Jellyman261
Sorry in advance am very green when it comes to server terminology. I updated my Unraid server (don't remember the version I started at) to Version: 6.12.0. After the reboot for the update, I received an alert about my second parity disk and disk # 1 was disabled. I think all I need to do is rebuild, which I was hoping someone could walk me through it. jellystorage-diagnostics-20230625-1509.zip Quote Link to comment
trurl
03:00.0 RAID bus controller [0104]: Broadcom / LSI MegaRAID SAS 2208 [Thunderbolt] [1000:005b] (rev 05) DeviceName: Integrated RAID Subsystem: Dell PERC H710 Mini (for monolithics) [1028:1f38] Kernel driver in use: megaraid_sas Kernel modules: megaraid_sas RAID controllers NOT recommended with Unraid for many reasons Quote Link to comment
JorgeB
Due to the RAID controller cannot see SMART for the drives, emulated disk is mounting so you could try rebuilding, though it would be better to replace that RAID controller with a recommended model first. Quote Link to comment

Jellyman261
I will look at chucking the raid controller. Thank you! Would it be worth it to try to running my raid card in IT mode? Edited June 30, 2023 by Jellyman261 Quote Link to comment
