I have an MD1200 used with an ASUS ROG board and external port controller. I have used it for several years but now the MD1200 is going bananas with fan speed. It still works fine with UNRAID and I have no issues at all other than fan speed. I hope you can figure it out.

Decided to get the 45 home lab case. https://store.45homelab.com/. and replace my current external port controller with an LSI9300-16. Hope everything goes smooth.

I currently have a 4U chassis holding an AMD motherboard and accessories. From there, I have 2 SFP cables going to a DELL MD1200 rack unit. It's been flawless for several years but now the fans are at full speed and I can't stand the noise. I don't care to troubleshoot what's wrong either. Who makes the BEST JBOD rack case for atleast 12 drives? My current setup is a 6GB throughput system. Does UNRAID support faster controllers now?

System crashed a few hours ago and I had to perform a hard reboot. How do i grab the crash data to upload?

Docker image has been recreated and working now. I have enabled syslog mirror to flash and will wait for the next crash and post here. Thank you everyone for your help.

This particular setup was running on a Dell rack server. It gave me the same issues there. I decided to use a AMD Ryzen based system with ASUS board. No luck

I moved docker.img to cache drive and increased from 50 to 55GB. Still no dice.

My unraid 6.9 server keeps crashing every few days. Only way to fix is a hard reboot. Now, the docker service is not starting at all. I see paid support is gone from limetech. I have some stability issues with my unraid box. I thought it was the dell server I was using and recently moved to an AMD Ryzen processor. Same issues. System hangs after a few days. A few cores gets pegged at 100%. I can't figure out what's causing it. I just want to pay some one to fix it. Any takers?

nvm. Killing the Java process did nothing.

Would't this indicate java is consuming most of the CPU? I'm not sure what is using Java.

So something is wrong with Plex? According to the plex dashboard, I am not transcoding anything. One stream currently under direct play.

what's the easiest way to move all data from the binhex-minecraft server to the mineos server?

I currently have a CHENBRO rack case with 12 drive slots. The system has a supermicro dual CPU board with LSI controller. I believe there is a single SAS cable going to the rear of the drive backplane to connect all 12 drives. Question 1. I thought a single SAS connector can hookup to only 4 drives. In my case, I can operate all 12 drives (atleast 8 so far installed) I would like to switch to a dell r430 that I happen to have with a 20 core processor. Since the dell is a 1u unit, I would like an external drive storage unit. Question 2. Which is the quietest and highest quality hotswappable drive cabinet? The dell also have a mini perc controller that has been flashed with IT firmware to see the 8 2.5" drive slots on the case itself so that is not a problem. Question 3. Can I add another LSI controller with external port to manage the external drive storage unit?

I have a dell r430 server with a flashed h330 perc controller on IT mode working with the onboard 2.5” array. What is the best method to add an external drive array? Can I add another controller to the system for the external sas port?

I have shows in my unraid box set to /media/tvshows/. Same folder for both SAB and Sonarr. Problem is when the show downloads, the file moves to the /media/tvshows/ folder but NOT the subfolder of the actual show. I have to manually move them myself. Any thoughts?

Just installed a Nvidia GForce GTX 1050 Ti from Gigibyte. Monitoring the WATCH NVIDIA-SMI command shows videos in 1080p utilizing approx 12% GPU. When I play 4k, it freezes just like before and GPU shows 1%. Anyone know what the issue could be?
