[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nextcloud
blaine07 replied to linuxserver.io's topic in Docker Containers
I know the update instructions have nothing to do with what I was doing BUT I had read manually updating circumvents extra files check that GUI runs to update with(& point it kept failing at) is all. So I asked if they was up to date as I was considering pursuing that avenue of updating so I wouldn't get hung up. I got everything updated without having to go manual; Krusader WAS able to see all the DSSTORE files. Thanks mate!! [emoji16] Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -

Yea it's a whole another issue but cant get krusader to startup. Have tried on both Mac and Windows client. Even used FTP from phone to look at not finding them. Any idea if manual update instructions in OP are current and up to date? As I understand it doesn't check for such unnecessary files? I could go that route to avoid this issue a little longer? EDIT: Solved; had to reinstall Binhex-Krusader -

I am getting this identical error updating from 16.0.1 to 16.0.2. I have SCOURED where you describe the DS files are found and can't seem to locate them. Any advice? I have tried browsing appdata/nextcloud via SMB on network AND FTP and tried showing hidden files. Is their anyway to easily locate these DS files? Any help would be fantastic 😞 -

Appears it should NOT have the "space" in between "lets" and "encrypt"? Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -

Is this error in Nextcloud about proxy something I should worry about? Using Letsencrypt docker for reverse proxy. In Nextcloud config/config.php the trusted proxy is listed as 'let's encrypt' Everything functions fine, just noticed this warning and wondering if I should bother with trying to fix warning? Should config.php say 'letsencrypt' perhaps for trusted_proxies instead perhaps? Or should I just leave whole ordeal well enough alone; everything 100% works as is...[emoji2373] Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk -
I never said their was anything wrong with the image at all. Ray Charles could see all the comments with people having issues getting them to renew though; consensus on WHY I haven’t a clue. I wouldn’t have any idea if their was something wrong with the image; way beyond my skill set, and I know that, so who would I be to say their is definitively something wrong with image? I DID say certs not renewing seems to be common; I didn’t further specify it was images fault or the end users fault. [emoji848] Wasn’t aware logs are kept 52 weeks, thanks! Mine is due to expire in October so I’ll see what happens there. I just know last time it was to renew it didn’t do it on its own, and I had to do as I mentioned above to get them renewed. Perhaps a one time fluke for all I know, but seeing others having issues getting them to renew piqued my interest. You mentioned a lot of users jack with port 80 or DNS mappings and I asked how one would know they had as its entirely possible I unknowingly did. Still not sure where or in what config those get changed in. Regardless, calm down, I’m grateful for all the work that goes into building and maintaining these dockers. I’m not retarded, it’s a lot of time, work and effort to maintain these. I’m also well aware about 4.9/5 of all the issues you guys deal with in relation to these are end user idiocracy problems. I’m not positive if you felt I was being rude or what the deal is but I most certainly wasn’t intending to be. [emoji848]

Yeah something definitely got spun around. Facepalm sorry. My concern was(& it was mentioned somewhere above I think): "nginx: [warn] could not build optimal variables_hash, you should increase either variables_hash_max_size: 1024 or variables_hash_bucket_size: 64; ignoring variables_hash_bucket_size" Not sure what I unintentionally placed myself into-- SORRY! Certs this time aren't expired; last time when they were due up for renewal they didnt renew but that was resolved by addition of fictitious site, starting up and errors, removing and restarting and certs renewed. Seems like a lot are having some issue at some capacity with certs not auto renewing for some reason though. [emoji848][emoji2373] Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk

Good Evening, I have what I am hoping to get a simple solution to but not making any progress... I have a WIN10 VM on a Unassigned Drive. The UD is failing. I can still boot the VM and use it etc; I just know the drive is dying so trying to salvage what I can while I can. I have tried using Krusader to copy the 50gb vdisk1.img and it keeps failing. I have tried to download the vdisk1.img to my Mac via FTP and reupload on another unassigned drive and when I download it to my MAC it only downloads IMG as like ~3.5gb. When I point VM to new VDISK location it boots to a windows recovery screen of some sort; I assume because the HDD went from 50gb to ~3.5? I guess my real question is what other ideas or ways are their to move the FULL 50gb vdisk image around without running into other issues?

Sorry, again, but yeah makes sense sir. (I just followed SIOs YT guide & changed a few things I needed different/specific; not sure how this has been worked into such a conundrum LOL). Thank your elaboration with me [emoji106] I'll just watch and learn [emoji16][emoji106] Sent from my SM-G975U using Tapatalk
