fazj
Hi hive mind. A seemingly random issue I keep running into is parity seems to run whenever it feels like it. Sometimes it will run 2 days in a row. Other not for another week. It's set to do it once a month because it's generally annoying a locks up my system while it's doing it and causes half my dockers to crash. Anyone any idea how I figure out how and why it's doing it? Quote Link to comment

JorgeB
Oct 31 11:07:06 Alpha emhttpd: unclean shutdown detected An auto parity check will run after an unclean shutdown. You didn't mentioned it but in case you didn't notice disk3 is failing and needs to be replaced, though parity might not be 100% in sync. Quote Link to comment
fazj
I wasn't aware of an unclean shut down, wasn't aware of any shut down. Yes a new disk is on its way I have already moved anything of importance off it. Quote Link to comment

The diagnostics start after the system was booted yesterday at 11:06 which suggests there WAS a shutdown. if you are not aware of it then maybe you have some other problem? Quote Link to comment
