Having the same issue with Mate I am able to connect to Mate via RDP with no issue. But the CP GUI will not connect to the engine. Like others, I know it is running because I can see it and start a backup from other CP installs on PC's that are being backed up. The Mate gui will connect the first time the CP Engine docker is installed, But if the docker is restarted, It never connects again. Any ideas? ::UPDATE:: able to connect when setting window client to connect by changing ui.properties and making the tunnle via putty. CP engine docker si set to bridge mode BTW both MATE and Engine are 4.2.0

Usually dont have an issue with updating But it is not working for Version 0.9.12.3.1173

This is great. Got it up and running with no issues. will make life a ton easier in the future when I need to replace a drive. Easier since I am literately building the box now. Will take some time to setup on my rig at home as I don't know the location of any of the drives. I sued the notes section to type in what sata port on the mobo or raid card each drive is plugged into. Thank you a ton!

Maybe, Ill keep the drive around until it dies if that is what this is leading up to. this is a test server to experiment on before going full production with it for its main purpose. I also made a thread in the v6 support forum as I accidentally posted here :-P

Had some odd behavior from my cache drive. Decided to run a scrub. I have a replacement ready to go, But Wanted to try the feature. Nothing to lose. It ran and I dont know how to read the results. I see error's but no signs that it corrected them. I have 3 drives preclearing right now. Used screen on all 3 sessions. installed the plugin. Actually picked up all 3 preclears and is reporting status. Awesome! I do wish I could enable the email notification after the fact. but not a big deal. Awesome job man!

I cant seem to select an iso. Drop down for the image selection works. Also tried on win 10, win 8, win 8.1, chrome, IE and Project Spartan. Same results.

I'm not really reliant on Xen over KVM. I have no clue how to make a docker image. But that's irrelevant as my main reason for a VM is MediaCenterMaster and that's windows only. I do not pass any devices through. So KVM will be just fine for me. Using acronis to clone the machine and use universal restore to get It running in KVM. Plus VT-D and Xen has caused an issue in my latest build with my i5-4690K, so I lost support anyway even If I wanted to pass through a device.

I'll be working on the conversion tonight. going to use acronis to do it, dont want to set up all my apps again!

A bit more info as I look into this because I hate not knowing why things dont work. The i3-4130 did not have VT-D support. So it was never an issue. The i3 has VT-x. the i5 has VT-D along with VT-x. so that explains why the change all of a sudden. Now to really figure out why xen hates VT-D

I have the same issue sometimes. I think my plex causes it, when unraid tries to kill the stream, plex starts it right back up and keeps the array going. I personally stop plex, then stop the array and dont have many issues.

When you say they. Do you mean Lime tech or Gigabyte? I upgraded to the 10b bios also. Forgto to mention that. same issue. I noticed it added better support for xxxxk CPU's so thought it might help since i have a 4690k. no luck.

All drives are good to go. Shit down server. Enabled VT-D. Same errors, came Sara ports even with different drives. Tried RAID, IDE and ACHI. Dame effect. Disabled intels storage controller crap also. Same issue. Disabled VT-D. Everything is working well again.

Good idea, I'll turn it back on in the morning and see what happens. To many people use my plex at night. Dont want to cut them all off. All the Vm does is run win 8.1, MediaCenterMaster and utorrent. So I dont pass anything into it. Plus side, Vm runs a ton better with the SSD and new CPU. Just waiting for my new ram to show up! Ill post results tomorrow

So an update. Messed with it today after the data rebuild. Threw the i5 in. Disabled Intel VT-D. Was expecting my zen VM to not start. This test was recommended by the thread I mentioned above. All the drives showed up AND my VM started with no issue. So I'm leaving it as is. Running great. Hope this helps someone in the future.

Holding off on this CPU swap. I have 3 1TB drives I'm replacing with 4TB drives. I rather not mess around during parity and data rebuilds. Keeping the stable system until the upgrade is compete. Then I will mess around with it.

I would not do that. Let's see if we have any serious disk issues. A parity check with a failing drive can cause the drive to completely fail and make recovery more difficult / impossible. Good call, my bad
