminated by the server. Conversino failed. The transcoder exited due to an error". Container and host paths are both set to "/transcode", which I believe how it was by default. Could this be the issue? I am sure I am missing something very obvious here... Let me know if any debug log is helpful and happy to provide. Thanks in advance for your help!

**VIDEO GUIDE** How to Install MacOS Mojave or High Sierra as a VM
Anyone tried to install MacOS directy rather than as a vdisk?

**VIDEO GUIDE** How to Install MacOS Mojave or High Sierra as a VM
I hope nobody complains about cross-posting. I am very eager to run a High Sierra Hackintosh directly on a partition of an NVME disk (instead of the vdisk.img). Some context here that indicates that this may even be feasible without Clover. Has anyone tried this and can share whether this is working?

How-To: Shrinking Docker Image
Great, thanks, I successfully shrank the image. Indeed worked very easily by deleting and new creating.

How-To: Shrinking Docker Image
Can you explain a bit more what I'll need to do. What about all my docker settings? Do I need to re-do all of them. It took me ages to configure musicbrainz docker et al. Will this be impacted?

**VIDEO GUIDE** How to Install MacOS Mojave or High Sierra as a VM
I have some issues yet again with my MacOS VM. It used to work. After recent OS update, I got stuck at a loading screen (Apple symbol with loading bar, never ending). After restarting Unraid, the complete MacOS VM disappeared from the VM tab, which I'd assume is due to some corruption. I recreated the VM and pointed to the existing iso file. This gets it back to boot, but still not fully functioning. I end up in a loop going back to the Clover starting screen. I checked the log and find the error message below. Any thoughts? 2018-05-13T00:26:26.703819Z qemu-system-x86_64: vfio: Cannot reset device 0000:00:1f.3, no available reset mechanism. 2018-05-13T00:26:33.618232Z qemu-system-x86_64: terminating on signal 15 from pid 8049 (/usr/sbin/libvirtd) 2018-05-13 00:26:34.418+0000: shutting down, reason=destroyed

[GUIDE] Fix Nvidia Code 43 Issue on Nvidia GPU
I changed the GPU (from 1050 to 1060) and now it seems to work with the newly dumped dumped vbios. Even left hyper-v enabled.

Any thoughts on the "blacklisting of open source drivers"? Would love to use just one GPU to free up one slot, but struggle to get the GPU to work in the primary slot (error 43).- [GUIDE] Fix Nvidia Code 43 Issue on Nvidia GPU
Thanks for your help. His videos are indeed fantastic and I have watched many of them for many different Unraid things. Very well done! I watched the second video twice again, but didn't find any reference to blacklisting or opensource drivers. You're sure that this has been in this videos?- [GUIDE] Fix Nvidia Code 43 Issue on Nvidia GPU
I also face the infamous error 43 for my primary GPU. Interesting enough, it is working well for my secondary card. I am looking for a solution as I'd like to remove my secondary GPU from my server to free up a slot. I'd like to look into both solutions shared here. Two questions: 1) Bios dump: can you @Warrentheo help elaborate please? How to blacklist opensource drivers (which menu, which drivers)? How to pass the device ID to the vfio pci driver? I have successfully dumped the bios, but still seeing error 43. 2) Advanced option: does this require me to build a new VM? I have two existing WIn10 VMs and I'd prefer not to create a new one. Possible?- VIDEO GUIDE***How to pass through an NVIDIA GPU as primary or only gpu in unRAID
I’m also stuck with error 43. Whats really weird is that i can actually pass-through my primary nvidia to the win10 vm. i didn’t do the bios dump and i don’t have on-board gpu. so, i’m supposed to get the “black screen” (and did so in the past). now, i can actually pass through my only gpu. is “error 43” the new “black screen”? any help appreciated!- **VIDEO GUIDE** How to Install MacOS Mojave or High Sierra as a VM
I haven't thought of an USB to audio adapter, which indeed may be the easiest solution. Did you have any driver issues or did it just work? I also just stumbled over a thread that there is a work-around to passthrough my on-board audio. Is this recommended and any consequences? (bottom of the linked thread)- **VIDEO GUIDE** How to Install MacOS Mojave or High Sierra as a VM
I'm planning to make a new attempt with building a High Sierra machine this weekend. I may not passthrough the GPU. While I understand this is possible, I also noticed that updates can break things or require reconfigurations (latest when the next OS beyond High Sierra will be out). I am fine using VNC. However, I'd like to passthrough the audio card. As it is not possible to passthrough the on-board audio card, would it be possible to passthrough the audio from my GPU (but not the video). Does this make sense and is feasible?- [Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
I have posted on Plex forums, but haven't seen any replies. Would be good to know from this group whether this is working for anyone on Unraid with usershare? It feels like a very basic, but extremely critical feature to me.- [Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
Ok, thanks, let me post on the Plex forum. You are right that it is not a container, but I anticipate it to be some form of docker/Unraid related issue (XFS disks, network drives, etc.). Given this is a common feature, I am hoping that some fellow Unraid user can confirm that it is not working?- [Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
I got the docker running. I think I have some issues with the update library feature. I would like to scan the new movie to the library when adding a new movie to the library folder. I have quite a few movies, so don't want to do a complete scan. Enable "run a partial scan when changed are detected" - no scan activity once new movie is added Enable both "run a partial scan when changes are detected" and "update my library automatically" - scan happens once new movie is added, but all movies are scanned again, not just the added folder Any thoughts?- **VIDEO GUIDE** How to Install MacOS Mojave or High Sierra as a VM
Any thoughts? is it so easy to “brick”? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk- **VIDEO GUIDE ** The best way to install and setup a Windows 10 VM as a daily driver or a Gaming VM PART 1 AND PART 2 **
I have installed following the guide. I installed Win 8.1 first and then upgraded to Win 10. Something went wrong with the graphics driver after update. Graphics resolution is low and cannot be changed. Do I need to reinstall drivers? If so, how to? I am not passing through any GPU and just use VNC.- **VIDEO GUIDE** How to Install MacOS Mojave or High Sierra as a VM
Thanks @planetwilson. I succeeded to delete the xmas theme. I mounted Clover and tried to change the config. I must have done something wrong, but unclear what it is. I believe the only thing I changed is to switch the them to Apple Logo, but maybe I did something else, which broke things? I still have the Clover menu, but can no longer boot into MacOS. After selecting "Boot MacOS from MacOS VM", I see a grey screen with grey Apple logo (not the usual black with white logo and status bar). No status bar and nothing is happening. I tried the other items in the Clover menu and all get me to this same menu. Not sure related, but below is the log: 2018-03-03 14:36:03.830+0000: Domain id=4 is tainted: custom-argv 2018-03-03 14:36:03.830+0000: Domain id=4 is tainted: host-cpu 2018-03-03T14:36:03.882000Z qemu-system-x86_64: -chardev pty,id=charserial0: char device redirected to /dev/pts/2 (label charserial0) Any thoughts appreciated!- [Support] Linuxserver.io - Radarr
Answering my own question: docker exec -it radarr /bin/bash Now all working again. And for future updates, I'll just follow the rule not to update unless something is broken.- [Support] Linuxserver.io - Radarr
Mmh.. Never executed anything in a container, but face same issue. Tried below, but didn't appear to work: root@Tower:~# docker exec radarr cd /opt/radarr && curl -o - http://download.sonarr.tv/hotfixes/regression-mono-5.10/NLog.dll.gz | gunzip -c > NLog.dll cd: usage: cd path prog...- Expand Docker img Size
Does this still work in the same way for 6.4.1? I disabled the docker and set to advanced view. But I don't see an option to change the size?- **VIDEO GUIDE** How to Install MacOS Mojave or High Sierra as a VM
I am using the MacOS VM now quite successfully for a while. It seems to me that things work flawless as long as I don't pass-through a GPU, which appears to be trickier. So, I just decided to work without to keep things more stable and not requiring too much tinkering along the way. There remains one thing that still feels a bit less elegant, which is around Clover. Maybe you'll have some thoughts whether this can be improved. Not mission critical, but would make it a nicer setup: 1) When I start the VM, I still have a Clover menu, which allows to start the VM or do a bunch of other things related to Clover. Is this menu necessary or could the VM be setup that it always boots directly in the VM? Basically same as with a Win VM, where there is also no additional setup menu when starting up the VM 2) I installed the Clover version that was released in December. While I like xmas, it is starting to irritate to me to be welcomed by a xmas tree everytime I start my Mac VM. If not possible to get fully rid of the menu (1), is there a possibility to change the picture? Thanks for your help! - [GUIDE] Fix Nvidia Code 43 Issue on Nvidia GPU
