  1. Cool... I never once would have thought that I could walk into a brick and mortar store buy a piece of software and then later decide I didn't want it and subsequently return it... Guess since I've never been quite willing to shell out the coin for an up to date Office suite that now I can get it easily for free
  2. It's one of these things that some users see on occasion (along with shfs consuming all CPU resources and wsdd consuming all CPU resources) that the majority of users do not see for some unknown reason.
  3. The way that I understand it is that you've got some media randomly pausing What else did you expect? Some magic fix when there's no details of the circumstances etc on a reply to a post 3 years old? "Excuse me, Mr Car Mechanic, I hear a noise on occasion just like that other guy you had in here 3 years ago. What's wrong?" What answer would you think that he's going to give you? Yes it may be hard to believe, but not every one has an answer for any given random question, especially when it's on specific hardware.
  4. I can think of many other examples across the board of "why not ask in the support threads hosted by the app itself?"
  5. Bad Squid. Let's vote on a suitable punishment...
  6. Why not recommend the official version? Wouldn't the official container be the way to go?
  7. Maybe nobody knew the answer. Or others didn't see the question by it being posted in the general area instead of under a specific support thread for one of the containers??
  8. Has anyone else noticed that NZBGet for the last few days has been running (for lack of a better word) like crap? Once a DL gets to the point that it wants to download the par2 files, nzbget just sits there and refuses to do anything, and it's log gets filled with news.usenetserver refused the connection.... Switched to binhex as a test and it does the same thing. Downgraded to a tag from 21 days ago and its the same thing. Switched to Sab and it's just sailing ...
  9. Don't worry about it. If the driver is anywhere, it's on the virtio iso disk.
  10. Yeah, portainer looks ok, but it does have the unique distinction of being the only app currently present in the Apps Tab where its total downloads actually went down one month. Bug on docker hub or did 1,000,000,000 try it, decided that dockerMan was far better and insisted that dockerHub not count their installs?
  11. Limetech should bake in the drivers. That way whenever nVidia releases a new driver (every 30 seconds, or on slow days every other minute) we can have a new version of unRaid.
  12. My take on the situation The original script worked flawlessly. By extension, the binhex container should also work flawlessly. Unfortunately, the track record of the plugin has been mixed, and there's too many posts that suggest to uninstall it to fix any problems with the underlying OS. "Pre" clearing a drive hasn't actually been necessary for quite a while now, and while people do still use it to see if a new drive is ok or not, other alternatives exist (ie: extended smart test) that will definitely not affect anything else on the server. Personally, I haven't actually precleared a drive in years. Toss a new one in, have unRaid clear it (or rebuild onto it if expanding an existing drive). The SMART reports will pretty much tell you everything you need to know. Besides, when was the last time anyone actually ran Preclear on a drive that is destined for their desktop? If you don't particularly care about it there, why would you care on your server? To each their own
  13. I'm going to go out on a limb here and speak for @CHBMB. This plugin (and the DVB plugin) are built and maintained by him on a volunteer basis and it isn't always convenient for him (or anyone else) to continually keep up with every release as soon as it's released. There is significant time required to build and test each and every release which isn't always doable because of other commitments which are probably far more important. Cut him some slack. To be honest, at times I'm surprised due to the time required for this that he even bothers to support RC's.
  14. Last time I checked there is Settings - Notification Settings for that...
