  1. Dear Squid, this is a very useful information which I did not have before. I only followed the tutorial by space invader to set up krusader and like he suggests it is quite comfortable to work with. But makes no sense for "organizing" (copy or move files/directories) your data. However, I was using Krusader instead of SMB Shares on another Windows client because I have read somewhere, that SMB could be much slower in moving files than doing the operation directly on the server (since files need to go through the windows client while copying/moving). But is there a possibility to organize the shares (erase, copy, move files and subfolders) directly on unraid avoiding the problems above? In Shares / User Shares I can only manage the parent directories, no file or folder movement possible or even delete files or (sub)folders. kind regards
  2. Of course. I know that. I did not say anything about the mover. I moved manually from one share to another with Krusader. However, also the mover was not working at all for some other situations, where I have set up Cache=Yes. Files kept staying on the cache!
  3. Furthermore: When having one file on hdd_cache Pool (download user share on one single HDD) and trying to move this file to a different user share on the array, the file is not moved to the array. The file stays on hdd_cache Pool disk, but the directory of user share is created on hdd_cache Pool disk therefore! The user share on the array has no cache option set (use cache pool is set to no). I think this could also cause data loss if something then happens, e.g. with the single cache_pool disk! I did a stop/start of the array => no change. I did a reboot => no change. It is also causing problems when setting up docker and afterwards trying to move, e.g. appdata folder to a cache disk.
  6. Also changes to user share settings are not reflected, e.g. a user share is dedicated to disk2. If you then change it e.g. to a new cache pool only it still writes to disk2. Fix Common Problems even produces a warning, that there is something wrong ... Please also refer to:
  7. The suggested solution by trurl was related to BTRFS file system, correct? xfs_repair status: Not available =>Check Phase 1 - find and verify superblock... superblock read failed, offset 0, size 524288, ag 0, rval -1 fatal error -- Input/output error The drive has pending sectors .... and cannot be mounted .. Perhaps dead drive ... eventually not possible to recover? nasa-smart-20210830-1224.zip
  8. I cannot follow the recovery process since this failed drive has filesystem XFS. Is there a different way to start recivery?
  9. Yes, that problem just occured. I will try to solve.
  10. System crashed now, needed some time to boot again and now stucks at mounting disks ... can I safely shutdown now ? Diagnostics attached ... nasa-diagnostics-20210829-2140.zip
  11. Dear team, I am really going crazy here with moving from my Synology NAS to my first unraid server. Added a new SSD cache pool and changed the cache pool settings for some user shares in the share settings. e.g. for the appdata folder (since I would like to have my appdata on SSD Cache). Of course I stopped all container and the docker at all before. However weather the mover is moving the files to the new cache nor new docker installations are going to the new cache pool. Everything reamains as it. This problem could be relatetd to the following topics: kind regards
(ausnahmsweise mal ... ).
  16. I have set Read/Write Slave for: /mnt/disks/ /mnt/remotes/ And Read/Write for: /mnt/user/ This was adviced in space invader one video tutorial.
  17. Well, I just restarted the whole server and tried another copy of files and the transfer started to the correct disk this time (I did not change anything n the sharesettings after restart). By the way, meanwhile I also have split level set to split as needed (before restart too) and this did not make any difference.
  18. Please refer to my topic here: I am running into the same problems again and again with different configurations. Also tried to exclude one disk, but nevertheless Krusader fills up the disk and does not jump to next disk in array. While seemst to be working well via SMB file transver from another machine. There must be something wrong either with Krusader or with Unraid 6.10RC1.
  19. OK. Thanks for sharing. Helped me to solve the problem. Was looking a long time for a solution now. The setting should not be on Advanced settings => should be on top of Basic settings. However .. sabnzbd is now working like hell with nordvpn and nordlynx protocoll.
  20. OK. I have now mounted the Unraid Usershare on my Synology NAS and copy the files from Synology to Unraid. And indeed - now unraid is writing to disk2 when limit of free space is reached. Another difference is that I created a user to access the share from Synology NAS ... (with Krusader I did not need to add any user). However, somewhere seems to be an problem - with Krusader or unraid itself. Would still like to know, where the problem is originated. kind regards
  21. OK. Here we go, latest diagnostic file attached. I will try to initiate copy to unraid server from mounted share at my synology NAS later on. nasa-diagnostics-20210824-0853.zip
  22. Actually only try via network .. copy from mounted network smb share (synology share) to unraid. Does krusader get the changes correct without restarting when I change share settings in unraid while krusader is running? What settings to you need to know? The picture shows the settings I used following the video from spaceinvader. Everything else is unchanged.
  23. Hi, I now tried again with split level=split as needed but behavior is the same, krusader fills completely up disk1 and does not jump to disk2. Stops with error not enough space! Really annoying.
  24. OK. Did try to change split level to 3 again, but still does not work. Minimum Free Space is still set to 90GB but however, Disk1 is written completely full and Unraid does nit switch to disk2!
