Extra points for using it in a PCIe x16 slot. to answer my own question, apparently 2.6.31 got an updated module and people are now reporting some success The kernel is 2.6.30 in this latest beta.
October 14, 200916 yr I do not own this card, but I've been stable with 4.5b7 on a 2.6.31.3 kernel for a couple of days now. This should give hope to those with the card and the ability of building their own kernel.

October 15, 200916 yr Ok to get this thread back on topic. Is there anyone out there with this card thats able to compile the kernel and try this out. Or if not able to compile maybe BRiT would be willing to post the files for the compiled kernel for someone to test. Mark

If it's not going to be too much of a pain for BRiT, I'm all for it.

I mean it seemed a bit far fetched that you could think that a thread about a card, in the unRaid forums, could have reached as many posts as it did without it possibly occurring to someone to try the card with unRaid. Still, that's how it came across. No excuses for being anyone responding like a ****, and possibly motivating someone to go out and spend $100+ on something that won't work, though.

You know what, I just re-read what I wrote and you're quite right I blame a lack of sleep in the last 72 hours! My brain was thinking "Anyone get this working yet" and my fingers typed "Anyone try this yet". Whoops
November 9, 200916 yr Well, with Beta-8 out, now's a good time to ask this question again; does anyone have this card working with 4.5 Beta-8 (or newer, if there are no replies in the next few days)? I believe the kernel was updated to one that should be compatible.
November 9, 200916 yr If I recall correctly smino tested with the older kernel. Hopefully can indulge us with another test. I couldn't wait any longer so picked up a cheap sil 1x card from monoprice to hold me out. That will propbably last me a whole 2 months.
November 12, 200916 yr there are reports of it working with 2.6.31-14 over @ http://www.hardforum.com/showpost.php?p=1034883840&postcount=328 until someone with unraid buys the card and builds a dev box and tests it out to get it working, then we'll likely not see support for this card in unraid. the svn drivers on the sourceforge.net site aren't included in the linux kernel to my knowledge so this is about the only way it's going to happen
