  1. Hello, I access Unraid via network mappings on Windows and every time something is downloaded by Transmission I need to use Winscp in order to move the files around, otherwise I have no access rights on the files. This does not happen with other dockers such as Sabnzbd for exemple. What did I mess with Transmission's settings?
  2. Hello, Any idea why VLC on Android (tvbox) fails to access a network path using SMB or NFS while providing the right authentication? The same path is accessed without any problem from Windows 10 or from network browsing apps on my IOS phone. Also Solid Explorer on that same Android box accesses the network path. Only VLC seems to have a problem.
  3. Hello, As of today Sickchill webui is down, although the Docker seems to be up and running. I attached the log, if someone can make sense of it. supervisord.log
  4. This place is deserted. Can I get some help Please?
  5. Hello, New install. Unable to connect to Newshosting or Astraweb using secured ports. Works with unsecured 119. I vaguely remember i already encountered this issue in the past and that has to do with cipher. But I am not sure. Please help
  6. Hello, Today suddenly my Sabnzbd seems to be corrupted. It does not scan the watched folder. And if I add something manually this is what I get: Traceback (most recent call last): File "/usr/lib/python3.9/site-packages/cherrypy/_cprequest.py", line 638, in respond self._do_respond(path_info) File "/usr/lib/python3.9/site-packages/cherrypy/_cprequest.py", line 697, in _do_respond response.body = self.handler() File "/usr/lib/python3.9/site-packages/cherrypy/lib/encoding.py", line 219, in __call__ self.body = self.oldhandler(*args, **kwargs) File "/usr/lib/python3.9/site-packages/cherrypy/_cpdispatch.py", line 54, in __call__ return self.callable(*self.args, **self.kwargs) File "/usr/lib/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/interface.py", line 174, in internal_wrap return wrap_func(*args, **kwargs) File "/usr/lib/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/interface.py", line 483, in api return api_handler(kwargs) File "/usr/lib/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/api.py", line 99, in api_handler response = _api_table.get(mode, (_api_undefined, 2))[0](name, output, kwargs) File "/usr/lib/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/api.py", line 320, in _api_addfile res, nzo_ids = sabnzbd.add_nzbfile( File "/usr/lib/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/__init__.py", line 695, in add_nzbfile return nzbparser.process_nzb_archive_file( File "/usr/lib/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/nzbparser.py", line 204, in process_nzb_archive_file data = correct_unknown_encoding(zf.read(name)) File "/usr/lib/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/utils/rarfile.py", line 811, in read with self.open(fname, "r", psw) as f: File "/usr/lib/sabnzbd/sabnzbd/utils/rarfile.py", line 792, in open raise PasswordRequired("File %s requires password" % inf.filename) sabnzbd.utils.rarfile.PasswordRequired: File "MyFileName" requires password What is wrong? Added: In the meantime I uninstalled, reinstalled, tried other versions, it seems there is a problem with python on my Unraid. How do I cleanup and reinstall?
  7. Hello, I have this inconsistant problem with Transmission. Sometimes I can move files around after being downloaded, and sometimes I don't. What should I do?
  8. 🙃 I should have read better before posting. Thanks anyway
  9. Hello, I just got myself a new APC UPS. Way over my needs, my Unraid barely uses below 10% of its capacity. And still today I had the power cut off, maybe for 4 minutes, and as it seems Unraid power off was initiated. I expected the UPS to hold it on for at least 20 minutes before initiating shut down. At least it was not an unexpected shutdown forcing it into a very long parity check. I just wish I could do something to prevent that in the future. I attached a screenshot of my UPS settings.
  10. It took me some time to assemble everything but eventually I did it. Thanks to your advice I have now 15 HDDs + NVMe loaded into a Fractal Design Define 7 XL and I have plenty of room to grow. You were of great help.
  11. Jorge this is unclear to me. In 4 days I had 3 parity checks that ran. 2 unrequested and one actionned manually. All of them finished with around 20500 errors. Those errors are not detailed. Isn't there more information in the syslog about that? Is there a debug mode? I would like to be reassured that I have parity on my server.
  12. So right after your answer I started a Parity check manually with correction. And a day later I get this exact same result with 20500 errors. I am concerned because I have 2 X 4Tb parity disks and I don't know what will happen if I lose a disk, will I be protected? Even when I run the Extended Fix Common Problems plugin it ends with a Found Errors notification, but no errors appear on screen to be corrected. novanas2-syslog-20210321-0731.zip
  13. 7 years with Unraid and I never knew that. Thanks Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk Pro
  14. The checkbox "Write corrections to Parity" is always checked on the Main page. But these last 2 parity check that ran ran because of "ungraceful shutdowns" so I did not started them myself (and that is weird because in fact I only chose to reboot). So you think that these self started parity check ran without the "Write corrections to Parity" activated?
  15. Hello, That's the second time I run parity check and get around 20000+ errors while none of the disks show any errors. What errors are they? Where do I find and correct them? novanas2-syslog-20210320-1017.zip
  16. No everything was in place and working when I decided to install the NUT app. NUT is not that important for me to retry I guess. Thank you very much for your help
  17. Considering your pedigree you probably know what you are talking about. What do you think happened? It happened exactly as I wrote it. Everything was fine. I ran the install of NUT, got that message in the script about Unraid being too new, and then I didn't even have time to press the Done button for the install docker crashed and the rest is told in my messages up there.... Anyway what the NUT app would give me with my APC UPS that the built in features won't?
  18. I won't try it again that's for sure. And I maintain that while the install script was running it warned about my version being too new and that it was at my own risk, but it did not offer to stop or abort.
  19. Great advice. I took my flash to my PC and removed any remnants of this NUT app (folders and files) and also looked for any later changes. After I was satisfied I plugged it back in Unraid, took a deep breath, and rebooted. Apart from the fact it detected an unclean shutdown and started a parity check everything looks fine. Small price to pay. Is there any integrity check I could run to be sure? Any flash cleanup tool maybe?
  20. Then definitely USB controller because that crap of an app. It took control I guess to connect to the UPS but wrecked a havoc instead. What now?
  21. Wrong. While it was installing I clearly saw a warning that my Unraid version is too new and is not supported but this ^#%$ app did not stop and proceeded until the docker service crashed and something made my flash drive disappear. This might even appear in the syslog I posted. For the moment I could go on like that since all the apps work and the volume is accessible, but what concerns me is that my APC UPS is not visible anymore and I cannot renew the connection with it because of that ^&%^$^ NUT app.
  22. I could try another USB port to refresh the reading of the flash. But most importantly I need to be reassured. Accessing the settings page still shows remnants of that crappy app called NUT, and I cannot remove them of course. Is there something I could do on the flash drive on my PC to "clean" it from any new files or modifications this NUT app made and that "could" prevent a clean reboot? This is what shows if I click on the Flash drive in the Main page.
  23. Why? My flash drive is passing the chkdsk test now, it is readable on my PC, my Pro key file is in the config folder, and I can have access and backup if necessary any files or folders on the flash drive, but only on my PC. If I click on view the flash drive content on the Unraid page it says 0 file 0 directories. But that might be because of what happened. Maybe I could reboot the server but I am just too scared to do that before I check every thing first. I really don't want to go through the long parity check, app installs and configuration again.....
