Mine server is not hidden away. Wifi 6 is incredible and huge leap over wifi 5. I can write at 100MBps from my wifi 6 pc to my unraid server. (The router, server and pc are all in the same room though). When the pc is moved to a different floor, I get 77MBps.

There is a work around by plugging the server into a wifi extender but thats defeats the point and my new mobo will have wifi 6. I don't use VMs. Sent from my SM-G977B using Tapatalk

Good idea. But my proposed mobo will have wifi 6 built in. And in the future wifi 6 will be common place and even faster.

I have a qnap 653a 6 bay and its about 13 litres in size. The lian-li is about 20 litres. I want something that is nearly as small as the qnap.

My wifi 6 router sends data at 100MBps plus. Wireless should definitely be added to Unraid.

Any opinions on this Mr Unraid?

Any chance this feature could be added in the future especially now with 802.11ax getting to near gigabit transfer speeds?

Same with me with many years usage of Unraid. Happened just now. The workaround that sometimes works is to create a new folder in where I want to put the file. And sometimes inside the new folder I create random files like docs, pictures, new folders and then start my transfer. When the writing fails, the parity drive stops writing but the destination hdd keeps reading for ages and the fail happens. And then its keeps reading and I cant delete the partially copied file for a while. Maybe this is a limitation of reiserfs?

I quite like the look of the qnap 451+. The plan is to change from my Silverstone ds380 to this once 16tb hdd are released and therefore I would get 48tb of data. Is there a smaller 4/5 bay nas and one with a built in power supply? Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk

What is the model of the fans in the 380? Nevermind: RL4Z S1202512LIW-3M made by Globe Fan. The design is about 7 years old. https://www.quietpc.com/120mmfans I like the Nanoxia 120mm PWM Deep Silence and they seem to perform better than the noctua nf f12 pwm. Thoughts?

The long sata cables are useful. It means that I don't have to disconnect the sata cables to get the hdd caddy out of the way. I also blocked off the rear honeycomb holes at the back. This may have improved cooling. Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
