  • You can skip 8001 port now since we have combine web server and backend. So only one port is enough. I'll update installation guide.

What is the default login.

Thanks

Nice app! Do the mobile apps have the ability to automatically upload all new photos and videos as a background process? That seems the be the missing feature in most of these backup solutions.

No default login. People have to create new user from mobile app, then start using.

Yes, but for IOS, system assigns background upload for lower priority, thus sometimes upload will be stopped.

Android app will add background uploading feature soon

The background backup is tricky on iOS, currently only iCloud can do background backup, other apps can only hack either use background fetch or geo location changes to trigger upload, and OS may allocate very short timeslot for that.

Hi, it is a great app, no lags at all. I upload 20GB for about 30 minutes without problem. The only problem I have is I can’t setup remote access. I’m using nginx proxy manager. Can someone give directions how to do it or post a guide?

I created an user in the android app and the backup i working, i can see the photos on my drive, but when i try to login with the created user on my browser i get a login failure.

Has anyone else the same problem?

You should be able to login with the same username/password,  or you can reset the password, https://lomorage.com/faq/#i-forget-password-how-to-reset

It worked for me after i changed the Post Argument with my correct IP, haven´t seen that before, sorry. But it works only locally with the ip and port, if i try to access it over the internet with my nginx proxy manager i still get the login failure.

Same for me. I’m using iOS i can’t make it work with nginx proxy manager no matter what I try.

Is it possible to upload pictures into one (user) folder without creating subfolders for year and months

Yeah, the same problem here. Login via iOS App is possible, but no login via browser interface.

It is in the TODO feature list, and can be one setting which user can decide the structure.

Which port are you using? Website is listening on 8001 now? if you still can not visit, please check `PostArgs` section in template. Refer https://docs.lomorage.com/docs/Installation/lomorage-service/installation-unraid/.

Quote

PostArgs: Default value is 192.168.1.28 8000 8001. 192.168.1.28 is unraid IP, 8000 is lomorage API backend listening port, and 8001 is lomorage web portal listening port.

@Berti @ExXxtr3me @Anadoliev We can reproduce the issue. There is one workaround, but it is a little complex. We plan to combine the web app and backend, so that it is easier to configure. Please stay tuned, and it will take about one week.

Sounds good. 👍

Easiest photo backup tool I ever use, but also the most limited photo management tool, hope dev can add more management features like location, date or even facial recognition.

Thanks @xyzeratul for the good words. It has certain management features at IOS, such as filter by video, location. Also has history of today function. We are adding more AI related features. Hope you will like it.

So these features are here but not in web UI or android app? Sorry I don't use iOS myself, if so you really need to improve these fuction to web ui first.

@Berti @ExXxtr3me @Anadoliev Web version has been integrated with lomo backend. Please check the latest guide with one section on Nginx Proxy Manager integration. Thanks.

@xyzeratul Thanks for the suggestion. Note has been taken and will put more focus on web UI.
