I think I would rather soldier on through the issues instead of going back. At least the vm works enough now to do my backups. I resolved the nvidia driver issue so Plex is back working, and I got my local console back. Once get I this Windows VM to use my Radeon card it and VM manager to stay stable should be ok. Thanks

After some more hangs and reboots I have got the vm working but only using vnc console. If I try to add my video card back it hangs. I tried to Enable ACS Override in Boot Parameters as I noticed this under system devices "Warning: IOMMU group contains SR-IOV devices. Enable ACS Override in Boot Parameters for proper isolation." but it does not seem to take affect. I may try to manually add it to the config. Is that a good idea? Did you see anything in the diagnostics? I had never had problems with upgrades before.

Only 1 VM it is W10VM. Attached are diags. I did briefly get it working by recreated the VM (using the existing vdisk) using a virtual video card, then shut it down, stopped the VM manager, backed up the new libvert, and tried to start the VM manager but it crashed. OK that worked but how do I now get my VMs back? Apparently my Appdata Backup hasn't been backing up libvirt as expected. Thanks Joe

I just restarted in safe mode. In about 14 years I have never used safe mode. I started the array and dashboard worked until I want to either VM or setting / VM manager and the console froze again.

I updated to 7.3.1 and my browser console screen dies every time I move to either VM or Dashboard. My VM no longer works. I keep having to run /etc/rc.d/rc.php-fpm restart to get my console back. I am attaching my diagnostics. Can someone please help. Thanks. tower2-diagnostics-20260601-1448.zip

I had to do this for my P400 a while back and set it to v580.159.03 to get Plex and the driver working again. Yesterday I tried upgrading unRaid from 7.2.3 to 7.2.5 and my server really did not behave well. After login I could only get to the main page. If I tried any other like the dashboard, setup, docker, tools, the UI just hung. I finally downgraded back to 7.2.3 and everything worked but Plex. I finally had to disable the Nvidia card from Plex to get the docker back to working. I had to wait until today to try and get the Nvidia P400 to work with Plex again as shutting down after downgrading the OS kicked of a Parity check. Oh what fun. I wish Plex would just support AMD APUs and I could get rid of the P400.

Thanks - This one worked Production Branch: v580.126.09. I tried the open source ones but that did not work. How do I disable updates? Did not see that in the settings, only Driver Update Notification.

Did we loose driver support for the P400 with 7.2.3. Plex will not run anymore with Extra Parameters: --runtime=nvidia, but will start if I remove it. Please help as I use it for transcoding in Plex and tdarr. Thanks Joe

Is there or will there be a fix for the log spam when using root folder "Uploading Attachment...option and possibly be able to use root share and disk shares at the same time? Thanks

After a bunch of searching I am trying to move on from the rootshare under SMB from Spaceinvader as I found many errors relating to it in my logs. I am trying to use the Unassigned Device settings to make a rootshare after removing the code in my SMB settings but when I try to rename Shares-Pools to rootshare it does not work and gives me this error in my syslog but as far as I can tell I don't have that name used as I removed the script from the SMB setttings. I need to use the name rootshare as my VM that does the backups uses that drive mapping to do online backups using iDrive. I would hate to have to go through all the subdirectories and custom files to backup. Same issue but changing the boot settings to USB:<your memorystick> from UEFI:<yourmemorystick> did not work for me on my ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. ROG STRIX B450-F GAMING. I think my Nvidia P200 may be interfering? Must be same issue, different cause. Driving my nuts.

/etc/rc.d/rc.php-fpm restart just brought back my gui. However I think there is an issue with pre-clear and the dashboard. As soon as I try the dashboard tab the GUI crashes again.

Thank You!!!! I stopped the array, ran "zpool export cache, started the array, and the cache zpool is back up. I was a little freaked that my dockers and VMs were missing, but I disabled and re-enabled them, pointing them to the cache drive and they came back up. So much thanks. Attached are the diags after it came back in case anyone wants to see. Very weird that I had 2 issues at the same time. A drive in main array went missing and I had to move it to come back up, and I lost my cache pool. I almost never have issues (well unless I change something on it;-). tower2-diagnostics-20250829-1903.zip

Since the individual shares are mounted I am attempting to copy all the data to the array. Once that is done (if it succeeds) I will do the export again and post the new diags. Weird that the data is all there but the cache pool doesn't mount. Thanks Joe

I noticed that one of my 3 ZFS cache pool drives had no temp or read and writes. I checked it and it said it was running on 2 of the 3 drives OK. Before I got to bring down my server it froze up. When it came back up it said on of my XFS array drives died. I hooked the dead drive to my PC and used "lynux file system reader" on my windows PC and was able to read the drive fine. I put the drive in a different spot in my server and the array started and kicked off a parity check. I reseated my cache drive cables and now all three drives are up and reporting but can not mount the cache pool that has all my dockers and VMs. Attached is my diagnostic report. Thanks for any help. So finally I just shut down that browser tab and opened up unRaid in a new tab. Started the upgrade over and worked no problem. I think it was an error with github.
