  1. I had an Unpaid crash today around noon. I log my Unraid server to my pfSense box see attached for full logs but basically: Oct 27 12:33:02 unraid kernel: nvme nvme0: controller is down; will reset: CSTS=0xffffffff, PCI_STATUS=0xffff Oct 27 12:33:02 unraid kernel: nvme nvme0: Does your device have a faulty power saving mode enabled? Oct 27 12:33:02 unraid kernel: nvme nvme0: Try "nvme_core.default_ps_max_latency_us=0 pcie_aspm=off" and report a bug The server automatically restarted but the cache drive (nvm0) was no longer available. Oct 27 12:36:00 unraid emhttpd: import 30 cache device: no device and the cache drive was not available in the dropdown. So I did a power cycle and it all came back. Any ideas what could be going on with my 1TB SN850 WDC Black cache drive? See attached crash log and diagnostics after restart. Thank you! unraidnas-diagnostics-20221027-2032.zip pfSense_Unraid_2022-10-27_Crash_nvme.txt
  2. So I thought the same because the crash log from June was similar and had the 02:00.0 USB controller. At the time, I unplugged the USB cable from the CyberPower UPS and it seemed to keep the server alive for several months but maybe that's not it. Starting to wonder if it's the Google Coral paired with the frigate-nvidia docker that's causing server crashes.
  3. oh nevermind, I saw in the logs that documentserver has the following message: JWT is enabled by default. A random secret is generated automatically. Run the command "docker exec 1f8227803387 sudo documentserver-jwt-status.sh" to get information about JWT. So I entered the secret returned by that command to the NC OO settings and it worked! To keep it persistent, you need to add an environment variable to the OODS docker template 'JWT_SECRET' and then set it the same in NC OO settings.
  4. Not sure what I changed, but I get this error now when trying to validate ONLYOFFICE on the settings page: I just re-copied over the .key and .crt files from swag with no success. The SECRET in NC OO settings is blank and it always has been. Here is my onlyoffice proxy-conf: ## Version 2021/05/18 # Make sure that your dns has a cname set for onlyoffice named "documentserver" # Make sure that the onlyoffice documentserver container is named "documentserver" server { listen 443 ssl; listen [::]:443 ssl; server_name onlyoffice.*; include /config/nginx/ssl.conf; client_max_body_size 0; #enable for ldap auth, fill in ldap details in ldap.conf #include /config/nginx/ldap.conf; # enable for Authelia #include /config/nginx/authelia-server.conf; location / { #enable the next two lines for http auth #auth_basic "Restricted"; #auth_basic_user_file /config/nginx/.htpasswd; #enable the next two lines for ldap auth #auth_request /auth; #error_page 401 =200 /ldaplogin; # enable for Authelia #include /config/nginx/authelia-location.conf; include /config/nginx/proxy.conf; include /config/nginx/resolver.conf; set $upstream_app OnlyOfficeDocumentServer; set $upstream_port 443; set $upstream_proto https; proxy_max_temp_file_size 2048m; proxy_pass $upstream_proto://$upstream_app:$upstream_port; } }
  5. This happened a lot in April, June this year. It has stopped since then until last night. Luckily I log my unraid box to my pfsense box syslog-ng so I have something to share. Can anyone interpret the log + diagnostics? I updated 6.10->6.11.1 this morning, so the diagnostics may not be 100% accurate. pfSense_Unraid_2022-10-11_Crash.txt unraidnas-diagnostics-20221012-0528.zip
  6. Works fine now in 6.11.1. Not sure if that's a coincidence or an expected change.
  7. My printer (Brother MFC-L2750DW) wouldn't scan to network folder in 6.10 and now it works.
  8. upgraded my backup server to 6.11 so far no operational issues. I do get a blank release notes when I click on the infographic icon?
  9. I've been having monthly, then weekly and now daily crashes of my unraid box. I've captured the last two crashes using syslog-ng on my pfSense box that runs independently I suspect that it's related to my USB hub on which I have the unraid flash drive, my UPS backup and a Google Coral. The common failure in both logs is: unraid kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: WARN Set TR Deq Ptr cmd failed due to incorrect slot or ep state. unraid kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: WARN Successful completion on short TX unraid kernel: xhci_hcd 0000:02:00.0: ERROR Transfer event TRB DMA ptr not part of current TD ep_index 2 comp_code 1 The devices on 02:00 are: See attached for the unraid diagnostics and the two unraid crash logs captured by pfSense syslog-ng. Note: I've unplugged the Cyber Power System, Inc. PR1500LCDRT2U UPS on 02:00.0 Bus 001 Device 002 Port 1-5 in an attempt to isolate the issue. This is reflected in the diagnostics captured. unraidnas-diagnostics-20220710-1032.zip unraid_crash_log_2.log unraid_crash_log1.log
  10. I've been using the ASM1064 for about a year now no issues.
  11. Wow third attempt at downloading the iso worked! It was a corrupt ISO!!!! Thanks a million. Not sure what was going on that could cause this corruption. I did a memtest on the server before I started tinkering in Unraid. I've got a very old SSD in there now to just vet out things before I buy new drives. Maybe that's the issue? Either way. Thanks again for suggesting the corrupt iso.
  12. Nevermind, just ran the exact same script a second time and it worked? Not sure what happened, but works thanks! Script location: /tmp/user.scripts/tmpScripts/dumb_vbios/script Note that closing this window will abort the execution of this script You have selected this device to dump the vbios from 01:00.0 VGA compatible controller: NVIDIA Corporation GM107GL [Quadro K620] (rev a2) This does look like a valid GPU to me. Continuing ......... Checking if location to put vbios file exists Vbios folder already exists I will try and dump the vbios without disconnecting and reconnecting the GPU This normally only works if the GPU is NOT the Primary or the only GPU I will check the vbios at the end. If it seems wrong I will then retry after disconnecting the GPU Defining temp vm with gpu attached Domain 'dumpvbios' defined from /tmp/dumpvbios.xml Starting the temp vm to allow dump Domain 'dumpvbios' started Waiting for a few seconds ..... Stopping the temp vm Domain 'dumpvbios' destroyed Removing the temp vm Domain 'dumpvbios' has been undefined Okay dumping vbios file named quadro_k620.rom to the location /mnt/user/domains/vbios/ vbios seems to be correct. All done :)
  13. So I ran these commands with a 1 instead of a 6 in the unraid console. They didn't return any value. Then I ran the dump_vbios script from SIO's github page with the input for the VGA location and file paths for the rom. Still it returns this. Usually on my main server it either works right away or does some kind of a power cycle where it prompts me to hit the power button on the computer. 14. Nearly identical between both VMs. Differences are MAC address, TPM, uuid, iso and nvram. So no shockers here. I swear there is something spooky going on here and I wonder if it's related to my HP z230 SFF BIOS.
  15. When I’m pressing the key it immediately switches back to the previous screen. it’s not like I can’t press any key and it runs out of time. It’s like it refuses to boot from the media. Just manually selecting the wireless keyboard/mouse dongle to add it to the VM at the bottom. Good idea I’ll get back to you on that!
  16. I can say that it works with the 516.25 Quadro drivers. You can successfully pass a Quadro K620 to a Win11 VM in Unraid! I did have to custom make a rom file for it though and I wasn't able to use SpaceInvaderOne's script to create it either. I got lucky using something off of TechPowerUp and taking to it with HxD to remove the header as per SpaceInvaderOne's video. See attached for the .rom nvidia_quadrok620_194395_dump.rom
  17. Just tried a Windows 11 VM and it works... very confusing. Somehow Windows 10 is a no go.
  18. I have the exact same issue right now. I probably should have just posted in here:
  19. So rebuilt the VM around what you said on Q35 and then typed 'exit' in the DOS style shell which entered the VM BIOS. I then selected 'Boot Manager' and clicked on 'UEFI QEMU DVD-ROM QM00001' in the picture below. The screen changes to black and says again "Press any..." and it just brings me back to the same selection in the BIOS. Super frustrating because I've built so many Unraid VMs on other computers without any issue.
  20. what exactly do you mean by installation interface? again, do you mean the shell? Do you mean turn off and on again within the unraid GUI? Can you be more specific?
  21. Picked up a z230 sff workstation to use as a backup server. I'd like to run a VM on it in windows 10. I'm able to do so with Ubuntu: See vm log attached. But I can't achieve this to save my life for Windows 10. It's the dreaded boot up loop I've read everything I can on here and reddit, but nothing seems to work. The attached win10 vm logs seem the same (no apparent errors?). And yes the .iso is from microsoft. and I've tried multiple .iso including ones I've successfully used on my main unraid server. What's going on? See diagnostics attached. ubuntu_vm_logs.txt win10_vm_logs.txt unraidbackup2-diagnostics-20220617-0922.zip
  22. Has anyone successfully configured crowdsec with their reverse proxy to parse through nextcloud logs and block suspicious nextcloud login attempts. I've followed these guides to setup crowdsec for swag(nginx) to work with authelia and vaultwarden: https://www.linuxserver.io/blog/blocking-malicious-connections-with-crowdsec-and-swag https://docs.ibracorp.io/crowdsec/crowdsec/unraid/traefik-bouncer/authelia-collection https://docs.ibracorp.io/crowdsec/crowdsec/unraid/traefik-bouncer/vaultwarden-collection https://github.com/ergin/nginx-cloudflare-real-ip (important if you're using cloudflare) However, I'd like to also have the crowdsec agent and my nginx swag bouncer block malicious nextcloud logins. The current IBRACORP solution doesn't seem clear to me. I'd rather know which logs to parse from the nextcloud appdata folder and which collections to use in crowdsec. Or is nextcloud in of itself it's own nginx and I just need to parse the nextcloud internal nginx logs?
  23. good point. thank you for your insight. I was once able to see a list of gpu architectures from nvidia with official VM support, but I can't find it anywhere. This K620 would be a Maxwell chip I think. I wonder if I could bottom this out that way?
