  1. Yes, should work now if you upgrade to 6.10.1 or 6.10.2 or even downgrade to any version (except for 6.10.0 because there is a bug in it that prevents the Plugin Update Helper from working correctly).
  2. If you want too, yes, but you can also take the official one. Please try to use VA-API if possible.
  3. @Tristankin & @Akilae keep in mind that the iGPU is maybe also used when you import new media to generate the previews at least in Plex I think that this applies. It seems also suspicious to me that on 6.10.0rc4 everything worked with a HDMI dummy plug. I suspect anything else than this module, must be some weird bug... @Tristankin Have you yet tried to blacklist it and install the Intel-GPU-TOP plugin? @Akilae do you have your Diagnostics somewhere? Greetings from Lunz am See...
  4. The reason why I'm asking is because someone already tested Alder Lake with 5.18.2 and Plex crashed the server again but Jellyfin run just fine.
  5. You only have that option to switch from MACVLAN to IPVLAN on 6.9.0+ Then I think it's not strictly related to the i915 module.
  6. No issue to me, whenever you got time... Over here in Austria it's not that late and a little warmer... Maybe try to increase the voltage a little bit and see if this helps. This is strange the Diagnostics say that it's running at 2400MT/s Configured Memory Speed: 2400 MT/s
  7. May I ask if you are on the latest BIOS version? Have you the possibility in your BIOS to increase the Core/iGPU voltage about +0.05V or maybe +0.1V? This should not harm your system in any way for testing. I've seen system iGPU freezes where the motherboard is a little too conservative with the power management from the core voltage itself. Also what RAM is this that you got installed? I know it's a little odd question but have you yet tried any other RAM from Corsair or something like that? EDIT: Have you yet tried to switch from MACVLAN to IPVLAN in your Docker settings?
  8. TBH I really don't know anymore which threads are for Alder Lake and which are not. I think I wrote with someone about another generation than Alder Lake but couldn't remember if it was this thread because the forums are now flooded with Alder Lake transcoding issues where the main reason why it doesn't work is in my opinion Plex... BIOS settings for the iGPU, aperture size and so on... There should be a dedicated page for this in the BIOS. Do you have done any modifications to the go file or something like that? What CPU do you own? Have done any undervolting or tuning from the system in the BIOS too? EDIT: Have now gone through the Diagnostics, can you try to remove the i915.conf file from your modprobe.d file on 6.10.2 and install the Intel-GPU-TOP plugin. Is the server randomly crashing or is it just while transcoding? If it's not related to transcoding I would recommend to not do anything from the above recommended.
  9. Added automatic installation of a Debian Bullseye container with a Desktop environment reachable through noVNC and VNC. Update the plugin Go to the LXC page and click on "Add Container" and at the bottom you have now the ability to enter a Name for the container (MAC address will be generated automatically and Autostart is disabled by default): After you clicked on "Create VNC Container" you will see something like this: ATTENTION: Don't close this window or interrupt the process since it installs everything to the container from this point on. This Process can take a very long time depending on your internet connection, speed of your drives and general performance from your server since it has to install a full Desktop environment from scratch. After everything is finished the "DONE" button is displayed and it should look something like this: You see now that you can reach it via noVNC through: LXCContainerIP:8080/vnc.html?autoconnect=true and through any VNC compatible client through: LXCContainerIP:5900 Close the window with the "DONE" button and go back to your LXC page to see the IP from the newly set up container and connect to it, in my case with: 10.0.0.172:8080/vnc.html?autoconnect=true : After connecting to the container you should be greeted with the Desktop: I would also recommend if you plan to use noVNC to set the scaling to "Remote Resizing", click the little arrow on the left, click on the gear icon and select "Remote Resizing" to always fill the desktop to the browser screen: Now I would strongly recommend that you change the root password by opening a terminal in the Desktop environment and typ in: su ...enter the root password "Unraid" (without double quotes) and then type in: passwd ...enter the current password "Unraid" (without double quotes) and the new password twice (you will get no display output while typing, this is the default behavior). After that you can close the terminal. I would also recommend to change the default user password from your "debian" user by opening a terminal in the Desktop environment again and typ in: passwd ...enter the current password "debian" (without double quotes) and the new password twice (you will get no display output while typing, this is the default behavior). After that you can close the terminal. Now what's left for you to do is set the locale, timezone and customize the container how you like... (Please use the command "su" from above to become root so that you don't need sudo in front of the commands) Please note that this is not a custom image or something like that, it installs the base LXC Debian Bullseye image from the LXC container repository and installs everything from scratch after that through Debian & GitHub repositories.
  10. Exactly, cross play is only supported by a few games and you always have to buy a server somewhere if you want to have a private server and couldn't be done with most dedicated servers for PC.
  11. @flyize can you please test if Jellyfin is working on your system and not crashing it? Currently I think the ffmpeg version from Plex is the issue...
  12. I would recommend that you open up a GitHub PR or at least an Issue and that they include it, since I pull it from their repository. Are you sure that this APU is affected by the Reset Bug anyways? Isn't this related: Click
  13. Is this maybe this what you are looking for: Click (Keep in mind that your files are located in .../appdata/vrising/save-data/Settings in my container)
  14. @Hoopster can you help me out here? Is TRIM needed from your perspective? I think this is an issue from the game itself since there are currently a lot of servers around and I think it's not designed to list that much servers, the same was the case for Valheim back then... I did some testing on my own and found out that sometimes my server displays and sometimes not but there is not really consistency on why this is the case.
  15. Sorry for the delay, but finally I got some time to test it on my machine. I've used Emby (throttling disabled) with Intel HW transcoding (Intel i5-10600) on 6.9.2 and 6.10.2 with the Intel-GPU-TOP & Intel-GVTg plugin installed while I had the i915 module blacklisted in modrprobe.d I am happy to report that I don't see any real difference between 6.9.2 and 6.10.2 while transcoding a 4K HEVC, HDR, HFR file to the 1080p 60Mbit/s preset from Emby. No dropped frames or something like that, actually in terms of transcoding I see a bit of improvement but that's negligible: 6.10.2: ~130FPS 6.9.2: ~110FPS
  16. Please remove the plugin, reboot and after that install it again from the CA App. The Plugin Update Helper should work for 6.10.1 and 6.10.2. In 6.10.0 is actually a bug that prevents it from working properly.
  17. Somehow I completely missed your Diagnostics... Is the issue resolved now or better speaking have you tried to enable CSM, boot with Legacy mode and enable Resizable BAR & Above 4G Support in your BIOS? Also make sure that you are on the latest BIOS version.
  18. I've stopped creating containers for games that I don't own because troubleshooting on such containers is a real pain for me, however if you are willing to donate the game to me, I can look into creating a container through WINE since this game doesn't officially support Linux (can't tell for sure if it's possible through WINE)...
  19. I haven't done a single TRIM since I've started Unraid... As long as the drives are recent there should not be a real downside to this except for the slower write speeds (but in my opinion that negligible). Keep in mind this is my opinion on this...
  20. But please be aware that this driver can introduce very funky behavior, also I thought this chip is already supported by 6.10.2 or am I wrong?
  21. Can you maybe send me the world files per PM so that I can try it on my own? Sure, but you can also move them via Krusader, SFTP,... (seen a lot so far... )
  22. That it's not stable is simply not true. On what CPU you are exactly @alturismo has had a i9-9900 if I'm not mistaken and he had no issues transcoding on Emby/Plex. What container are you using that gives you issues? Do you have a Display connected to the iGPU, what are your BIOS settings for the iGPU? Isn't this Apollo Lake? I only can speak for a Asrock J3710 (Braswell) and also for a Asrock J4125 (Gemini Lake Refresh) which are working perfectly fine in terms of transcoding on Unraid 6.10.2 on Emby/Jellyfin.
  23. There is for sure a suitable driver for the GeForce 710 in the list. On what Unraid version are you? If you are still on Unraid 6.9.2 I would recommend that you upgrade to 6.10.2 You simply can't see the Nvidia driver version 470.94 on Unraid 6.9.2 because I only list the last 8 drivers that are available, but as said above I would highly recommend to upgrade to Unraid 6.10.2
  24. V-Rising is in pretty early alpha and I can be everything because I run it through WINE, that's why it's marked as Beta. Keep in mind Valheim is not running through WINE... But I don't think this is caused by WINE. As said above it could be everything... Why not disable TRIM? Or do you need the speed gain?
  25. Is this a question or a request? If it's a question, maybe start at looking at my GitHub.
