@alturismo Well suddenly it started tonight and on github i found a topic related to this problem. Only problem now it gives me the error with: No Internet!!!

What can this be? My unraid got internet so this is really weird.

Btw still dont got a cron. I started the command '/bin/bash /app/update.sh' to force webgrabplus to update... but webgrabplus isnt making a cron...

Hi!

I'm trying to get the container up and running but do have an error I don't know how to get it fixed...

This is the error-message while pulling the container:

"Error: failed to register layer: open /defaults/ini/siteini.pack/International/sat.tv.channels.13E-Arabesque.xml: invalid or incomplete multibyte or wide character"

I do use the default-parameters (unraid-gui) with the following changes:
- set the proper network

- add the /data and /config folders.

As the error is within the container ("/defaults/ini/siteini.pack/International/") I don't think this is something I can fix. As the container isn't starting I do not get any log.

Any hint to get this fixed?

I do have posted an issue at github but hope to have a faster response with the unraid-users.

Thank you!

Did you ever get this solved? I'm trying to get this error fixed but...
As there is no answer to our problem in most cases it's easy to solve but I really don't see how to do it.

Kind regards,

Hi - My LinuxServer Unraid WebGrab++ container has just stopped working after 2 years.  The download hangs - my license is valid and I'm running the latest container release.  I'm on Unraid 6.12.8.    I registered to the LinuxServer discord page,  but gave up after my chat kept getting deleted,  much prefer forums.   Any ideas what could cause the download to hang?

Console extract from a manul triggered run:-

root@d10f34ea9245:/config# ./update.sh

            WebGrab+Plus/w MDB & REX Postprocess -- version V5.1.5.0

Fix this issue by switching to tvguide.co.uk,  seems there is a problem with the sky ini files.

For anyone having issues after an initial install, I'd suggest searching the "container-support" channel in linuxserver's Discord. (The Discord invite link is on the Github page.)

There, I saw suggestions that got the container to work for me. For example, someone said to set the MAC address in the container config to your machine's MAC (which on Unraid can be found in Settings -> Network Settings) or to use a randomly generated MAC. I also fonud the command for running the EPG grabbing manually: "docker exec -it webgrabplus bash", and then "run /app/update.sh". Assuming you have added your webgrabplus.com login details correctly into your WebGrab++.config.xml file, the command should work. For other info on setting up my config file, I referenced https://webgrabplusguide.github.io/.

I am having an issue just getting this to install.
See my logged issue on github here.

It seems as though with my setup at least, that the docker (overlay2 + ZFS, UTF-8-strict) just throws up its hands at the character set in

/defaults/ini/siteini.pack/International/sat.tv.channels.13E-Arabesque.xml

That "" is the degree (angle/temperature) sign.

Any way to find a workaround to this so I can install the docker?
