@bombz What do the connection settings look like? You want to make sure the settings under "GUACAMOLE PROXY PARAMETERS (GUACD)" are empty and the hostname or IP address you're connecting to is in the "PARAMETERS" section.

I have no control over that. I’m not a developer on the project itself. You’d have to file a JIRA request.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
I’m updated to the latest version and QuickSync is still working for me. I have an i5 8400. I’ve seen people having issues with Intel’s 11th gen CPU’s and 4K HDR files.

I have no idea. I was going in to verify the new version number but can’t see it because of this issue.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
I updated to the latest version today after I was notified by Plex that a new "everyone" version was available. Now when I go to settings I get the error "server settings are unavailable". I followed the instructions and deleted the login information from my Preferences.xml file. But then it wouldn't let me claim my server. Rather than going to the login it just says "server settings are unavailable". I was finally able to log my server back in by using the PLEX_CLAIM Docker variable. It still won't let me get to my settings though. Any ideas?

@2Piececombo Go into your Docker settings, click the switch next to “basic view” to change to “advanced view”, disable Docker and click apply, enable “Host access to custom networks”, and finally re-enable Docker and click apply.

They definitely need better management of 2FA/TOTP.

[6.9.1] Parity Check After Clean Shutdown Or Reboot.
I have rebooted twice since upgrading to 6.9.0. The first time was to upgrade to 6.9.1 and again to correct my vm's video card going wonky. Both times a parity check was started upon boot. What is going on? unraid-diagnostics-20210312-1736.zip

@nug What browser are you using? Try refresh your browser's cache by hitting ctrl-f5.

@Brian5542 Yes, login as guacadmin and then go to Settings and then Preferences. The spot to change the password is there.

@Brian5542 I honestly have no idea. Is there a time zone setting somewhere in the Duo management?
-
[Support] jasonbean - Apache Guacamole
@Brian5542 Are you editing your guacamole.config file in Unraid or in a Windows text editor? You need to make sure the file has UNIX line endings and no extra spaces at the ends of the lines.

@Brian5542 Did you follow the Duo authentication guide here? https://guacamole.apache.org/doc/gug/duo-auth.html

I haven't personally used DUO in a while but I just tested it and it worked fine. Obviously there's something wrong with the time on your server. I assume that is your correct time zone?

NTP is the protocol that Unraid uses to synchronize time. That time should translate to its Docker containers. If you go to the container's console and type the command "date" what is the output. How does it compare to Unraid's date/time?
-
[Support] jasonbean - Apache Guacamole
@Brian5542 It should pick up the time from its host server. Is the system time synced correctly?

If you remove that path does it return to normal?

[Support] jasonbean - Apache Guacamole
Because Guacamole runs through a browser it has to provide overrides for the back and forward mouse buttons that would normally browse back and forward in the history. If that’s even possible. You can always create an Apache JIRA account and recommend the change if one isn’t already there.

For those who have asked about mobile support it looks like the developers are moving toward better mobile support. The latest commits to their git repositories show added support for multitouch events.

@phatcat No, this container is not designed to work on it's own to have TLS/SSL security. I'm not sure how to implement that functionality in the Apache Tomcat that Guacamole runs from. You are the first person who has asked about this. At this time I'm not really interested in adding this functionality. You are certainly free to fork my code to add that functionality.

@joshallen2k To be more exact the proxy parameters are only needed when guacd itself is located separately on a different computer or container. Since it is located within the same container as the client (web GUI) those settings can always be empty.

@joshallen2k Remove everything from the Guacamole Proxy Parameters. Those aren’t needed.

Mac’s screen sharing is through standard VNC. Normal port 5900.
-
[Support] jasonbean - Apache Guacamole
No, Apache Guacamole doesn’t have that feature. Their TOTP support is fairly limited. They also don’t have a way to disable TOTP without directly modifying the database. Nor do they have a backup code facility.

I’ve not jumped into H.265. I’m still working with H.264. I’ve done a little testing with H.265 but just haven’t seen the need to change.
