  1. Now that overbyrn is out of the plugin game, any chance on a dropbox plugin?
  2. localhost would only be used if you were trying to connect from within your unRAID, no? have you tried the ip address of your server instead? i.e. 192.168.0.3:8887
  3. Have you looked at this thread? http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=33417.0
  4. Thank you for your explanation PhAzE, that did the trick
  5. guys, been running these for months but today i decided to update sickbeard in-app and it failed to restart. On attempting to start it in the plugin GUI i get: Sick-Beard: sudo -u nobody python /mnt/cache/apps/sickbeardtest/installnew1/SickBeard.py --daemon --port 8004 --datadir /mnt/cache/apps/sickbeardtest/datanew1 --pidfile /var/run/sickbeard/sickbeard.pid > /dev/null 2>&1 root@Ruby:/mnt/cache/apps/sickbeard# PID not created, application did not start for some reason I have rebooted and even change config and install directories to clone a completely fresh git pull, but it still will not load. Is there something else that i need to clear out before this will work? syslog shows: Nov 18 08:55:52 Ruby sudo: root : TTY=pts/0 ; PWD=/mnt/cache/apps/sickbeard ; USER=nobody ; COMMAND=/usr/bin/python /mnt/cache/apps/sickbeardtest/installnew1/SickBeard.py --daemon --port 8004 --datadir /mnt/cache/apps/sickbeardtest/datanew1 --pidfile /var/run/sickbeard/sickbeard.pid I've also noticed that when i changed directories in couch potato and installed fresh from github (i.e. changed config and install directories within the plugin) it still keeps my previous settings. Do these plugins have other locations stored for files? as i cannot seem to get clean, new installs working. Am i not right in thinking that if i change the install/config directories within a plugin it should start a completely fresh version of that application? Info seems to be being taken from somewhere else as well.
  6. I've just noticed that there is version 2.83 for transmission but the plugin does not show an update.
  7. You either need to set a folder as cache only or proceed it with a . if you don't want mover to move it. Ie .apps
  8. That error with version not showing in headphones is a symptom of the influencer plugin, mine had fixed that problem. Are you sure you're using my plugin posted on page one of this thread? The cookie problem appears to only be in Safari, so not the end of the world. It is definitely your plugin, but there might be some files leftover from the influencer install. Perhaps some some in the data folder is interfering, as the install folder comes straight from a clean github pull. I'll play around with it a bit more...
  9. Was there ever a fix found for headphones stopping unraid webgui from loading besides deleting it's cookies after every use? Also it's update feature is broken when using this version of the plugin. Tried a clean install and same issue. unRAID states it's on version: 88af84579c9aa011134f9f1707b7ecc536c49e58 but headphones webgui shows:
  10. Glad to see you back and updating overbyrn.....another unsung hero in an unraid community that is better off
  11. A few google searches show up a couple of suggestions, will this help? https://forum.transmissionbt.com/viewtopic.php?f=3&t=10780#p50833 https://forum.transmissionbt.com/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=12286#p56818 Here is a closed ticket from their website: https://trac.transmissionbt.com/ticket/3686 Here is the code change: https://trac.transmissionbt.com/changeset/11686
  12. Transmission working as well as influencer's plugin, which is always a good start The only issue i have that seems to have been carried over from plugins is that, when it is stopped and restarted it has to verify certain torrents and attempts to download a very old torrent that fails as it's not registered any more. It's as though there isn't enough time for it to update it's resume files and the config file. It's also the same if i attempt to update say the upload limit via the gui. When it's restarted it will always take the settings from the settings file that is hardcoded with the initial speed. How do i Transmission to update it's own files? BTW, if people are getting you will need to untick "use authorisation" or add your ip address to the settings config
  13. got this on version 5 of the plugin: file /boot/packages/pyOpenSSL-0.13-i486-1ponce.txz: downloading from http://ponce.cc/slackware/slackware-14.0/packages/pyOpenSSL-0.13-i486-1ponce.txz ... 2014-05-19 09:07:31 URL:http://ponce.cc/slackware/slackware-14.0/packages/pyOpenSSL-0.13-i486-1ponce.txz [104684/104684] -> "/boot/packages/pyOpenSSL-0.13-i486-1ponce.txz" [1] bad MD5, deleting what is the correct md5 for pyOpenSSL? downloaded manually and now pysetuptools cannot be found...looking for -1, which seems to have been replaced with -2 file /boot/packages/pysetuptools-2.1-i486-1_microlinux.txz: downloading from http://www.microlinux.fr/slackware/MLES-14.0-32bit/slackware/l/pysetuptools-2.1-i486-1_microlinux.txz ... http://www.microlinux.fr/slackware/MLES-14.0-32bit/slackware/l/pysetuptools-2.1-i486-1_microlinux.txz: 2014-05-19 09:10:33 ERROR 404: Not Found. same for pyxdg-0.25-i486-1_microlinux.txz file /boot/packages/pyxdg-0.25-i486-1_microlinux.txz: downloading from http://www.microlinux.fr/slackware/MLED-14.0-32bit/slackware/l/pyxdg-0.25-i486-1_microlinux.txz ... http://www.microlinux.fr/slackware/MLED-14.0-32bit/slackware/l/pyxdg-0.25-i486-1_microlinux.txz: 2014-05-19 09:16:44 ERROR 404: Not Found. besides the download changes that need tidying up in the plugin, this is working great...thanks for your work!
  14. Well I got them all working in the end. Only thing missing is the branch variables for another github repo. Well done and thanks again PhAzE
  15. well out of sickbeard, couchpotato and headphones only couchpotato survived the upgrade. It the installs that it doesn't like. CP has been installed relatively recently, so may conform better, but headphones and SB are a couple of years old. Re-downloading them and pointing to my old config files seems to have worked though. Last thing to sort out is pled as thats not happy at all.... Can i request that for the "branch" field there is an option to use your own url and not just master and develop? I prefer using mr-orange's sickbeard rather than the official branch.
  16. Dynamix Webgui Active streams Disk health Email notify System info System stats System temp Plugin control Scheduled parity checks Unplugged Sickbeard Couchpotato Headphones Transmission Lazy librarian Apcupsd Powerdown Plex Plex updater Deluge uTorrent Dropbox SNAP BTSync Proftp And a few others....but basically the plugin forum and contribution by members is truly remarkable and undervalued in my opinion. This is what turns a NAS with countless competition into truly only one option when it's potential is utilised. I have probably tested and used 90% of the plugins this community has created over the years! but this is what's currently on my main server. Hence why it's so important to sort out your framework and standardisation, so that this can continue to flourish. The average user doesn't want VMs, they want to be able to view a list of plugins within the webgui and click to install. All the other big players do it, and once the core is in place, the community can take over. The average power user, which there are much less of, the VMs are a great idea, and am glad to see the company moving forward. Power in simplicity is key...
  17. All the plugins on the first page use python 2.7.3 in their 32bit versions and 2.7.5 in their 64bit versions. Interestingly there isn't a pre 2.7.5 in the 64bit environment: http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware64-14.1/slackware64/d/, hence i guess the differences. It looks like NZBMegaSearch needs itself upgrading before it can be used in 64bit if it cannot use 2.7.5. 2.7.3 can be found here: <URL>http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware-14.0/slackware/d/python-2.7.3-i486-2.txz</URL>'>http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware-14.0/slackware/d/python-2.7.3-i486-2.txz</URL> <MD5>14740c268031f7fe09f2f8d533c6da8f</MD5> Purely out of interest (and for my learning) PhAzE, why are you using https://dl.dumptruck.goldenfrog.com/p/Vq3zpArAKB/python-2.7.3-i686-5PTr.txz and not http://slackware.cs.utah.edu/pub/slackware/slackware-14.0/slackware/d/python-2.7.3-i486-2.txz ? I would have thought using official channels would help keep things standardised and saves us having several different names of python in the packages folder?
  18. All of that is done already in my plugin . With the way I designed my plugins from the start, every variable has quotes around then to prevent null values. Any spaces in directory entries are replaced with underscored because that currently breaks all influence plugins. The temp (transcode) directory must be set in the plugin because that folder boats when Plex is transcoding so it can completely use up your ram if located on the system ram drive which means it can cause Unraid stability problems. My plugin will warm the user of this if it is incorrectly set. Also my plugin will modify the Plex INI correctly so that the transcode directory shoes up in Plex correctly this eliminating the Plex write issues some users are experiencing. A lot of the fixes are present in all of my plugins. You little beauty, will be the push I need to get onto unraid V6! Thanks once again
  19. well after a parity drive failure and replacing it with a WD red 3TB drive i have dropped to under half speed. Is this pretty standard speed for this drive or is there something i can start to troubleshoot? Nothing has changed, except simply physically replacing the parity drive. 20. Here is 4.7: https://code.google.com/p/unraid-greenleaf-repository/downloads/detail?name=unRAID%20Server%204.7%20AiO.zip&can=4&q= Here is how to upgrade to 4.7: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=10483.0 Here is the official guide to upgrade to v5: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Upgrade_Instructions or another good guide: http://lime-technology.com/wiki/index.php/Migrating_from_unRAID_4.7_to_unRAID_5.0 Good Luck!
  21. also, for the 64bit plex plugin have you taken a look at jumperalex's work he did troubleshooting a few issues the hybrid package exhibits? here it is for ref: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=31485.msg303436#msg303436 and then..... the ultimate, super, duper, final plex solution Combining the plex updater plugin with the plex plugin, so that it's all neat on one screen! https://github.com/Benni-chan/unraid_plugins/blob/master/plexupdater.plg then and only then can you have a break.....until limetech get their act together and start taking plugin management seriously! on a personal note, it is incredibly frustrating not being able to help you/the community due to having no technical skills what so ever. I have the time, just not the knowledge and every time i do try to pick up an old plugin and try and force myself to understand i get nowhere.
  22. Currently broken and abandoned is the utorrent plugin, which I would love to see reinstated. That and transmission would cover most people's unRAID needs I reckon. Can never have enought torrent clients running concurrently :-)
  23. I haven't spoken to Limetech at all. Do you know if they have any threads talking about their plan for plugins? I used python 2.6 since all the apps i've worked on work best with that so far. It's pretty easy to change, but then there would ned to be some testing done, and I believe ... couchpotato? breaks on 2.7. Is it just deluge that is using 2.7 right now and does that not work with 2.6? Hi PhAzE, Plugins running on 2.7 were upgraded by influencer i believe. They are in his "upgrade" branch on github: https://github.com/Influencer/UNplugged/tree/Upgrade In terms of the new structure Limetech has discussed making the APCUPSD plugin an official template. He also mentioned documentation forth coming after beta 4: Tom seems to respond best when emailed directly: [email protected] good luck!
  24. Hi PhAzE, Firstly, thank you for picking these up, a lot of people including myself use these and it's very much appreciated. Do they use python 2.7+? This was one of the problems combining legacy and new plugins like the deluge plugin. A forum user adapted some of the more popular ones to use 2.7 instead of 2.6. Edit: just checked and see they still use 2.6, can this be changed? As this is a new project and before it gets too big, is it worth you speaking to Limetech directly to ensure that these plugins conform to the new framework they are trying to set up? Cheers
  25. I have been having an issue where transmission is not picking up files i place in a watch directory. After some googling i cam across a post that says: Now i never made the connection until now, and i believe this started happening when i upgraded unraid to 5.0.5. So can i get it confirmed that the "kernel version is equal to or newer than 2.6.13 AND notify is enabled" ? thanks
