So i have an Asrock X300 with an 5700g in it.

 

i have a Win 10 VM seabios + the posted GPU Bios

Unraid in Bios Mode 

I can instal the AMD APU driver for my 5700g 

 

i stubbed the Cezane IGPU 

 

but i got the error 43 inside the VM and i think thats the culprit for not utelizing the HDMI Port.

 

 

can some one ,who got it working, post the used system? or an newer VBIOS?

Hi everyone, there is now a way to use hardware transcoding with AMD igpu using docker only for Plex. You can have a look on this thread:

Ok, i beated the Code 43 in Windows 10 with adding a Vendor ID and Hide the VM from the driver. But the IGPU is still not used.

I got it going with GPU acceleration.  I had to install the AMD APU driver from https://www.amd.com/en/support/apu/amd-ryzen-processors/amd-ryzen-9-mobile-processors-radeon-graphics/amd-ryzen-9-5900hx and select the "factory reset" option so that it would uninstall all previously installed display drivers.  Now I have GPU acceleration working!!!!  Gaming and 4K 60fps video playback is PERFECT!  I'm so happy.

kinda, i ofcourse use the driver for my 5700G. But i could try the 5900hx ones.

 

When i add the multifunction='on' i have the code 12 not enough resources error code.

 

 

So i used the driver for the 5900HX but neveless it wont use the IGPU.

 

now i dont have any error codes and the driver states that everything is fine but no 3D application finds the IGPU 

 

 

i tryed 3D Mark and Parsec so far am Downloading an older 3D game like Aquanox for testing Purpose now.

 

i should say i try this on a Asrock x300 sff PC 

 

my next steps are installing a few VMs with diffrent xml settings ...

 

 

so it does not make any diffrence in behaviour with Seabios or OMVM, i start to believe that my asrock x300 does not manage the IGPU an not having any alernative very well.

I tried that with my AMD Ryzen 3 2200G and the bios which was shared in the former posts.

 

After starting the VM the system getting unrespond and the only way was to hard reboot the system to getting the system in normal operation.

 

I used the same configuratin for the VM as shown in the picture on second page.

 

Do I need to bind it to VFIO?

 

Or do I need an other vbios for the Graphics ROM BIOS?

Yes that vbios are for 5700G you need too get that for 2200g you can boot a Windows up out unraid and install gpuz and grab the vbios

Using 6.1.0 rc2.

You say HDMI do you also passthrough the hdmi audio also ?

It not that one. That one is your audio on the motherboard . There should be two you can use both just add two audio devices.
The name on my system are AMD Devices (07:00:1) where my gpu grupe so are (07:00:0)

I am using Hdmi, could use DVI but atm i am using HDMI. 

and honestly i am using mostly headless with hdmi dummy plugs and parsec.

I'm wondering if this has something to do with the motherboards we're using. I was using a B550 board which the default iommu groups were bad, I'm switching to a x570 board in a couple of days and I'll report back.
