It wont let me change the container port like you were able to do.  Is there some advanced edit mode I need to be in?

you need to go to the top of the container configuration page and toggle basic view to advanced view

Homebridge Port

- Container Port: 51826

- Host Port: 51826

Server Port

- Container Port: 80

Like that, I have access to WebUi with http://192.168.1.254 directly

So I have been trying to get this up and running the only way I can get it to allow GUI access in unraid is to bridge it. When I do that I run into the issue of not being able to access it add it to the home app. If I assign a static IP then I can access the GUI by manually typing the IP and port but it says the bridge service is not running. I have numerous other dockers assigned a static IP in this same subnet. Any assistance and guidance would be much appreciated.

I had the same, i could change the container port value, I had to delete the old mapping completely and create a new one like in the image. It then worked on :8282 for me

The web ui isn't showing any plugins. Has anyone figured out how to get the webui to show plugins or is there some other way to install plugins?

Thanks!

This afternoon, the docker version appear "Not available" in my Unraid server...

How I can correct this ?

What does check for updates on the docker page do?  That message pops up when the system was unable to determine if an update was available or not.  IE: internet problems - it's so complex it's amazing it works as well as it does.

It's OK now... 😯 Thank,

I could use some help: I am trying to add the bridge on my phone but it always goes into timeout. I checked if the port is open using PuTTY RAW connection (at least it doesn't kick me out).
Does someone know how I can test the connection otherwise? Container runs in Bridge network, Port 51826 is mapped to the same port on the host.

Updated to 3.2.8 today and now homebridge will not start, see log below:

Any ideas? Any way to install old version in community apps?

Im having the same issue but i deleted my configs to see if it was that which it isn't so i would stay fast for an update. Now I've got to rebuild my config. This is too stable until this update man I'm annoyed.  Any help please

Screenshot 2020-10-22 at 04.29.09.png

I had the same issues, hope this helps...

so finally got it to load back the accessories but it still doesn't run, I have deleted it from the home app but can't re add it as the bridge doesn't run.

Edit: contained setup pin so deleted move to below post for a fix for this

Contained pin

So finally got sorted, but you will need to Rebuild it from SCRATCH kind of.

1 Delete it from the HomeApp

2 Go into Hoobs go to settings then go to advance backup your config file as you will need it.

3 Remove the Hoobs image from Unraid

4 Then redownload it again it should be 3.29,

5 Use Krusader to go into your app data folder on Unraid find Hoobs go into it delete everything apart from node_modules, ect and backups.

6 Go into the ect folder delete everything Apart from the two folders Persist and Accessories.

7 Go into the Persist folder delete everything in there.

8 Go into the Accessories folder and delete everything in there.

9 Go to the Hoobs UI and start re downloading all of your plugins.

10 Use your saved Config file to rebuild your Hoobs Config

11 It should be up and running now that the Config file for your plugins has been

Hope That helps!

I'm having some trouble getting this up and running. Had some issue with default template values, the webUI would not load.

  • Deleted the server port value, added a new one.
  • container port 80
  • host port 8282
  • changed the webUI to http://[IP]:[PORT:8282]

It loads fine now. But I cannot get the Home app to add the accessory through the QR and the number, I did not add any plugins just to make sure the bridge gets connected and working first. What am I doing wrong?

Hi mate Use Krusader and delete everything in these to folders Persist and Accessories unless you removed the Hoobs folder in Unraid then the deletion of the image only deletes the app it leaves in place the folder and everything thing from previous. PS in the Home App make sure everything thing that was running on the Hoobs server was deleted from the Home app. Let us know how it goes!

I solved it by just setting network type to custom: br0. I don't have webUI in the dropdown but i can just use the url. The only thing is I won't be able to access it outside of my local network. Any ideas how to fix?

I just use an Apple TV or iPad to use stuff outside of my home WiFi range

I can access the WebUI at port 80 simply by giving the docker a fixed IP. This doesn't match what's defined in the docker as there's nothing in the config that I can see to allow it to work on 80. Seems to me that this template is fundamentally broken and because it's defaulting to 80 it won't work without changing the default IP. That's how it looks anyway.

As an aside, before "just trying it," I had been attempting to follow the directions to edit the port (or add a new one after removing the original) without any luck. The setting for Container Port simply doesn't appear even when viewing in advanced mode (Unraid 6.8.3)

image.thumb.png.f300ca540cb9b1a71775bfb0ce5fe6e9.png

Or even after removing the original port:

Hi All

I managed to get this working (Almost) by deleting the "Server" setting for port 80 and creating a new one like this:

image.png.5342ab9adb29bc36fc45b79d51560b53.png

That got me the WebUI and I could start adding plugins....

BUT some seem to need a fixed IP (different than the Unraid servers) and every time I try to change Bridge to Host and writing a free static IP from my LAN

I loose the WebUI and I cant connect to the webUI even if I write the new IP:PORT in Chrome?

image.png.d90a0aa28d97ab78f916299c92bc675f.png

What am I doing wrong?

Any help would be much appreciated

Config:

image.thumb.png.178d872885b2d663d6a52b8c006d15e5.png

I just tried to change the port and now I can NOT get to the UI - I can access the LOG and I can see that HOOBs is running fine?

Does anyone know if I need to delete or change some config in the HOOBS file when changing docker port?

Seems strange that its so fragile 😞

Anyone with something to try?

I can see in the log that its running....fine

But the WebUI is unreachable all the other dockers is fine.

I even tried to do a reboot of the Unraid server (Desperate, been running for some months now)

image.png.b848710971a2df26ad3f1676bebce117.png

different browsers, different PC's

I just did a second install its all running but the UI is still unreachable?

image.thumb.png.2675260946a10eecea350735a3a846b5.png

I even did a fixed http (That worked before?)

image.png.a1b2142641e3d2d25921b2235d6edcf6.png

In the logfile I can see that it is running fine?

image.png.97ae88ab2bf81b748787e66ca3992652.png

So I cant install a new one, and I cant repair the old one ?

Something is preventing the WebUI from working?

(And yes it was buggy to get working for some of us just read this thread,,,, but I had it working)

Update starting from scratch....Even if I can connect to the UI and install plugins I can not connect to HOOBS as a bridge without a fixed IP?

I really need some help getting this running with a fixed IP?

Can anyone help me?

So far the "Custom: br0" didn't work I couldn't connect to the IP

I also tried using default port 8080 on the fixed IP but no success

Funny I am running +20 dockers and 5 VMs but this HOOBS docker has me beaten 😫

Update do I really need to enable this... in order to get this Docker working? no other way?
