  1. Thank you, this was driving me crazy. I downloaded the files myself and and unpacked them with wget and tar but lots of issues. Did not realize the docker had it located here. This would be helpful if copied in the docker instructions. I looked there multiples times we are page 29 with multiple people asking. Please paste inside the docker setup FTW! 😃 Thanks for the help! Thanks for the docker DJoss!
  2. Just an update to my question. The command is actually coming from the ZFS plugin itself and it ran after a reboot. Once ZFS becomes part of UnRaid that may go away but that is what is issuing the command. The reason I seen it more was because of the restarts I was doing. When first with the test rig I did not have this plug-in installed and was not rebooting at all. I started rebooting more and found this plug at the same time. Thanks for the reply and plug-in work! 😃
  3. @ich777 Hi - thank you much for the information. All good knowing it is the the ZFS plug-in issuing the command. I am new to ZFS & raidz and with 120TB of data I have been learning and watching the zpool history to make sure my migration from Windows RAID5 to UnRaid is working well. When seeing that command I wanted to make sure I did not have plugs doing unwanted things. This is just a learning experience for me and appreciate the explanation. Also, love your docker container work. Ill be sending a donation soon. Awesome job!
  4. Hello, A little new to ZFS and using a 2x raidz2. I learned how to check my zpool history and I seem to have a plugin calling an unwanted command on my pool and I am trying to figure out if its the actual ZFS plugin or something else. The issue is that 2-3 a day (random days, maybe a week apart?) I am seeing a day I am seeing the following: 2022-12-17.11:05:54 zpool import -a 2022-12-17.11:13:01 zpool import -a 2022-12-28.10:24:12 zpool import -a 2022-12-28.10:44:10 zpool import -a 2022-12-28.13:03:49 zpool import -a What also happens its run twice a day but about 5 minutes apart and makes no sense. I have only a few plugins installed ZFS, ZFS Companion and ZFS Master. The author of ZFS Master confirmed it is not his plugin and wanted to check here is the ZFS plugin is calling for the import and maybe why again 5 minutes later? Any help/feedback is very appreciated. This is a great plugin but even though I am new to ZFS that seems like a powerful command to being running on its own and made me nervous to get some answers. Thanks!
  5. @Iker Thanks for the great detailed reply. It will help me figure out what is calling the additional commands. I only have ZFS, ZFS-companion and ZFS-Master and not much else installed besides Plex. I see you find it weird that something has been calling for import more then needed. I have never manually imported anything either is really weird. As for #3 if I am reading correct that is from the ZFS-Master plugin but only when I click the main page? Its a new setup so I have been clicking more often. Summary: No back ground calls are made and only refreshed every 30 second when clicking on the main page and sitting active.
  6. Hi saw the update and applied but it did not auto fix my drive names. I wen to the device and renamed, then deleted any text and hit SAVE. That then saved the right name and repeated for all the incorrect drives and they are not duplicating any more. The update did not automatically do it but maybe prevent it in the future? Thanks for the work and attention. Have a good day.
  7. No worries and thank you. I am busy to and do not have time to manually fix. When I do I will check back for an update or manually fix then. Either way will report back and thanks for the plug-in and quick work.
  8. Hi, Using this plug in and its working well but concerned with what it does to my pools. I am new to zraid and when looking at the history I see some concerning items. This plug-in is running exporting of data twice per hour as a duplicate. Why is running zpool import -a and importing datasets command. I have never asked the plug to import anything. My zpools with the duplicate data exports have a ton of history and commands that I am not sure is necessary. Is there any way to erase this zpool history or has this plug-in runs its course? Not sure why its running twice, all the time. 2022-12-17.10:18:39 zfs program -jn -m 20971520 XXX /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/zfs.master/scripts/zfs_get_pool_data.lua XXX 2022-12-17.10:18:39 zfs program -jn -m 20971520 XXX /usr/local/emhttp/plugins/zfs.master/scripts/zfs_get_pool_data.lua XXX 2022-12-17.11:05:54 zpool import -a 2022-12-17.11:13:01 zpool import -a Why is this importing twice in 10 min? I have never run the import command at all.
  9. Attached with the unassigned devices plug installed. Let me know if you need anything else. Thank you! diagnostics-20221222-1240.zip
  10. Hello, Moved over from a Windows server with RAID5 60 TB to Unraid raidz2 120TB with two pools. Everything has went well. I am now having an issue with the unassigned devices plugin and the device names being mixed up. At first all device names were good in the list. I have 6 drives on my new LSI HBA and 6 drives on my Adaptec 71605 (RAID5). The plugin worked well but I had issues after I retired the RAID5. Unplugged my Adaptec raid card, then moved the clear drives from the RAID5 to the HBA as a new pool. That went well too, but when I did that the device names "i.e. dev6" is wrong or replicated and I took a screenshot. After unistalling the unraid listed them in order but when I reinstall the unassigned devices plug-in the names get mixed up again. The names will not match the actually device names for maybe about 3-4 drives. When reinstalling the plug I can see the passthrough and other setting have stuck around. Maybe there is a way to clear the unassigned devices plugin history settings? Please see attached screen shot. I have tried to rename the device to the right number and save but that doesnt work. I hope this would not cause a an issue with an accidental format on the wrong drive but glad I notcied before I clear the the drives from the RAID. I could not trust the visual format and cleared the drives by command line and all is well. No issues but wanted to report it and see what I can do about clearing the history/settings? DEV 1 and 6 and the main issues. Top DEV1 is really 11 and bottom DEV1 is the real DEV1.
