SpiderPOH Posted August 21, 2021 Share Posted August 21, 2021 (edited) Sodele, habe hier einen nagelneuen USB Stick (musste ich leider via manueller Installation installieren (also files aus .zip darauf entpacken und bootable machen) da der HP Microserver G8 , leider nicht anders dazu zu bewegen war zu booten). Ich stelle nun fest das das beim Klick auf "SHARES" folgendes zu sehen ist "There are no exportable user shares" und "There are no exportable disk shares" das ADD SHARE ist ausgegraut ! ARRAY besteht aus 1x 8TB Parity und 1x 8TB Disk , POOL Device 128GB SSD soll als CACHE laufen ! Klick auf DOCKER bringt "Docker Service failed to start." Klcik auf VMs bringt "Libvirt Service failed to start." Und ja die Virtualisierungsoptionen sind im BIOS aktiviert ! so wie es aussieht existieren keine Pfade docker meckert : "Path does not exist" bei vDisk Location und bei appdata location vm hat das selbe Problem ! per Terminal sehe ich das es im /mnt NUR die Ordner "disks" und "remotes" gibt beide natürlich leer.... alturismo Posted August 22, 2021 Share Posted August 22, 2021 Nachtrag, Docker und VM Dienste laufen nur wen das array auch läuft ... ich schätze dein array ist nicht gestartet. Dann, 128 GB als cache, mit Docker, VM, appdata, usw usw ... wird das evtl. sehr eng, das nur vorweg ... Quote Link to comment

Startet man aber das Array und hat es noch nicht formatiert, dann ist das tatsächlich möglich. SpiderPOH Posted August 22, 2021 Author Share Posted August 22, 2021 Ich habe da unten kein Format , habe ebnen nochmal alles neu gemacht hier mal Screenshots Step by Step ! so schaut es nach dem Booten aus Nun füge ich beide 8TB HDDs hinzu 1x Parity und 1x als Disk 1 (wegen Datensicherheit) Nun noch die 128GB SSD als Pool Device (cache) (zwecks schnellerem Datentransfer) (UNRAID soll nur als NAS laufen !! KEINE VMs , Container etc..) schaut man nun unten steht da nix von Format !! klicke ich nun "Maintenance mode" an und bestätige das ganze mit "start" schaut es wiefolgt aus Nirgends etwas von Format !!! mgutt Posted August 22, 2021 Share Posted August 22, 2021 Mach mal Tools > New Config, setz aber bei Pools den Haken, dass du die behalten (Preserve) willst. Dann weist du dem Array nur Disk 1 zu, also nicht die Parity. Passt es jetzt? Denk dran, dass ein Formatieren die Disk 1 natürlich löscht. Oder waren das jetzt eh leere Disks? Quote Link to comment

Formatieren läuft nun , ich war schon drauf und drann den HP Microserver G8 zu verschrotten... Ist es normal das die 8TB Parity HDD nun noch INVALID (gelbes Dreieck) anzeigt ? liegt das daran das er erst fertig Syncronisieren muss ? Quote Link to comment
