  1. Hello, I set up a new docker owntrackers recorder and have an issue i did have it connect once with owntracker but stopped and im getting this error OwnTracks HTTP response: 408, with error: Unknown Exception any idea what it might be and how to resolve it?
  2. Hi thanks for the reply I set it up about the same as you posted it works for a while but then on its own goes into an error : warnOwnTracks: OwnTracks HTTP response: 408, with error: Unknown Exception. This show in Hubitat Owntracker and recorder does not connect any longer. it's external IP screen shot of my configuration.
  3. Hi i just installed the Unraid Docker OwnstracksRecorder and have Owntracks on my Samsung phone both running in http, in my log file for OwnstracksRecorder in Unraid I'm getting these errors below. Is there something I'm missing in the configurations. I'm trying to link it with my app and Hubitat as a presence device which is working fine on that end but missing something in docker. These are the instruction in the Hubitat app For user cards to be used in the recorder, a JSON user card needs to be saved to: 'STORAGEDIR/cards/USER/USER.json' on the recorder, where 'USER' is the member name. Enable debug logging for the OwnTracks app, trigger a manual location, and save the JSON from the debug message of: 'OwnTracks: For recorder cards, save this JSON to 'STORAGEDIR/cards/...' to a file named 'USER.json'. Or use Generate OwnTracks User Card to create and save the JSON card to be stored in the above folder. 7. Hello not sure if this is the right place I have myself in a bit of a jam. I tried to follow the forum instruction to upgrade my cache drive all went good until and restarted my docker my plex would not start up so I decided to delete it and reinstall. finally I got it to install but only with the movie share when I add my music share i got this error in the log docker run -d --name='plex' --net='host' --privileged=true -e TZ="America/New_York" -e HOST_OS="Unraid" -e HOST_HOSTNAME="Unraid" -e HOST_CONTAINERNAME="plex" -e 'VERSION'='docker' -e 'PLEX_CLAIM'='' -e 'PUID'='99' -e 'PGID'='100' -e 'UMASK'='022' -l net.unraid.docker.managed=dockerman -l net.unraid.docker.webui='http://[IP]:[PORT:32400]/web/index.html' -l net.unraid.docker.icon='https://raw.githubusercontent.com/linuxserver/docker-templates/master/linuxserver.io/img/plex-logo.png' -v '/mnt/user/Media/TV/':'/tv':'rw' -v '/mnt/user/Media/Movies/':'/movies':'rw' -v '':'music':'rw' -v '/mnt/user/music/':'music':'rw' -v '/mnt/user/appdata/plex':'/config':'rw' 'lscr.io/linuxserver/plex:latest' docker: Error response from daemon: invalid volume specification: '/mnt/user/music/:music:rw': invalid mount config for type "bind": invalid mount path: 'music' mount path must be absolute. See 'docker run --help'. The command failed. this goes the same for my picture shares if I just do the movie share all is fine. Any InSite on what I'm doing wrong Lou
  8. Thank you but i do have it running on 2.5 gig now.
  9. Hi thanks it does show up under interface Rules as eth2 and 3. can you tell me if they are backward compatible to a 2.5 or are they just 1 GB and 10GB. my PC for now has a 2.5GB card in it I'm going to up it to a 10gb card soon. Also should it not be able to pick up an IP address? no matter if i shut the onboard nics off or on the 10GB card dose not pick up an IP address on boot up in Unraid. Thanks Lou
  10. Hi I see this an older post but was hoping to get some input. I have a Supermicro X11SPM-F and installed a Dell HN10N Broadcom 57810S Dual Port 10GBASE-T Network Adapter but when plugged into it it wont pick up an ip address system doesn't seem to recognize it is there a setting I'm missing. lou
  11. Hi I ran into a new problem when upgrading my mother board I removed a super micro mother board x11SAE that ran great with 2 LSI SAS9207-8i cards I replaced the board with another Super Micro board x11SPM-F and installed one LSI card in it and plug the other 2 SAS cable right into the mother board and no matter what setting I tried the board would just loop and not pick up my usb drive nor could I get into the cmos setting until I removed the LSI card, then I could boot up from the USB and once again access the Cmos setting. Does anyone have any idea if there might be a setting I'm missing on this board or is there a compatibility issue. I did try the tape trick with no luck there nice cards not sure why they refuse to work in this board and where plug and play in the other board. Any input would be appreciated. lou
  12. Hi thanks for the past info the fans worked great. Could you tell what model cpu cooler you are using in the pic I have a Noctua cooler but doesn’t seem to keep up with plex or heavy use. thanks in advance lou
  13. Hi I've had a few issues doing an upgrade but managed to get most everything back up and running with a rebuild and new drives but I still have one issues with the md1 drive as per the attached syslog May 10 07:57:38 Unraid kernel: REISERFS error (device md1): vs-5150 search_by_key: invalid format found in block 347719137. Fsck? May 10 12:35:46 Unraid root: Fix Common Problems: Error: Unable to write to disk1 Is there a sulution should I run FSCK to repair it? this is a new drive. Thanks lou unraid-syslog-20190510-1249.zip
  14. Thank you for the quick reply Lou
  15. Hello, due to my bad luck while upgrading my system with a new mother board and replacing a four fan set up to a 3 120 mm fan set I ran into a misfortune with 4 of my drives, the case I have is a Norco 4220 and upon restarting the system found that the second row of drive where not showing up in the array. Looking into it further and reading information on the web come to realize that there was an issue with the back plane on the second row (which many have experience with the older back plane). I went a step further to double check having an older drive I tried it in the first 3rd and fourth row with no issue show up fine then i installed it into the second row with the problem back plane and sure enough fried that drive instantly. Contacted Norco with this issue reading that they have replaced the back planes with new rev. model still haven't heard back from them on the issue. Anyway I did read about shrinking the array and i'm waiting on 3 new 4 tb drives. Question is i have drives 0,1,2,3 lost 4,5,6,7 and still have 8,9,10 when i remove the fried 4,5,6,7 and do the new config do i have to put all the remaining good drive back in the same exact slot meaning the good drives would be in 0,1,2,3,8,9,10. Sorry for the long post just trying to be clear. Any input would be great time to move forward. Lou
  16. Thank you for the reply, what part number and model are your 120mm fans? I have 12 drives with everything counted in and getting ready to install a super micro x11sae-o board with intel I7 7700k cpu. Also have the same case Norco 4224
  17. Hi I was looking for some input on replacing my Norco 4224 case stock noisy 80 mm fans with some 120 mm fans and also replacing the back fans with something quieter. I have a new fan wall coming from Norco but not to sure on what will work to replace the stock fans and quiet the system down. I have 10 drives running as of now. Thanks in advance for any input or advice. Lou
  18. Hi looks good I'm in the process of changing my fans waiting on the fan wall for the 120 mm . Could you tell me what fans you went with Mid and back also how many drive are you running i'm about to order some fans ? what temps are you getting with the larger fans. Thanks Lou
  19. So it seems that disabling VM solved the problem for now no more error messages flooding the syslog for the last 6 hours. I'll have to move the cards around into different slots to see if that helps and purchase some LSI cards I do want to have the VM option for future. Forgot to mention the bios is up to date. Thanks Lou
  20. Thank you for the reply. Do you think replacing the pci card I have (Marvell) with a different type of cards possibly LSI, would possibly resolve this problem? for now I shut of the VM to see how it reacts but I would like to have the VM option for future. does using pcie_aspm=off have any operation effects or is this masking the error and it still going on in the background. I will try all other option in the attached post above but at this point not sure what is the best route moving forward is. should I look at a different motherboard ? Thanks again for the input. Lou
  21. Its filling my log file full ,then a full memory error in the syslog and nothing else is logged until i reboot. I just attached my diagnostics zip file. I had no error with the other board only when I did the change over.
  22. sorry it now attached should i shut down the server in the meantime? Lou

  24. Hi all, I've been checking all over for a good replacement motherboard for my system. I now run a supermicro board Super C2SEE with excellent results for the past 5 yrs or so. I already own a spare intel 1151 I7 6700K CPU along with a set of Corsair 16 GIG 4x4 CMK16GX4M4A2800C16 non-ecc, unbuffered, unregistered RAm that I would like to utilize. I would like to replace my board with another Supermicro board that will except the CPU and Ram I have. Any suggestion would be very helpful and appreciated Lou
