March 6, 20233 yr I hate updates. Everything was working, then I decided to update the Unraid server to the latest build, and all the dockers/plugins/etc. Now whenever Emby DVRs a program from my antenna, the permissions are set wrong and I cannot delete from Emby, most of the time they won't even play. I have to manually go on the server and remove the files. If I go into Unraid Tools->New Permissions, goto the DVR user share and let that run, I can then watch the DVR'd stuff in Emby, but it still won't delete them. I don't know if this is an Emby app issue, or Unraid or what since I updated everything at once. Any suggestions?

June 7, 20242 yr Can it use a proxy to access Internet?, I've tried definind HTTP_PROXY/HTTPS_PROXY and http_proxy/https_proxy as container variables, but the proxy is not used.
January 8, 20251 yr I am unable to access emby with tailscale. I have the unraid plugin installed and running. When I try to connect to emby with the tailscale ip i just get a page that says forbidden. I will add that I've tried adding 100.0.0.0/8 and 0.0.0.0/0 to the lan networks in the network settings in emby but I still get the forbidden page. I guess I'm just dumb and needed to check on allow remote connections in the network settings. I also added subnet routing to my tailscale network and everything is working fine now.
