June 28, 201610 yr I assume you mean just for the last Unraid 5 version? If I can find it somewhere, I'll have a look. Or find someone here that is still using V5 & Plex....
June 28, 201610 yr I really hate to be the spoilsport here, especially as PhAzE has been doing such great work keeping these plugins going, but I feel someone needs to speak up. unRAID 5 users, PLEASE consider Upgrading to UnRAID v6 instead! Any unRAID version less than the latest 6.2 beta version has security vulnerabilities (and yes, that includes the latest stable version 6.1.9). V5 has numerous vulnerabilities and a few bugs, that have been fixed in v6. You may think you are safe because you keep it off the Internet, but current advanced malware systems are capable of searching the local network, once they have invaded ANY system on your net. And while you may be a safe user, who stays updated and avoids clicking blindly and never goes to dangerous places, all of us have non-technical relatives that do dumb things. Plus there are all the v6 features you are missing out on. And it's all free (to licensed users). While there are still users willing to help support v5 users, we all wish you would upgrade to v6, where we can help and support you better. So please consider this Plex event the impetus you need to upgrade unRAID. Edit: My recommendation is to upgrade to v6.1.9, the current official and stable version. It's only a bit less safe (I think) than the latest betas.
June 28, 201610 yr Latest PLEX plugin works great. Thanks very much for that. Has anyone reported the issue with the sabNZBD download? The plugin is showing an update to version 1.1.0Beta1 and when I click update, it failes, and on my UNRAID I get the error message ERROR 404: Not Found. Anyone else having this issue? Thanks Mike

RobJ, I appreciate the word of encouragement but i will strongly disagree to move my production system to a beta build especially when its at beta 23 or 24 i can't remember. I will agree that unraid 5 users probably need to upgrade as 64bit is the standard on most everything and announcement was made that 32bit was depreciated. I like to live on the wild side but learn a lesson when my users could not do something because it was unavailable and/or a different had to be implemented. My 2 cents.

You're absolutely right, I forgot to mention it, and I didn't mean to recommend the beta. My recommendation would be upgrading to the official and stable version, 6.1.9. But then I would mention there is 6.2-beta23 also available, if you are willing to be a beta tester. (Although some would say beta23 is looking very good and seems stable.)
June 29, 201610 yr I'm unable to upgrade the sickbeard plugin, tried uninstalling it and reinstalling it but all I get then is: plugin: installing: https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/Plugins/Sickrage.plg plugin: downloading https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/Plugins/Sickrage.plg plugin: downloading: https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/Plugins/Sickrage.plg ... done Installing Sickrage plugin Checking for current bundle files Control file: Not Found Dependency file: Not found Check OK! Downloading new control file Download OK: Control file passed MD5 check Downloading new dependency file And then all I can do is click Done but the plugin is not installed. If I try to choose to install a removed version I get this: plugin: installing: /boot/config/plugins-removed/Sickbeard.plg Installing Sickbeard plugin Checking for current bundle files Control file: Found correct version Dependency file: Found wrong version, deleting Check OK! Downloading new dependency file But still no plugin is installed. I'm running unraid 6.1.9 btw.
June 29, 201610 yr Sorry, tried installing SickRage also, but it fails as well. Here is the SickBeard attempt: plugin: installing: https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/Plugins/Sickbeard.plg plugin: downloading https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/Plugins/Sickbeard.plg plugin: downloading: https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/Plugins/Sickbeard.plg ... done Installing Sickbeard plugin Checking for current bundle files Control file: Found correct version Dependency file: Found wrong version, deleting Check OK! June 29, 201610 yr Author I just installed Sickbeard, Sickbeard_alt, and Sickrage plugins without issue. There should be more in the log after "Downloading new dependency file" and the file it downloads might take a few minutes because the dependencies are sort of big (about 50 megs). Maybe give it a minute or two to complete and see. It should have more messages in the log about successfully downloading or failing to download that file.
June 29, 201610 yr Author For people having problems with SAB, this seems to be a very specific problem with the latest beta release. They have tagged the latest version as 1.1.0Beta1 but they named the file SABnzbd-1.1.0Beta1a-src.tar.gz. They should have released a new tag for 1.1.0Beta1a since it is in fact a different version. If I add code in the plugin specific to this release it will be a bit of a waste since it will be invalid after the next beta is released. For now, I suggest downloading this file: https://github.com/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/releases/download/1.1.0Beta1/SABnzbd-1.1.0Beta1a-src.tar.gz and placing it in this folder with the following name: /boot/config/plugins/Sabnzbd/Sabnzbd-PhAzE-1.1.0Beta1-src.tar.gz Then run: /etc/rc.d/rc.Sabnzbd install That will install the Beta1a file. This issue will disappear when they release 1.1.0Beta2.
June 29, 201610 yr Maybe my browser was the problem, I saw in syslog what command it was trying to run when installing SickBeard so I ran that manually and then it downloaded everything and installed everything like it was supposed to do. I have a nice 100Mbit pipe here at home, so the download took just a few seconds to complete in cli. The command was /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/dynamix.plugin.manager/scripts/plugin install https://github.com/PhAzE-Variance/unRAID/raw/master/Plugins/Sickbeard.plg if anyone else stumbles upon the same problem I had.

June 29, 201610 yr I followed the instructions and have Phaze plugins on my GUI (deleted all my old plugins). When I click Plex Media Server it shows installed version as "Not Installed' . If I click install button it comes back as "install file missing". Tried to also manually download .deb file and put in packages but still won't install. Any help appreciated. Running 5.06. Thanks.
July 1, 201610 yr For some reason my emby will no longer work ... Something about a dependency failure will try rebooting unraid. I tried removing and now I cannot install again. July 1, 201610 yr finally got the plugin back on but still big red letters of not installed. Cannot get it to install. Cant see errors why either If you read back a page or two on the thread you'll see why there are problems on V5. Basically Plex have dropped support and the binaries for 32 bit Plex. July 1, 201610 yr Hey everyone, Plex has been updated now. The login method was updated for their new web site layout. Actually it grabs info from their API code now instead of posting to the website directly. This should be more stable even if they update the website in the future. PlexPass login is working, however I can't test if it downloads a plexpass release until they have a plexpass release that is a different version than the public release. When they do release a plexpass only update, i'll revisit the plugin and make sure it properly downloads. It should, but needs verification. For now, however, you can get the latest version again. Unraid 5.x users, no new updates for you unfortunately, and even worse, since they got rid of all older versions, if you lose your current install file you won't be able to reinstall plex on unraid 5 at all anymore. If they do decide to add 32 bit unraid downloads again, a quick change in my plugin will enable those to work, so if you notice any downloads appear, let me know (i don't monitor what they have very closely). Let me know if you come across any Plex plugin related issues! -=PhAzE=- This post explains the problem on V5.
