[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
Is it possible to stop the plex media server service within this container while it is running? My db is corrupt and I'd like to repair it using the built in SQLite binary, but need the service to be stopped first.

Odd Ngnix error filling up my syslog
Looks like nobody's reported this issue for a while, but I've been experiencing random kernel panics that I think may be related to this issue still. I did get the spamming to stop in my syslog by killing all open unraid gui tabs. I am using the NGINX proxy manager docker container. I'm not sure if/how that's related to any of this. Anyone seen a resolution for this anywhere or are we all still trying to figure it out?

[Support] Djoss - Nginx Proxy Manager
Hello, I've been running this container for a while now. Over a year at least. I've had no issues until today when I setup a new proxy host and attempted to request a new certificate from LetsEncrypt. I receive this error when attempting to request the certificate. "Internal Error" I found this in the container logs [6/5/2020] [12:39:21 PM] [Express ] › ⚠ warning Command failed: /usr/bin/certbot certonly --non-interactive --config "/etc/letsencrypt.ini" --cert-name "npm-14" --agree-tos --email "[email protected]" --preferred-challenges "dns, http" --webroot --domains "myhost.mydomain.com" Another instance of Certbot is already running. How can I troubleshoot this issue? Any other clues I should look for or anyone else who's seen this?

Has anyone gotten email notifications to work with the nzbgetvpn container? I am trying to use the gmail smtp server and get the following error. Executing script EMail.py Executing script EMail.py with command ConnectionTest EMail: Script successfully started EMail: Creating Email EMail: Sending E-Mail EMail: [Errno 99] Cannot assign requested address Script EMail.py with command ConnectionTest failed Ideas?

Is it possible to install python modules in this container? I want to run this script, but there are module dependencies that I need to meet for it to work. pip does not appeared to be installed, and I'm not sure if there's any other way to go about installation as I'm not very adept with python. Furthermore, I would be concerned about any changes I make surviving an upgrade or even restart of the container.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Plex Media Server
I am in fact using a single disk for my Plex config. So I must not have the same issues that others may have run into. I'm mostly curious if anyone who experience Plex DB corruption with UNraid 6.7 has seen the issue resolved since earlier this month.

I wonder if we have a similar situation then. I do have a cache drive, but I don't use it for my Plex config because the PhotoTranscoder volume can take up a ton of space with the way I use Plex and my cache pool isn't every large. Still I wonder why using an array disk instead of a cache disk would have the effect of corrupting the Plex DB, if its related at all.

A couple of weeks ago I updated to UNraid 6.7 and shortly thereafter my plex DB kept corrupting itself and I had to restore from a backup multiple times. I rolled back to UNraid 6.6.7 and everything has been fine since. I noticed my plex docker updated a few days ago and I'm wondering if I should try updating UNraid to 6.7 again. Did anyone else have a similar experience and are you now running UNraid 6.7 after the most recent Plex docker upgrade?

[Support] binhex - SABnzbdVPN
Agreed that it is not a good idea, it was more of a troubleshooting step. I have tried multiple VPN servers, all with the same results. Outbound SMTP does not appear to be working at all and this includes to multiple email providers. lan_network is uses to allow INBOUND access to the sabnzbd web ui, but it also seems to affect outbound traffic as well. Basically it appears to be a split tunnel setting. Previously however, I did not need any special settings for outbound SMTP to work over VPN. I am beginning to suspect however that it is something to do with my new Internet provider as well since I just changed services this week.

[Support] binhex - SABnzbdVPN
Something weird has happened with my installation of this container in the past couple of days and I am unable to send email notifications with VPN enabled. I have tried my both gmail and office365 and neither are able to connect to respective SMTP server. I found a listing of all gmail SMTP ip ranges and added them to the LAN_NETWORK variable in the container settings. This seems to have done the trick, but seems like a less than ideal situation. Has anyone else seen this behavior in recent days? For what it's worth, I have NEVER been able to get my local SMTP server working while VPN is enabled. Even though I have put my local networks in the LAN_NETWORK variable. Very strange.

[Support] binhex - SABnzbdVPN
I just set this container up over the weekend. I was able to connect it to ProtonVPN without issue and have tested download by manually dropping a .nzb file into my watched folder and it was able to max out my speed. My question is, how can I configure things properly so that I can push from an indexer to the sabnzbd API? I have set this up successfully in the past with port forwarding on my router. I tried it for this sab installation on the off chance that it would work, but have been unable to push using my home IP address. Has anyone successfully enabled push for sabnzbd using this container? EDIT: I've also discovered that I cannot send alerts to my SMTP server, which is on the same layer 2 network as my UNraid server. So it would seem I am missing something when it comes to the networking within this container. Are there some parameters I should be using for specific traffic that I do not want tunneled?

Thank you! I actually want port 80 available internally so the thread you linked is very helpful.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nginx
Nope, I would like it accessible from multiple hosts. I'm actually already running nginx on another VM, but would like to eliminate it if possible. So the question is, is it possible to change the port that the UNRAID webGUI is running on? I could easily reverse proxy it after the fact.

I actually only open port 443 on my router. I just want port 80 accessible internally.

[Support] Linuxserver.io - Nginx
How would I use this container on port 80 if Unraid's WebGUI is already bound to port 80? Can I change the emhttp port somewhere in the unraid config?

Questions about multiple license keys and OS/configuration redundancy
Welcome knalbone! Sounds like you'll bring some administrative discipline to this knarly bunch! I did want to say, that loosing your flashdrive is not catastrophic. If you had no backup, and one day snapped the stick in half as you walked by, you could reconstruct it and have unRaid running (assuming you had another USB with valid key) in about 30 minutes. (Addons might be more complex, but hey it's your data you are most worried about). So go ahead and set it up for backup, it's a good idea. But although you might want to rush into a burning building to rescue your array, don't run in a second time to retrieve the USB stick! Thank you, yes I am a network administrator by occupation. Storage and backup management are among the many hats that I wear. I am used to enterprise hardware and software of course, but I will be applying many of the same principles that I use at work to my home environment. I'm sure I'll be bending many an ear over the next few weeks as I complete my setup. No need to worry about me running into any burning buildings. My backup USB drive should be safe inside a fireproof box.

Questions about multiple license keys and OS/configuration redundancy
Thanks for all the replies everyone. I'll go ahead and purchase two keys and establish a backup routine based on the feedback in this thread.

Questions about multiple license keys and OS/configuration redundancy
You make a good point NAS. I was mainly thinking of the using the second key as a hot spare but since this is not possible it would most likely be pulled out of a safe at backup time, written to and put back in the safe.

Questions about multiple license keys and OS/configuration redundancy
So it sounds like my best bet is to buy two licenses but perform a manual backup job whenever I want since I would need to stop the array to get a good super.dat. Correct? Will a backup super.dat still be usable if the data on the array changes as long as the disk configuration stays the same? Will I need to boot off my second USB disk at least once to install the key or can I just copy a .key file to it after I make my purchase? Sorry if I'm being tedious. I like to have a good DR plan in place.

Questions about multiple license keys and OS/configuration redundancy
Is it possible to mirror my main flash drive to a second flash drive or do I just need to setup a cron job or some other means of copying the data myself? Is there a recommended procedure for setting up a dedicated hot spare somewhere that I have not yet found?

Questions about multiple license keys and OS/configuration redundancy
Hello all, I've done quite a bit of reading on the Wiki and forums over the past week or so and I'm pretty sold on using UNraid as my home server OS. My apologies if my questions have been answered elsewhere. Basically I'm wondering if I purchase two keys and plug two USB drives into my server can I mirror the OS and config in case of failure of one of the drives? I know that it is possible to email Tom and get a new key if my drive ever fails, but I would prefer to basically have a hot standby that I can boot from in the case of emergency. This is just the admin in me coming out. I like to prepare for the worst. Am I correct in assuming that my configuration, plugins, etc. will be stored on the USB drive itself or am I barking up the wrong tree?
