Me too.  Would love to get this installed.  Any way to get around this and finish the install

You can get the latest version (4.1.22 as of my typing this) running on a Debian/Ubuntu VM by following the steps on the HOOBS official website. I just finished setting it up; it works perfectly, and has a lot of improvements.
