bagg3rs
The issue was due to my invalid configuration of Krusader, I had the UNASSIGNED as /mnt/disk rather than /mnt/disks ---------- Afternoon, Fix Common Problems is reporting this error "Invalid folder disk contained within /mnt" I believe it maybe from when I was initially migrating data across and then re-setting array potentially? incorrectly setup app path when I was getting to grips? The folder is empty as seen below (comes up with green highlighting via CLI), I thought I would check with the good folk here on what to do especially being no change Friday Thanks root@Tower:/mnt# ls -la total 32 drwxr-xr-x 8 root root 160 Sep 4 07:58 ./ drwxr-xr-x 18 root root 400 Jun 24 18:31 ../ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 58 Sep 8 14:03 cache/ drwxr-xr-x 2 root root 40 Sep 4 07:58 disk/ drwxrwxrwx 8 nobody users 119 Sep 8 14:03 disk1/ drwxrwxrwx 3 nobody users 60 Sep 3 20:44 disks/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 58 Sep 8 14:03 user/ drwxrwxrwx 1 nobody users 119 Sep 8 14:03 user0/ root@Tower:/mnt# cd disk root@Tower:/mnt/disk# ls root@Tower:/mnt/disk# Edited September 18, 2017 by bagg3rs Quote Link to comment
BobPhoenix
Have you tried to reboot your server? It looks like it might go away when you reboot since /mnt is in RAM and the other folders are created by unRAID itself and Unassigned Devices - except for the folder "disk". 1 Quote Link to comment
bagg3rs
OK thanks that did it, I am sure I rebooted after this installing a USB3.0 card 4 days ago ,after I first starting getting the error but maybe not. Error free and learned about /mnt thanks. Quote Link to comment

You must have some docker mapped to that path so it keeps getting recreated. Quote Link to comment

Here is the relevant portion from that linked post: On 5/26/2017 at 12:03 PM, Squid said: you should post the docker "run" command that will appear when you install / edit the application (you can always make any change and then change it back and hit "Apply" to get the docker run command to appear Click on your Krusader docker and select Edit. Make any change then change it back and click Apply. This will reinstall the docker and should give a result similar to that shown, the docker run command. Copy and paste that into your next post. trurl
I don't see anything in those volume mappings that would create those folders. 4 hours ago, MrE Rocker said: my reason for this error is a video showed me to type /mnt/disk in the UNASSIGNED area where you can rename it.. I just found it right before what u posted.. here is all the info I think u need..Log for_ krusader.PDF The problem is that you've set the host path for /config to be /mnt While it's fixable, I'd suggest uninstalling this, then installing binhex-krusader. Accept the defaults and ADD another path mapping of /mnt/disks to /UNASSIGNED Quote Link to comment

Accept the defaults and ADD another path mapping of /mnt/disks to /UNASSIGNED O wow ok thanks squid I will try that when I get home to my server... I do have one question.. do I have to add another path?? The /mnt I did because I didnt know how to access the UD drives from shares.. Thats y I followed that video... Since iv been on it for almost 30 days I have learned more... If I do have to put that in where does the /mnt/disks go an where does the /UD go?? On plex I figured out how to add different folders to plex webgui without having all folder in one /data folder an every folder add every folder... I will report back tonight to tell u it worked or not.. Thanks again for ur help squid an ur help trurl... Quote Link to comment
Squid
28 minutes ago, MrE Rocker said: Thats y I followed that video The video was probably based upon binhex's flavour of the app. But, instead of adding another path (which is probably what the video showed), you hit "Show More Settings", then modified an existing path (the /config) which means that you stored all of the appdata for the app within /mnt (which will wind up being in RAM) If you want to simply things, then you can simply change the /media mapping from its default of /mnt/user to instead be /mnt Quote Link to comment
MrE Rocker
Hell ya it worked.. i had to reboot the server but im fine with that.. error does not come up when i scan it.. thanks so much for your time an patience to you Squid and you Trurl.. i have one question not related to this form. i am using a older comp i had to run this server and my stats are: ASUS M5A97, AMD FX 4100 Quad-core @3600 MHz, 8GB ram... what i want from this server is a media player and vm for just DVR my movies which what i am doing now but no VM, its to laggy for my DVR to work keeps crashing.. so question is what do i need just to get by for what i want? i am doing nothing more on this server than i said no gaming or anything else... if you cant help please point me to who can for this info.. THANKS ALOT AGAIN Quote Link to comment
trurl
Not sure how my hardware compares but it is several years old now. Are you using Plex for DVR? I use a cache-prefer share for my recording and I can record and playback at the same time. If I want to keep a recording long-term I move it to a cache-no share such as my Movies.
