  1. Here's my parts list: 1. NORCO RPC-4220 4U Rackmount Server Chassis 2. ASRock EP2C602-4L/D16 SSI EEB Server 3. Intel Xeon e5-2670 (2 cpu's from ebay @ $65 each) 4. Kingston 16GB 240-Pin DDR3 SDRAM ECC Registered DDR3 1600. (x2) starting with 16GB per CPU 5. Corsair Power Supply RM1000 6. Supermicro AOC - SAS2LP-MV8 Rev 1.00 (motherboard itself has plenty of Sata ports though) (x2) 7. 3ware CBL-SFF8087-05M 1 unit of 0.5m Multi-lane Internal (SFF-8087) Serial ATA cable (x4) 8. Noctua NH-U9DXi4 90mm SSO2 CPU Cooler (x2). Runs very cool and is low profile enough not to come close to Norco cover. I haven't checked power usage but I do believe it idles around 200W. Honestly I'm not personally concerned with power usage now since recently installing a 6.85KWh Solar System. I'm feeding the grid an average of about 10.5KW daily on a nearly all electric house. There's 6 case fans and 4 Noctua cooler fans, and of course the power supply fan. The unit is humming along, and I mean humming. Not as quiet as my NZXT H2 tower.
  2. made the request a while back but I suppose the request could be directed to the linuxserver.io devs http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=39206.msg365131#msg365131
  3. I have the ASRock EP2C602-4L/D16 and fired it up yesterday after receiving two e5-2670's that were snatched from ebay. Easy to setup and all seems good so far on Memtests.
  4. Just updated. Looking good from what I can tell. Thanks a bunch Binhex.
  5. I can't find a Binhex PayPal Donate button........ it's payday so i can spare some change...
  6. Yes that's potentially a limited solution. I've deployed several remote wifi routers with DD-WRT / OpenVPN to be able to access remote media servers, but I think the simplicity of deploying the solution binhex is suggesting would be more practical and less limiting since one wouldn't need to have additional hardware, cabling etc, and to be able to pick and choose which applications need to use a VPN. From my recollection Plex does not work with any VPN and the network connection will be lost on the LAN and WAN so things like (local and remote) Roku's and Plex Home Theater won't connect to the server (unless you use something like openelec-kodi to access the smb share on the LAN).
  7. +1 This type of solution is very much needed. Having the ability to choose which application uses the VPN provides a great amount of control and flexibility. As an example VPNing docker applications like Sickbeard, Sickrage, Sonarr, Couchpotato, Sabnzbd, to name a few, but not VPNing Plex Server since it has an issue with losing it's connection once a VPN connection is established. Hope to see this type of solution come to fruition in the future.
  8. Yes I'm on the latest unRAID release 6.1.7. Apparently the supervisord.log contains the same message.
  9. Thanks again for the previous update. Finally have some time to look at this docker more closely and was able to get it working. Simple mistake on my part as I set the Env Var incorrectly: LAN_NETWORK 192.168.2.1/24 instead of 192.168.2.0/24.

  18. Nice. I was hoping it would work for you.
  19. I can't help you with the cron job issue. On a previous post about SSL certs I was directed to install it in the ownCloud folder itself and haven't had any issues. As an example I placed it here in my ownCloud installed path: /mnt/user/docker/owncloud . I winscp'd into that directory and copied it there. Hope this helps.
  20. FWIW - I updated to 8.1.3 manually. Things like Calendar, Contacts etc may need to be re-enabled. In my situation the few contacts I already setup were made available after the update and re-enabling the Contacts App. I don't guarantee this will be your result. You can wait for gfjardim to work his magic which may make it easier and safer for you, or you can choose to do the following... I leave it up to you if you decide to take a chance. I've played around with ownCloud quite a bit to know that it's a little finicky but I think in my own case I have made it work for me... YMMV. Don't follow these instructions if you are worried about your saved data and have no idea how to recover... There are several ways to update ownCloud, but this is the process I have research and found several of the ownCloud developers and the ownCloud docs suggesting. Google it. 1. Login to your ownCloud to run administrative tasks. 2. on the upper right hand portion of the page choose the drop menu and select Admin. 3. From the left menu choose Updates, and run the Update. 4. after running the update ownCloud may take your web session to the Update web page. Don't Click UPDATE we will do it manually. The manual process avoid PHP errors that are common. Don't close out your browser session even though it is on the Update page. 5. Open up SSH session to unraid and login. 6. On the command line enter and run: docker exec -ti ownCloud /bin/bash 7. Once the ownCloud session is active enter and run: sudo -u nobody php /var/www/owncloud/occ maintenance:mode --on 8. Maintenance mode enabled is now displayed 9. Next enter and run: sudo -u nobody php /var/www/owncloud/occ upgrade 10. Wait for the entire process to complete. It may take a while. 11. Once completed the system will let you know if the upgrade was successful and return Maintenance mode disabled 12. If Maintenance mode is still active and the upgrade was successful, enter: sudo -u nobody php /var/www/owncloud/occ maintenance:mode --off 13. Once you disable Maintenance mode your web browser should return you to your ownCloud account, and you should see that the Update was successful. Note: Again, don't do this if you're not confident or adventurous. P.S. if your browser ever gets stuck on the Update or Maintenance page, like a very long time which is more than 60 minutes to be safe, I suggest you disable maintenance mode as suggested in #12 and your browser should take you back to your previous session or the login prompt will reappear. Good luck.
  21. Yeah that's understandable. My Windows 7 VM + 5450 is mainly used for security surveillance with two displays.
  22. I have an XFX AMD 5450 passed through to a Windows 8.1 VM that is booting in OVFM. My system hardware is in my signature. +1 on the XFX AMD 5450. Windows 7 Ultimate VM booting in SeaBIOS.
  23. Thank you, yes I know but for some reason it did not work for me so I posted what worked in my situation. Thanks for your contribution.
