None All Parity disk Data slots Cache slots Thank, It is up to you - you just need to make sure that before starting the array the disks are assigned as you want them. in most cases it is easier to select the All option and make changes from that starting position. trurl Posted January 3, 2021 Share Posted January 3, 2021 Doesn't matter to New Config when or even whether you remove the disk. Just don't assign it when you New Config. Might be simpler for you if you don't remove it before doing New Config since it will be a missing/disabled/emulated disk until you rebuild parity without it. Quote Link to comment

JorgeB Posted January 6, 2021 Share Posted January 6, 2021 I find it pretty easy, but the other option it to just do a standard replacement of disk1, since you're using xfs there's no way of knowing which files will be corrupt though, unless you have pre-existing checksums. Quote Link to comment
