  1. Thanks. This is very cool. Let me try the same. So, you basically don't do anything then unplugging your Unraid USB and then it boots directly into your VM? I'd love to do the same. A few questions: 1) If passing through an NVME (on mobo or in IDE card), do I still select SATA instead of Virtio? 2) If passing through a seconary disk as well, can this somehow be detected when booting directly into the primary bootdisk? 3) Any Windows registration issue as the hardware will be different when booting directly vs. booting as VM? 4) How did you succeed to disable your 2nd GPU? In the "normal" case, Windows would just have access to everything, right? I.e., all USB ports, all GPUs, etc. 5) Does this also work for a Mac VM? This is really cool and I had no idea that this would work.
  2. Fully understood. I'd also welcome a Mylar 3 docker (or seeing this one updated from 2 to 3), but of course understand time constraints and potentially limited interest.
  3. Any idea whether below USB dockingstation will be supported by Unraid? https://www.banggood.com/de/Orico-DS500U3-USB3_0-Multi-Bay-3_5inch-Hard-Drive-Enclosure-Magnetic-type-HDD-SSD-Docking-Station-p-1352253.html?gmcCountry=DE&currency=EUR&cur_warehouse=CN&createTmp=1&ID=47757&utm_source=googleshopping&utm_medium=cpc_bgs&utm_content=frank&utm_campaign=frank-ssc-de-css-all-19bf11&ad_id=380597671089&gclid=CjwKCAjwssD0BRBIEiwA-JP5rEB-uCJV9AqPiM8X6ajkRLRWW5p_kzAhAFeEn5Ub9o6kJeTvRgB_yhoCe6wQAvD_BwE Related question: do I need to format as XFS or does NTFS also work if I want to include the drives from the station into an array? I may do this without parity.
  4. I have a question: I'd love to set up my radarr docker with a dedicated IP. This seems to cause some issues connecting with my indexer? Anyone mastered to do this?
  5. The Disney list "only" has 500 movies?
  6. Very interesting lists! I won't add them given its size, but interesting to see some of the info. For example. I wasn't aware that Prime has more than twice as many movies compared to Netflix. Also, the lists are sortable, so I can see what movies and shows have recently been added. Unfortunately, there doesn't seem to be a feature that allows to only add "new additios" (date today and later) to sonarr / radarr. Maybe something to add to sonarr / radarr? Do you know whether there is an open feature request to add lists to sonarr?
  7. Unfortunately, @ziggie216 confirmed that Apple Photos has an issue with the VM: the "all photos" tab on top-right of the menu does not show up. The issue does not exist with Mojave, but happens both when upgrading to Catalina or when doing a fresh install of Catalina. I don't use GPU passthrough. @SpaceInvaderOne, any thoughts? Anything we can help trouble-shoot?
  8. Exactly Would be great to hear from you whether you found a stable way to get it working. I’ve given after trying for several months.
  9. Your best bet will be the LL github page. They have a but tracker. Having said this, wouldn’t put my hopes too high. Development is less active and user base doesn’t seem to be huge either. I’ve always been hoping we may see a Readarr of some form. Let’s keep fingers crossed!
  10. Just found another user commenting on @SpaceInvaderOne’s youtube channel facing the same issue as me. The Photos tab within the Photos app disappeared in Catalina. This was not the case with a Mojave VM and also not with a macbook running Catalina. Then issue in Catalina VM happens both when installing Catalina directly and when installing Mojave VM first and then upgrading to Catalina. Any thoughts?
  11. Just checked what I am on and it says "lsiodev/sonarr-preview". Can I switch this directly to "linuxserver/sonarr:preview" or will this break my settings? Is there also a preview for radarr? I am currently on "linuxserver/radarr". Thanks in advance!
  12. Any chance @FrozenGamer to post a screenshot of your left column in photos and @SpaceInvaderOne to see whether this shows for you. Belowo what it is supposed to look like. In my case, "photos" (top left) is missing and it starts with "memories".
  13. Same issue as me? Yes, a screenshot would be helpful. @SpaceInvaderOne may also be able to look into this. This may be a really odd - though hugely annoying - issue of using a VM. Photos is actually my main use case.
  14. Awesome, thanks! Just in general, would this issue have caused issues for a manual update within Catalina? In other words, is there a risk for an upgrade to break things on existing VM? Do you mind to check out your Photos app in Catalina? Does it show a photos tab on the right (and then all / years) on the top. Mine oddly start with memories and I cannot select all photos.
  15. Great to see another user of Photos on Catalina. Can you help me check whether you have a photos tab on the left side (and then top bar allowing you to select all, years, months, etc.). Somehow, my bar on the left starts with memories.
  16. Cool, hadn't seen this before. No web UI? Do I need to pay USD 699 for Roon to work?
  17. Can anyone that Photos work in Catalina and has a "Photos" tab showing all photos. My library list on top-left starts with "memories". Thoughts?
  18. This excellent. Just installed and could not have been easier. Well done! I face an issue though with Photos, which is quite bizzarr. The "All Photos" tab is missing. Top-left is library and underneath is a memories tab. Anyone any idea how this can be? You faicng the same in Catalina?
  19. Trakt list fail. When I click "test", it says "testing ... failed". Tried the general public list, so shouldn't be a user issue. Thoughts?
  20. I checked out the link, but not clear what spotweb does. Is it an indexer or an aggregator of indexer? Does it have a Unraid docker?
  21. Thanks for your detailed note. I will give it a try over the weekend. Two clarifications: * What's the difference betwene 18,2 and pro 6,1? Which one to choose? * download kext utility to rebuild the cache, or rebuild the cache with terminal - what does this mean? i don't think this was covered
  22. Thanks for your quick reply. I am quite a newbie with MacOS VM and have struggled in the past. I bricked several Mac VMs and always hesitate whether it is even stable enough for me to use this consistently. Before I pull the upgrade trigger, help me understand a bit better what I do: 1) Go to Clover config and set smbios to macpro7,1 2) Where to get MCEReportDisabler.kext and where to copy it to? 3) What is virtio and do I need to bother about it? Where to set that I use vmxnet3?
  23. @ghost82 Thanks for sharing. Are you saying that you were able or unable to upgrade? Thanks for your step-by-step guide to upgrade Clover to 5000+. I haven't dared yet to do the upgrade step. WIll wait your clarification on what worked / didn't work for you.
  24. Thanks both. I'd prefer not to do a fresh install. How can I upgrade Clover to a 5000+ version? Is this something that can be done from within the VM?
  25. Catalina is finally released today. I am wondering how people go along updating to it. Is a fresh new install required? Or can I updated within the VM? I remember in earlier posts that there was a need to update Clover as well? If so, could anyone provide a step-by-step guide how to upgrade Clover within a live VM and then also upgrade the OS to Catalina. I am not using GPU passthrough, which I assume may make things easier?
