Piotr I think that's a great idea and I did think about making a plugin but I don't have the ability.  If you can write it I'll do the builds and host them.

Many thanks CHBMB for your Media Tree Builds!

Many thanks CHBMB for your Media Tree Builds!

No worries, which one are you using? If it's Openelec on RC6a can you confirm it's working, I haven't got any tuners to test that one.

Currently I'm using the RC6 with your Openelec media build.

I will update to RC6a tonight. Currently there to many users online.

I will give you a feedback after updating to RC6a

Hey you brave people out there!

I finally resolved the dependency issue and released a new version of the plugin including the latest and greatest tvheadend 4.0.4 stable!

You can update right from the plugins page or get it here:

https://raw.githubusercontent.com/Mettbrot/unRAID/master/tvheadend.plg

Please tell me if this works well for you! I will come up with a topic the next days if it has proven to be stable...

Hey Mettbrot,

thanks for this nice Plugin.

There is one issue in your plugin. After every Server reboot i have to reset the admin Password from TVHeadend Plugin.

Nice Work! It works.

Thank you very much CHBMB!

V6.0.0 done for Openelec & TBS - Both confirmed as working.  8)

Works great CHBMB - I'm using your openelec Media Build.

TVHeadend stream is fueling openELEC with Live TV and watched through a NVIDIA 2000 GPU. Also the remote control working....great stuff and you made it possible.

Edgar you clearly haven't read my trials of getting this working, there are a LOT of people who spent a LONG time trying to explain to me how to do this.  Bit like training a monkey!  ;D

Glad you're pleased and it's working for you, your setup is very similar to mine and it's working great for me too.

Thank you for your kind words.  :)

If you failed I have no clue how I did it  ;)

Honestly, I was lucky to having received Jon's unVM a while ago .... it is so easy to passthrough everything you need because there is a  settings menu available which is even showing WHAT you could potentially pass through!

I'm actually considering using the USB DVB-T for TVHeadend and my Digital Devices S2 device for the VDR VM that I created myself. The beauty of that setup would be that I could watch TV on my iPad (via TVHeadend app) and on the openElec VM via the VDR VNSI client.

Edgar can you tell me more about unVM or even some screenshots, intrigued!

A Jailbroken ipad with Kodi installed plays TV and everything else that Kodi does very well.

Just a thought  ;)

Emby works well for tablet devices with the Emby TVHeadEnd plugin connecting to the TVHeadEnd Unraid Plugin or Docker..

No need to jailbreak, I'm seriously going to look into switching my Kodi to using the Emby plugin and get away from the MySQL back end.

Sounds interesting, avoiding the jailbreak would be great.

@CHBMB, sorry I was away over the weekend. Let me show you a screenshot of the advanced settings that the unVM openElec VM is providing (see attachment).

Here is the xml that I pasted into the VM's tab so that openElec is starting along with the server:
