  1. Maybe there is something wrong in the change that I've made for 6.10.0 will look into this and report back. Can you please not try to add: options i915 enable_gvt="Y" to the file and reboot, leave the file as it is and see if GVT-g get's enabled after you've change it back to: blacklist i915 The activation is handled by the plugin at the boot process and not by this file.
  2. No, Intel-GPU-TOP won't do that. If you are on 6.10.0+ then the GVT-g plugin will create this file because otherwise I can't GVT-g get to work. A recent change for the 6.10.0 series introduced that the graphic drivers are loaded automatically at boot and without disabling them and loading the module with a custom command, what GVT-g does on boot, it won't be able to work. Why would you do that? Intel GVT-g is enabling the module on it's own. That is very unlikely to be the case, if you are on 6.9.2 the module isn't activated by default so the blacklist file isn't necessary because it's not activated until the plugin is installed. No, that's also not the case, why should it break if the i915 file is loaded? Delete the i915.conf file reboot and report back if this is working too please.
  3. Give it a try I think, I've only run the server for a week but with two players on it it used only a little of CPU and when it was empty it idled between 0 to 2% CPU usage (back then I was using a Xeon 2670 v1 - keep in mind this is a old CPU).
  4. I will look into this and will report back. Maybe the developers changed something again.
  5. Can you share a little more details please, maybe the Diagnostics, also what the exact commands are you've used and what card do you want to flash?
  6. Please see a few posts above, you have to force validiation, but backup you configuration first if you do this. May I ask if it shouldn't be: -beta latest_experimental
  7. This was reported before and I user force_install_dir in this exact command and I can't change anything about it displaying this message: ${STEAMCMD_DIR}/steamcmd.sh \ +login anonymous \ +force_install_dir ${SERVER_DIR} \ +app_update ${GAME_ID} validate \ +quit As you can see from above this is all issued in one command and this is still the usual way of doing it (if I put force_install_dir before the login it changes nothing and the message still persists). This warning was always there and you don't need Simple DirectMedia Layer in a dedicated server, at least I can't imagine why a container would need access to mouse, keyboard,... (https://www.libsdl.org/) Is something not working for you?
  8. Use the Serverconfig variable in the container. Copy the serverconfig.xml and rename it to config.xml and then change the Serverconfig variable to "config.xml" Just as an example.
  9. It can take a little while that SteamCMD is picking up the update on some systems, don't know what causes this, have you got AdGuard, PiHole or Unbound running somewhere in your network? It could also be that you have to enable validation for beta servers. I've actually read on the Satisfactory Wiki that you have to force update a game if you switch the branch from stable (or public release) to beta, but now I think it could also be the case if you use any beta branch and a update is released. I can't fix this... If you turn on validation and the developer from the game is shipping the config files with the game they got overwritten because they are validated and they are not the same as on the Steam servers because they've been intentionally modified but SteamCMD overwrites them. Hope this makes sense to you.
  10. Glad to hear that it's working! Yes exactly, this is a variable that is defined in the template and you have to use the template variable.

If you have any request on a game server feel free to post here, you can also look at the second post which games are already available: I think this is similar to Conan Exiles in terms of the game engine that they are using and from what I know there is no native Linux version available. It would be somehow possible to try to create a container with WINE but it could be possible that it won't run and is most likely to cause a little more overhead and to use more system resources as if you run it natively on Windows.
  12. From what I see these are custom ports or am I wrong? Usually the ports look like this: Have you also configured the ports in the config to match your ports that you've specified in the template? I would recommend to stick to the default ports and only change them if really needed.
  13. Can you post a screenshot from the log? Do you have a adblocker like Adguard or PiHole or maybe Unbound somewhere in your network? I only can imagine that something is preventing/slowing down the download. EDIT: I've now tried it once more with a fresh copy from the CA App and the server is just downloading fine within a few minutes (I'm on a 250Mbit/s connection) and starts just fine, attached the log here: satisfactory.log
  14. Nice. That's actually the second time I hear about that issue in a few days, maybe the developers changed something? I really recommend to wait for @Cyd maybe he can help.
  15. As it is right now you don't need to do anything, currently it is running "TheIsland" map and waiting for players. If you want to add mods just do it the usual way like you would do it on any Linux dedicated server installation.
  16. Correct, you also can't transcode to h265 with Emby/Jellyfin/Plex, it always defaults to h264 (at time of writing). This is really strange since I can't reproduce this on my i5-10600 at least not with that performance hit.
  17. The server is now running and waiting for clients. Now you can try to install the mods, but I have to say that I'm really not into mods...
  18. du -sh satisfactory/ 4.3G satisfactory/ But where do they point to and are there all files on one disk? I think this can be only related to the paths that something is not working on your system.
  19. Thank you. Nothing, this was just for testing purposes, you can safely delete it.
  20. Than you, exactly the log from the container. Does your container have exclusive access to the Internet without any blocking software in front of it like AdGuard/PiHole? Just for testing purposes can you try to download this file: Click Have you maybe stopped or restarted the container once when it was installing the files? I would recommend that you start with a fresh install without any modifications to the template (except for the paths if you need to customize them): Delete the Container Delete the directory for arkse that lives in your appdata folder Grab a fresh copy from the CA App Wait for it to download the dedicated server and watch the logs (can take a long time for ARK)
  21. I think this is related to "-automanagemods" from what I've read this is not really supported. What does the log say? You can post screenshots directly here on the forums, simply press CTRL + V to past the screenshot here in the post if you have it in the clipboard or drop the files directly here in the text box.
  22. Please check the template to what path the SteamCMD and GameFiles are set and also make sure that you've have enough space on the disk and that the files are not spread across multiple disks. Tried it now on my own with a fresh copy pulled from the CA App and it works as it should: satisfactory.log
  23. Have you set Validate to true in the template? If yes, please disable it. Maybe @Cyd can help with mods. Have you alse read the second recommended post on top?
  24. Can you post your Diagnostics please? Have you installed a Cache device in your system? If yes to what is it set in terms of "Use Cache" in the Share settings?
