Cannot provision CA-signed certificate (fixed briefly, currently BROKEN AGAIN [multiple weeks])

Featured Replies

Hello. I followed all the instructions on the guide to get My Servers running as I'd like to remotely access my UnRAID server. Whenever I press the Provision button, there is no errors in the logs and this is what I get:

Jul 16 13:51:10 Tower root:
Jul 16 13:51:10 Tower emhttpd: shcmd (94): /etc/rc.d/rc.nginx reload
Jul 16 13:51:10 Tower root: Checking configuration for correct syntax and
Jul 16 13:51:10 Tower root: then trying to open files referenced in configuration...
Jul 16 13:51:10 Tower root: nginx: the configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf syntax is ok
Jul 16 13:51:10 Tower root: nginx: configuration file /etc/nginx/nginx.conf test is successful
Jul 16 13:51:10 Tower root: Reloading Nginx configuration...

I've also attached the troubleshoot file.
Could this possibly be due to the fact I use Xfinity and use their locked down XB7 modem?

EDIT [SEPT 23/2022]:

I have changed the title to broken once again, as I cannot provision a certificate on a fresh 6.11.0 install. From my point of view, the My Servers addon as it is currently stands shouldn't be publicized (or publicized with a warning that CA certs. aren't working) until it's functional. The ability to provision CA-signed certificates have been vastly inconsistent and unsuccessful. I have changed the title to represent the accuracy of the situation.

Is there a persistent issue with the My Servers plugin or is it just us having issues?

I'm having the same issue with 6.10.3...

I am having the same issue with 6.10.3.

Have setup a new usb stick to exclude any other configuration influences.

I am using a FritzBox and have added tower.local to the DNS Rebind settings.

Having the same problem as everyone else on two different servers on two different networks, one long running one, and a separate clean install I built yesterday.

Please try again, we were having issues with the provisioning server

It worked, the cert came through as expected.

Thank you very much. It works now.

mark me up as another with "Server was unable to provision SSL certificate" Assume its been happening a while as my certificate was expired which drew my attention. couldn't get it to renew so tried deleting and provision from scartch but still no go.

Same issue here.  Must be having issues with the provisioning server again.

Sorry for the trouble, you should be able to provision again. We are looking into ways of making sure this remains stable.
