I am here more than 6 months later for the same reason. No joy with noVNC in Firefox. Still works great in Chrome and Microsoft Edge.

Thank you for that clarification. I am happier knowing that even if my kid jumps on my mouse at exactly the wrong time it will not format this drive with Destructive Mode disabled. It would be more intuitive if the button were physically disabled, as the mount button is physically disabled when drives are passed through.

As in the first screenshot I shared today, this is how my interface normally looks: In order to show you the partitions as you requested in your first reply, I had to toggle some of the checkboxes in the Settings for Dev 1 and that's when it switched to the one you just showed. I have disabled destructive mode just like in your screenshot but now mine is still back where I started today. I'll reboot the server tomorrow and let you know if anything changes, but if you were right about the issue being that partition 3 is an LVM, it should be pretty easy to recreate this in a test. I may install another NVME drive just to test if I can recreate it on another drive.

The button is still orange. It still has mouse-over effects when I move my mouse over it. I will take your word for it that the button isn't active. There is a part of me that wants to test it, but not badly enough to actually know what would happen if I press it. Thank you for the simple solution and quick response.

Oddly, this didn't work. Not sure if it requires a reboot for setting to take effect but after disabling Destructive Mode in Settings and refreshing the disks and configuration the format button is still there. I will try to make a note of whether it goes away after the next reboot.

Now that's weird because it's showing only 2 partitions so I'm not sure why the third would appear. There is a Debian install running on the VM. I double-clicked the arrows and nothing really changed. I also ran fdisk -l to look how many partitions the disk had and it showed the following. The drive seems to be functioning correctly and everything; the only issue is that I don't really like having the "format" button there because it gives me angst. goliath-diagnostics-20230722-1405.zip

I am not sure what is happening here. I have 2 drives passed using Unassigned Devices but the Samsung 970 SSD shows up twice. I have marked it as Passed through and Disable mount button and disabled Show partitions but the disk still shows up in my list (as the third option in the picture) and the Format button is still active. This makes me uncomfortable. I have passed the entire disk through to a VM and I would rather not have the ability to accidentally format the drive. "Dev 2" is a separate SSD that is passed through in the same way to a VM that uses it and it does not show the partition as a separate device. Dev 1 is an NVME m.2 SSD and the Dev 2 is a 2.5 inch Silicon Power SATA SSD. Any ideas if there is a way I can get that NVME1n1p3 device off of this list?

Serious thank you for this! I was banging my head against the wall trying to figure this out. I wasn't sure when it stopped working, but your solution got it working again on my server behind my Synology router.

To be fair, "unsupported partition layout" is never supposed to be a part of a rebuild either unless you happened to have been unfortunate enough to be replacing or upgrading a drive during the brief life of version 6.11.2. After the 12-hour array rebuild completed for me but before I discovered this was bug country, I also formatted a new drive and lost a couple of days worth of data. I am glad this was quickly resolved.

Mine shares a UPS with another computer, my router, modem, VOIP, and some other devices so when the power goes down I have about 8 minutes to haul ass and get everything safely shut down because I haven't figured out how to have Unraid shut down automatically (or become aware of the power outage) yet. How do you get that power consumption info in the info bar? Mine doesn't have that at all and I wonder if it is because your server is aware of the UPS, but mine is not. I get my power usage stats from the smart plug I have the server connected to.

After reverting to v3.31.1 again, I deleted the servers.json file in appdata/gluetun and restarted it; this time it connects without issue (attached). But when I update to the latest version again, it fails again.

I have been using City: Vancouver for months, but when I noticed the container wouldn't start today, I tried changing to different cities and had no luck. Then I changed to region "Canada East" just in case some particular servers were down but still get no love. Thank you for the help. Where can I find the GluetunVPN.log file? The only file located in my appdata\gluetun folder is servers.json I tried reverting to a few prior versions and receive different connection errors. I'm starting to think this may be a problem with Windscribe changing something, but I did test and confirm that my Windscribe account is still active and functioning. My Unraid server updates Docker containers every Friday night, but I wouldn't think that a different Docker update could impact this one since that's not how Docker is supposed to work except for containers that rely on this one, but I would expect those to fail to start since GluetunVPN is stopped.

Good day. After the latest GluetunVPN update it will no longer start. I use it with Windscribe and have been using it alongside Unraid 6.10.3's VPN Manager for several months without issue. I went to sleep last night with everything working well and after auto-updates were installed last night, this morning I receive this error in the log upon trying to restart the container. I have restarted the Unraid server and the error is the same after. Can anyone help me to get it going again? I would be grateful. Several of my Docker containers rely on GluetunVPN to work properly.

It's averaging about 125 watts when idle. Peak usage was 229 watts. Over the past week, it has averaged about 2.6 kWh per day.

Goliath is a planned rebuild/upgrade of my first Unraid server. I discovered Unraid a couple of years ago while looking for an alternative to my Windows Hyper-V server. While preparing to make the switch, I read through the "Fun Things to do with Unraid during quarantine" post on Reddit at (https://www.reddit.com/r/unRAID/comments/fqmuwy/fun_things_to_do_with_unraid_during_quarantine/ My original server was running Windows Server 2019 DataCenter in core mode (no GUI) on a Dell PowerEdge T430 server which I had purchased from eBay. The primary role of this server was Hyper-V, and I had some SMB shares which I used to store backup data on my network. I used several different VMs because I like to tinker with Windows and Linux and quickly be able to fire up new instances, test them, and later destroy them. Disk performance on the Dell T430 was poor because of an unbearably slow RAID controller, but it had tons of RAM and I tried to keep everything running in RAM when possible. Eventually I started storing the VMs on an SSD and backing them up to the HDD, but I wanted the freedom to mix and match hard drives to expand when needed, so I decided to install Unraid to see how I liked it. I installed Unraid 6.9.2 and started creating the setup that I had envisioned. At this point I needed Unraid to primarily host my VMs, store backup data and recovery images for all of the computers on my network. I noticed better disk performance in the Unraid array right away, so I started adding docker images and building up my media stack and shares to add functionality beyond being just that of a normal backup and virtualization server. After running Unraid on the Dell T430 for a few months, I was able to better identify what my needs and wants were for this server, so I bought some additional components and upgraded/refreshed the system which brings me to my current build. To keep costs down, I kept the dual CPUs from the Dell and the 192GB of RAM and moved it all into a new case, new motherboard, and upgraded some of the hard drives. The Unraid and various Reddit communities have made volumes of data available to help quickly identify and resolve different issues as they come up and it is rare that I have encountered something that didn't have a readily avaialble solution archived on the internet that was ready to be found. I really enjoy being a part of this community. I am still using the GluetunVPN docker in addition to the new Wireguard VPN implmentation because GluttunVPN lets me connect using my third-party VPN provider's different servers and randomly selects a different server from a pool each time I make the connection. When I tried to setup this same function in the VPN Manager of Unraid, I could only enter one peer endpoint instead of a pool of them. I also use VPN Manager to configure my remote access tunnels so my mobile devices and other computers can connect to the LAN while I'm on the road, but I find that the combination of the docker image and VPN Manager best suits my needs. The server has two onboard gigabit ethernet ports which I have connected to my router which is firewalled behind my ISP's 2 gig internet connection. Using Unraid and my Plex stack, I have been able to save the $15 each month that a Spotify subscription used to cost and I can stream my own music to my car through Android Auto and Plexamp to listen to ad-free music as I drive. This alone makes my Unraid server worthwhile, and I justify the expenses because it will have fully paid for itself within about 10 years as long as nothing needs to be replaced or upgraded. I am always on the lookout for new and fun things to do with this server, and haven't found a way to max it out, so I am open to suggestions or ideas if anything stands out that I have missed. The upgrade from 6.9.2 to 6.10.0 and then 6.10.1 and finally 6.10.2 went off without a hitch. I read the release notes and didn't encounter any issues. Sorry to resurrect this thread but does this still work in 2022 with version 6.9.2 of Unraid? I was thinking about dropping this command into UserScripts to run at array startup unless there is a better way to handle it these days. I have encountered my server grinding to a halt after a month (and spamming my syslog/SMTP server with hundreds of error messages) a couple of times now and traced the problem back to the issue with nginx and worker process 'xxxx' exited on signal 6.
