keyman33
Hello good people, I got a red X on my disk6 drive running xfs. Would someone help me to diagnose if the drive is still good? Have attached the smart report thanks in advance tower-smart-20181218-1906.zip Quote Link to comment
Squid
Drive is currently offline, so no SMART report. Post the diagnostics before you reboot. Quote Link to comment
keyman33
Thanks! But, shoot. When I restarted the array (not a reboot), it shows the disk is missing and there's no option to run a smart report. I was able to check filesystem status, but that didn't give me smart report. I am able to get smart reports on all my other disks, but not this one. What's the trick? Quote Link to comment

keyman33
ok, thanks. I did that, swapped bays with another disk and and it seemed to recognize it. Right now it's building parity and I got this diagnostic report. still showing emulation on the GUI tower-diagnostics-20181218-2157.zip Quote Link to comment
