  1. So I am trying to prepare myself here... I had the DNS issue with numerous containers? I Edited/Saved each which resolved the issue. If I reboot my server will my containers have the DNS issue again or is that a perm fix? John
  2. Tom always asks if the host and the docker resolv.conf's match. Has anyone confirmed? Honestly, I'm not sure how to see the resolv.conf file for a docker...can someone enlighten me? John
  3. Just curious... With the RDP Calibre container, is there a way to have it automatically connect to the RDP session rather than having to click "OK"? John
  4. Same thing, if I do a save on the container (even with no changes) it rebuilds the container and fixes the issue. I think Tom had mentioned this in another post. Confirmed. I Edited my Emby container, clicked Save and DNS appears to be working. John

  6. Going to remove my post RE: Sonarr and the command Eric asked us to run as it has nothing to do with the DNS issue.
  7. root@unRAID:~# docker exec EmbyServer python -c "import socket; print socket.getaddrinfo('github.com', 80, 0, 0, socket.IPPROTO_TCP)" [(2, 1, 6, '', ('192.30.252.128', 80))] root@unRAID:~# root@unRAID:~# docker exec CouchPotato python -c "import socket; print socket.getaddrinfo('github.com', 80, 0, 0, socket.IPPROTO_TCP)" [(2, 1, 6, '', ('192.30.252.129', 80))] root@unRAID:~#
  8. I have always had a mix of VMs and containers and did not experience this issue (not even once) prior to RC6. John
  9. I am having the same exact experience. My Deluge and NZBGet containers both connect through my PIA VPN and appear unaffected. John
  10. OK...I take back my "all good here". Looks like I may have been bitten by the DNS bug when I never was before. I just started to open the webuis for my numerous dockers and saw this in my Emby one: Never had that before. root@unRAID:~# docker exec EmbyServer ping -c 3 google.com PING google.com (204.186.215.52) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from cache.google.com (204.186.215.52): icmp_seq=1 ttl=61 time=10.2 ms 64 bytes from cache.google.com (204.186.215.52): icmp_seq=2 ttl=61 time=10.6 ms 64 bytes from cache.google.com (204.186.215.52): icmp_seq=3 ttl=61 time=10.7 ms --- google.com ping statistics --- 3 packets transmitted, 3 received, 0% packet loss, time 2002ms rtt min/avg/max/mdev = 10.204/10.549/10.786/0.276 ms root@unRAID:~# docker exec EmbyServer ping 192.168.1.1 PING 192.168.1.1 (192.168.1.1) 56(84) bytes of data. 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=1 ttl=64 time=0.302 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=2 ttl=64 time=0.157 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=3 ttl=64 time=0.199 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=4 ttl=64 time=0.183 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=5 ttl=64 time=0.238 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=6 ttl=64 time=0.259 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=7 ttl=64 time=0.198 ms 64 bytes from 192.168.1.1: icmp_seq=8 ttl=64 time=0.115 ms ^Croot@unRAID:~# BTW..I am using static IP and DNS for unRAID: EDIT: CouchPotato docker having DNS issues also. 11. RC5 --> RC6 All good here. Looks like some work was done around the System Info popup. My installed memory is correct, however, max installable is still off... My MB is capable of 192GB (ECC): http://www.supermicro.com/products/motherboard/QPI/5500/X8DTH-iF.cfm. As I said before, this probably should be treated with the lowest priority. Just wanted to make LT aware. John
  12. Just curious... Why is the Dynamix Webui listed as a plugin when it is part of the core now? I would expect the other Dynamix addons to be treated as plugins but not the core package. If there are minor changes to the UI, can they not be released as a minor core updates instead? BTW...this is my OCD speaking. John
  13. You were correct. I just didn't wait long enough. Thanks for the support! John
  14. Are you going to Gaucamole route with MythBuntu?
  15. I'm doing this now with Flircs and long USB runs.
  16. Not sure if this was requested previously or not. Can we have the ability to... 1. Control the order in which containers and VMs start as one or more may have dependencies on others 2. Add a delay value to when a container or VM starts Make sense? Maybe it could be bundled with the request here which is kinda related: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=40537.0 John
  17. I tried here with the OE build, but it doesn't crash here. Could you try to change the appdata folder to start from a clean config and if that doesn't work, delete the container and image and start all over fresh? Is there anymore info in the log above what you posted? I have had similar issues with some containers and it has always come back to perms on the appdata folder. Running the newperms script against it has usually solved. John
  18. I have successfully passed thru 3 HD6450's at the same time to 3 different VMs. Actually, the 6450 is pretty much the de facto card for passing thru to a Kodi VM (from a price-to-performance perspective)
  19. You haven't seen my wife's bottom.... BTW...I'm super pumped about this! I really hope sparkly can get it going. I hope you're not talking about Mrs CHBMB! To be honest since we got married getting it going is a bit like jump starting an old motor.. I'm not making a docker for that. Don't worry mate, she's not keen on getting docked these days, special occasions, birthdays, if I've been good then maybe.... Why do I keep seeing images of Apollo 13 docking with the LEM?
  20. Jon, You touched on OE/Kodi unVM at the end of the interview. Now that the 6.0 Final release date has been made public (15JUN2015), are you able to provide a soft date for the OE unVM release? John
