  1. Thankyou @gridrunner I have it up and running and been able to change screen resolution. Is there any way to be able to enter symbols like "@" ? There's no way to use the "Alt Gr" key. I'm using the vnc keymap set to "es" (Spain) Inside OS VM I have set keyboard also to "Spanish ISO" and also tested "Spanish" without luck. Using Splashtop also the same problem. Any other thing to try? Thankyou Gus
  2. SOLVED !!! When you format the 4 TB disk, windows creates 2 partitions. 1 partition is 134MB and the other is 4 TB. UD showed only the first partition, I saw a little "+" on the disk icon and opened the 2 partitions. The second partition (4TB) was not shared. Thankyou Gus
  3. Do you rsync to a NTFS volume mounted with unassigned devices? Thankyou Gus I frequently do this. If you want to use tools from within the VM, then you can tell UD to make the disk visible as a network share that the VM will then be able to access. Oh yes @itimpi that's what I want but I thought that simply checking "auto mount" and "share" was enough but I see that this isn't the correct way. That is all I do in UD, but it does not magically appear in the VM. You then have to go that network share from within the VM to access it just like you would from a real PC. Since this is done via the virtual NIC performance should be excellent. Then something is not working as expected because I got the other 2 USB external 500GB drives I have, but I don't see the sata 4TB drive attached to UD under my VM. If you see the attached image the 4TB disk is not showing it's capacity. ? Thankyou Gus
  4. Do you rsync to a NTFS volume mounted with unassigned devices? Thankyou Gus Yes, with Unassigned Devices. I make monthly backups to external NTFS drives for offsite storage. It's all scripted using the scripting feature. All I have to do is plugin the drive, then when the script emails that it's finished, I unmount and unplug the drive and take it with me. @trurl Can you tell me exactly how do you do that? over ssh? under win/mac/linux Thankyou Gus

  7. Access to 4TB NTFS drive ? I would like to know if is possible to access a 4TB NTFS formated drive I have attached using unassigned devices under my windows 10 VM? I have been able to access it and copy files using midnight commander, but I' would like to compare two folders with rsync without luck, I get a "sending incremental file list" but nothing more. Stopped after 1,5h. Perhaps I can't rsync to NTFS? Any help will be greatly appreciated. Gus
  8. Ussually mover is run by schedule but some times we run mover manually. When we run it manually it would be nice to know how long will take mover to copy all the files. I feel safe not working with files while mover is running. (sure is paranoia but I feel safe) Would it be possible to add some kind of % bar showing information about the mover process? At least I will know how long will it take. Thankyou Gus
  9. *** FOUND AN INTERESTING THREAD ABOUT THIS: http://lime-technology.com/forum/index.php?topic=51939.0 Gus
  10. I had the same issue some weeks backs and what I do was repair permissions. That solved it. Hope it helps Gus
  11. Me too. Today is working after a whole week where I was unable to vnc crashplan docker. Sure I haven't changed anything !!! Gus
  12. I thought it was working since crashplan send me an email as it wasn't backing up for x days. I could connect to crashplan docker vnc an see all the options. I restarted crashplan docker and since then black screen on vnc. Beware if you think it's working. If you stop-start docker you will know if it is really working. BEWARE OF THIS I COULD BE WRONG BUT IT'S MY CASE. Gus
  13. Still working... Did not change anything.. Have you logged recently into crashplan vnc? Are you backing up to crashplan servers? Did you make any modification to the standard docker installation? Thankyou Gus
  14. But guys... is still crashplan working for you??? Thankyou Gus
  15. Another one wich crashplan has stoped working... not backing up to crashplan servers for 7 days. Any new info about it? Thankyou Gus
  16. Solved. I didn't remember there was a UD settings page. Thankyou Gus
  17. Can someone help me with this log: Since yesterday, after a power failure I can't access the drive. Any idea why I can't access the share and how to solve it? Thankyou Gus
  18. Also here!!! the update fixed the black screen !!! thankyou @gfjardim Thankyou Gus About the user who wrote that: Perhaps a little more patience would not be bad. Are you paying for this container? He hasn't any obligation at all.
  19. Also not working for me, black screen. No email. Any solution yet? Thankyou Gus
  20. How is this possible if he formats the USB drive? Following with these and reading @trurl what is the way to make a backup of the flash disk? keep a copy of: config/super.dat (and you won't have to assign your drives)( if you've changed your array or parity since you backed up that super.dat restoring it could result in data loss) config/*.cfg (files you want to keep the settings from) config/shares/*.cfg (files you want to keep user share settings from) Anything else? Thankyou Gus
  21. Can someone answer this two questions? If I'm not gonna use local backups, can I simply delete the Backup share CrashPlan has created in my system? I don't like to have shares I don't use. Where aro those manuals? Are you referring to the CP site or are there any other? https://support.code42.com/CrashPlan/4 Thankyou Gus
  22. @itimpi Finally solved under vmware !!! Up and running. Thankyou for your support/effort to help me !!! Gus
  23. I have been able to boot and connect to unraid from virtualbox using this tutorial: http://www.howtogeek.com/187721/how-to-boot-from-a-usb-drive-in-virtualbox/ but it doesn't pass a FLASH GUID and it's useless. I have VMWare to give it a try. Can you explain the basic to get it working please? Thankyou Gus
  24. I have entered my BIOS and select the USB as first booting device. Reboot and test that unraid works perfect. I have connected from my phone to unraid config page. Rebooted and F12 to select booting device, select HD and booted. The same problem under Virtualbox, UNRAID not found. I will try if I can virtualize UNRAID under another program. Thanyou Gus
  25. Yes it shows under windows explorer. Will try it now. No, it hasn't my license. I'm trying with the default free installation. Thankyou Gus
