  1. +1 for this. Would be nice to quickly turn off & on the node, since I don't need this up all the time. Will be just that little extra bit of security. FYI I do realize I could just logout in the interim. Thanks for making & maintaining this plugin BTW!
  2. Curious. @bonienl Is there a way to split off Unraid Management UI to a different VLAN than the shares/array/storage? Currently I have it on a USER vlan but would love to split it off to a MGMT vlan if possible. Thanks!
  3. Yes. Commander Core XT is the official name. I just shortened as XT was the key differentiator... No I get it. I have the 2 temp probes setup but the accuracy is not as finite as I'd like. For example the probe near/touching my HDDs shelf reads 29c white the other near the back of the case reads 26c while SMART reads 35c on the drives itself. This is why I was curious if you've come up with a way to use userscripts to send script chnages to the docker config file based on Unraid system parameters. Seems might not be possible at the moment I guess
  4. thanks for this great plugin to get fan control and other sensor for my Supermicro H12. Question, the fan control area is grouping only fans 1-4 and then FANA. This doesn't work well for my board as I have 7 Fan headers. 1-5 and then FANA & FANB. Is it possible to break these out all into their own control? To get even more granular it would be great if we could also choose the sensor which affects which group (ie CPU for CPU fans). Maybe I overlooked it. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!
  5. @bonienl Thanks for your work on these plugins. Have been a great help! Curious. Would it be possible to incorporate the liquidctl drivers into your System Auto Fan. Would add some great fan control hardware abilities. For example, Corsair Commander Pro is native but The Commander Core XT is not and doesn't show in the plugin. This is the successor to the Pro (as that's been discontinued), and it's available through their drivers. There's a couple ported dockers for it, but the problem is these will only allow temperature rules from the included probes or manual percentage setting vs lie your native plugin which takes readings from the drives and applies rules/curves based on them. Just a thought/feature request. Not sure how hard it'd be to implement. Thanks!
  6. Thanks @mplogas for creating this container. I wonder, is there a way to script this to get temperatures from the hard drives themselves from unraid? I have the Commander XT which I've found out is not native to unraid (vs the pro) and can't be controlled by dynamix fan auto control. Therefore your plugin has been a great workaround, but the temperature sensors aren't the most accurate to how hot the actual drives are getting. Thoughts?
  7. @limetech You mention that a future update will allow adding special vdev's from the Unraid GUI ZFS solution, but will this mean on 6.12 release pools which have special vdev's (ie Metadata) won't import into the official implementation? Or they'll import fine, but you just can't create them though the GUI? Thanks for all that your doing on this btw!
  8. @ljm42 copy. Thanks for looking into it!... Now on to another thread figuring out why nginx is delaying my boot 5mins (the other big jump in timestamps). Cheers!
  9. Hey @ljm42, Thanks for all the work you do on your plugin! 10 seconds per and 50s overall is not a big delay, so thanks for fixing. Only thing is, I'm still seeing 30s in the logs on version 2022.11.02.0859. Do you know why that would be? ### [PREVIOUS LINE REPEATED 1 TIMES] ### Nov 17 22:29:00 Westcotts root: Executing hook script: post_plugin_checks Nov 17 22:29:00 Westcotts root: plugin: installing: dynamix.unraid.net.plg Nov 17 22:29:00 Westcotts root: Executing hook script: pre_plugin_checks Nov 17 22:29:00 Westcotts root: plugin: running: anonymous Nov 17 22:29:00 Westcotts root: Installing dynamix.unraid.net.plg 2022.11.02.0859 with Unraid API 2.53.0 Nov 17 22:29:00 Westcotts root: plugin: running: anonymous Nov 17 22:29:00 Westcotts root: Checking DNS... 10. @NLS I think it was an oversight about people not having internet during boot. There's probably a decent amount between the people (like myself) who use a VM to run router software, people who have an offline box, or other networking or other small blockages until boot. For the VM group, I'm sure it wouldn't be too tough to add a setting to delay these checks until system boots, or some other possible workarounds. Guess it depends on if they see this as something worth solving or not. In their defense, this is only an issue during testing times or a power blip because I leave my box on 24/7 (as do the majority I think). Good to hear I'm not the only one having these issues though. Cheers!
  11. I agree. Ive noticed this check adds at least 3 mins to the boot time if internet is down because it's being run from a VM from the same server. @ljm42 Is there another method, which is possible, without these long delays? Also, it seems that I'm getting a 5min jump between these 2 steps: emhttpd: shcmd (21): /etc/rc.d/rc.nginx start and Starting Nginx server daemon... So does this also mean nginx is timing out too? Any help/insight would be appreciated as I'd love to get my boot times to something reasonable if possible. Thanks!
  12. Hey Atoz, I followed the same video too and had the same permissions issues you did on the shares of symlinks he recommends. Not sure if something changed in the plugins after @SpaceInvaderOne created his awesome tutorials. I solved it by changing the permissions of my ZFS top level mount to 775 vs 755 (it is now by default) through Unpaid terminal. This allowed it to get read & write permissions vs just read over SMB. Not 100% this is the right thing I should be doing to make it work, but it is a quick solution. There has to be a better way to share these pools though, as the other gotcha I came into is that the symlink (therefore ZFS storage pool) is limited by the size of the array drive space vs the actual size of the pool. ie 250GB vs 50TB
